Thanks really enjoyed the game, thanks for running it GM Nefreet, and to the cool characters. If I knew what I was doing I'd be dangerous, I gave you the wrong faction, when I gave you the wrong character, it should have been the Wayfinders. If you can change it I would be really grateful. As Uploki wanders into the room, he seems less than concerned about this than the observatory, seemingly bored to be back in the centre of commerce. Instead he looks intently at the computer terminal and its surrounding, at least it might be interesting, before the fun and games start. "Ohh, Kiv did you see that, that's a clever deception, a hidden draw in the desk. And look a data jack!" he claps his hands excitidly and continues to search around. It's some much fun when there's a game of hide and seek. The ysoki then suddenly stops in his tracks, "Oh, that removeable storage module its trapped." He head moves from side to side looking at different angles at the configuration and docking mechanism. "Hmmmm, its alarmed just like the door! It needs to be disabled before we can take it, if that's what you think we should do?"
Uploki walks round the room, looks out at the stars by using his datapad to image the view without damaging his senses, after the appearance of the solar elementals. He hums to himself, and abscent mindly says "Envar, what was in that other room? The otherside of the observatory, could we have a look? It's been such fun here, can we see more? I'm sure as Arch Energy's chief procurement officer you can extend the tour to show that room too."
Uploki moves quickly to see the solar more clearly, but keeping away from its radiation field. "Don't want to get too close, that last one nearly had me being sick." He grumbles to himself, his robes catching around his firing arm as he shuffles into a better position to fire at the glowing elemental. Quickly he transfers the pistol to his left hand and fires wildly. He untangles his arm and takes the gun in his right hand one more......
Uploki watches with interest as the creatures enter the observertory. "How exiciting, Solar Elementals if I'm not mistaken. They are elemental creatures from the plane of fire. Probably feral creations made of heat and radioactivity that live but a fleeting existence. How did they get here, must be some sort of solar flare brought them into our plane. Best protect yourselves people." With that Uploki spends his time bringing starlight and solar power into his hands, incanting strange sounds as the balls of power grow in his hands. Then with sudden movement he throws the balls of starlight at the nearest solar elemental.
what we all know: Elementals are immune to the following effects, unless the effect specifies that it works against elemental creatures: Bleed, critical hits, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning.
On the way up in the lift, Uploki casually mentions to Envar that the nice Mr Razor and his two friends were here to collect some credits due for services rendered from Envar. Uploki wonders if Envar knows about it? And can Uploki and his friends help? Uploki is taken with the view in front of him, and the idea that there are more parts of the observatory to see. "Envar, this is truly amazing." the little Ysoki almost jumping up and down with delight. He looks around at the mural and the the rest of the place, his eyes full of wonder. Uploki follows the path of the eclipse back to the sun, as points to the door closest. He speaks quickly, the words almost tumbling over each other in the excitement, "What's through there, is there more to this wonderful place?"
THEME KNOWLEDGE: You are obsessed with distant worlds, and you always mentally catalog everything you learn about new and strange places so you can recall it when you need it most. Additionally, you use your knowledge of biology and topology to inure yourself to alien hazards. Reduce the DC of Physical Science checks to recall knowledge about strange new worlds or features of space by 5. Physical Science is a class skill for you, though if it is a class skill from the class you take at 1st level, you instead gain a +1 bonus to Physical Science checks.
Uploki takes the bag, pulling it slowly across the table. His eyes narrow "Thanks, if it becomes neccessary I'm sure it will make a difference to our strength. Is there anything else we can do for you, you never know what of value we might find, as he shows my gladiators the place. If that's the case, where can we send the credits. Save you from hanging around waiting for that loaf to find some cedits to feed your companions. Let us know how much and we might persuade the fool, if we get the opportunity."
Uploki, annoyed at being ignored by Envar, keeps up the charade. He shakes his head and with some pvenom says, "I bring in the best gladiators seen this side of Akitor, for many moons and he sweet talks the fools into a tour of this place. No sign of the credits yet. What does he owe you for, some other entertainment?" Uploki enquires to see if he can elicit any useful information from Razor.
Uploki moves away from Envar towards the other three in the room, not acknowledging his companions. He speaks normally to the other Ysoki, but not so loud that it is obvious for the fellow starfinders to hear .
Uploki and Razor: Uploki cautiously approaches the Ysoki, bows his head and starts, "What a jerk!" he says as his eyes and body point to Envar, "Oh, sorry. He might be your employer, I don't mean to cause offence. My name's StarReader. That guy is..." Yoshi's face pulls a face of annoyance, as his voice diminishes to nothing. With a quick smile he asks, "Fancy a drink whilst Envar shows off his new friends?"
Uploki, rather embarrassed by his lack of contribution to the downfall of the Crest Eater, but he doesn't let it effect him for long. He tags along, making fire flare from his feet as walks from the arena. "I get called when they need the reserves" Uploki says mornfully to Envar, but it seems that this does not even register with him, and his comments don't make Envar any happier with Uploki.
He follows behind everyone, wondering if his talents are really suited to wandering a building, when outside the universe stares down at him. He sees a fellow Ysoki, looking rather intimidating, but it's one of his kind, so he tries to make out his reaction to him and his fellow travellers. He wonders whether to approach the tough looking Ysoki or just watch him closely.
Uploki bows to the audience oblivious to the fact none have actually seen him. He studies the creature for a moment. Over your intercom's you hear "Blimey, you donn't get Crest Eaters around so much. Good job too, being so large-sized and magical. Judging by its immature crest and thinner frame, it's probably an adolescent. This one 'll be like the others though, not too smart and looks hungry." Popping some mediflesh into his cheek, he takes out his knife, "I sure hope I don't have to use this" he thinks to himself. Covering himself in the sand of the arena floor he tries to blend with the side of the arena.
Uploki, seeing the giant lizard, forgets his effort to bluff everyone as a fine gladiator and instead he stares at the creature as his bottom lip drops. "Umm... its big!" The Ysoki looks around and runs after Joven, he jumps on Joven's shoulder, using it like a horse in gymnastics, launching himself into a big somersault. "I may be small, but I am mighty." he shouts as he flies through the air. Landing on hios feet, he points at the creature, a purple star seemingly growing in his hand.
Uploki, turns his cloak inside, in his first act of disguise, but it realy doesn't help. He looks to the beautiful Kiv, "I am little used to using this kind of deceit, to be someone else. You help would be appreciated. These technological pads are not so easy for me to use like that. I was never so good at using computers, when there are the mysteries of the stars to behold." The Ysoki readies himself once more to look mean and mercenary.
The Ysoki wearing blue, black and purple robes covered with what look like star constellations, his head covered with the hood from the cloak looks across and speaks. "I, Uploki, thank you Historia-7 for the opportunity to travel to Brilliance. What can you tell us of the space station? I have never visited there, interesting. His hands scratch his chin as his eyes close and he thinks on the journey ahead. "Gladiators, not my thing really." he mumbles under his breath.
