Flying Blade? Don't forget Fortuitous. But I like to live dangerously and make ranged attacks in melee to provoke Disrupting Counters. Its a shame that Startoss Style does not give the damage bonus to melee attacks anymore in PFS

I also like to take 2 levels of Far Strike Monk for +3 to all saves, Evasion, Pseudo-Rapid Shot (flurry), 3 Bonus Feats that ignore prereqs that you can use (Quickdraw + Precise Shot/Combat Reflexes) and another you don't really need(Improved Unarmed Strike). Also, strongly recommend Martial Focus and Ricochet Toss over Returning enchant.

Sure you can't use armor if you want to flurry, but you get Wis to AC, at later levels increasing tertiary stats are not hard.

You do get Evasion eventually with Swashbuckler 11, so if you are planning ahead (or using retraining rules), you can stack Terra-Cotta Monk or Monk of the Sacred Mountain (Iron Mountain on d20) for Trap Spotter or Toughness(& +1 Nat Armor) respectively.

V. From V for Vendetta, of course.

Also (not commonly) known as Ven Lorovox.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Flying Blade Swashbuckler (at least 3 for disrupting counter), daggers, startoss style.

You can dump strength, at least if you are not starting at level 1, because you will get your level to damage and startoss is worth an extra 6 damage if you grab all 3 feats.
Human, point blank shot, weapon focus dagger, trait river rat for +1 damage with daggers. Startoss style + startoss shower and comet, deadly aim, martial focus and ricochet toss, deific obedience Pharasma for +2 to hit with daggers, combat reflexes, precise shot, QuickDraw (you can get all 3 from 2 levels of far strike monk) ...

Lots of feats. Fortuitous dagger eventually.
High dex, medium cha and con. Human + favored class bonus and a 7 int still means you get 4 skill points a level as a swashbuckler.

Normal round looks like, walk up to melee enemy, throw dagger into his face with startoss style, if he takes his attack of opportunity, spend one panache and disrupting counter, hit him for 1d4+20, use fortuitous weapon to hit him again for 1d4+20, he then finishes his AoO at a -4. Then finish your throw on him for 1d4 +26 (deadly aim), as well as attacks on 2-3 of his friends. If he(or his friends) die, you get the panache back to keep disrupting.

Unlike opportune party and riposte, disrupting counter is only an opportunity attack action. Not an immediate. So with combat reflexes and a boat load of panache, you can V for Vendetta everyone.

Strike from time to time in combat? As a flying blade? Mine intentionally provokes attacks of opportunity to do more damage, or did you not read disrupting counter? Mine uses startoss to injure a couple of enemies and with disrupting counter and a fortuitous weapon... Typically kills something and gets the panache back if they try to attack him.

And it's humorous to do d4 ... +30.
