HP: 9/19 Active Spells: None I used to go to GenCon back in the 80's when it was in Milwaukee. Haven't been to one in 25 years though. Back in the day, it was one of the only ways to get new info about games or to buy stuff. Now its all online and information is easy to get about products and updates thanks to the internet. There are other cool things about the conventions, speakers, meeting people, play testing stuff of course.

HP: 9/19 Active Spells: None Normally creatures only get a single attack as an attack of opportunity, not a full sequence like the creature did as Unbolath stood from prone, so only the first claw should have hit. Also the standing from prone provoked the attack, not the spell casting, so again normally no concentration check is required since he had not even begun to cast yet. Let me know if you want me to go with what happened anyhow.

HP: 9/19 Active Spells: None Check my post, it has everything in it you need to know. The attack should be able to be performed as a valid trip. The only think I forgot is that technically Unbolath still threatens the area around him even against unseen foes and should get an attack of opportunity against a trip attempt. Since there was no perception vs. stealth check or initiative check for Unbolath, its unclear if the creature technically has Unbolath flat footed and thus denies an attack of opportunity to Unbolath. Even if he got an attack, he would have a 50% chance to miss due to being blinded, and would have probably failed a perception check (unless that 20 was for my check ;). Shame the natural 20 was wasted on a reflex roll that wasn't needed, but it might be anticlimactic if Unbolath killed your monster with a crit also. In any event if you rule that he was surprised the attack can proceed normally without any AoO from Unbolath.

HP: 9/19 Active Spells: None A trip attack can be done in place of a melee attack. At the end of a charge you may make a single melee attack, therefore my understanding is that is it a valid combination. He still has to complete the partial charge (30 move for him). He gets +2 to the CM because he is charging (and the -2 to AC for a round). Unbolath loses his dex bonus to AC for being blinded (+2 in his case) and thus also loses that from his CMD as per the rules on how CMB/CMD work. Unbolath's CMD is normally 17, reduced to 15 for being blind. The creature gets an additional +2 to add to its +3 CMB for charging, so +5 for a total CMB roll of 17 which would knock Unbolath down even without being blinded. If you want me to save though I can, but no custom rules are needed for the scenario; although it is a trip and not a bull rush. reflex save DC 15: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 - look I even got a 20 dang ;)

HP: 9/19 Active Spells: None You can easily change the colors around them. If I have identical monsters I open the pic in paint and add a number to each one and save the image off, although that is sometimes a pain to have to upload each image separately to the google doc. There is also another option that is to highlight the picture, and select the Image Options button, and then on the far right choose Image recolor. That lets you select different colors for each image, which can also be helpful. The outline works just as well though.

HP: 9/19 Active Spells: None Google Maps. Also, you can put borders around the tokens in Google Docs also to help differentiate between the player and monsters on the map. I do that now with all my battle maps. The line color and line weight icons will let you do that. For example on this map I choose red for the monsters and yellow for players, with a line weight of 3. Let me know if that looks good, if not I can undo it. I don't know of a way to make circular halos though. Perhaps if the original was a circular image to start with, (.gif? I dunno if its possible ).
