![]() What was our original mission? Weren't we supposed to just find out where the orcs were and report back to the chief? If so, we probably shouldn't try to assault an orc fort. Especially with an elven princess on our hands, and likely both a troll and a hag inside. >_>* I also remember one of the traitors escaping, what if he warned someone about us? ![]()
AC 21, T 13, FF 17 / Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +1 (All +1 vs arcane) / Init +5 / Perception +1
![]() We find somewhere defensible, possibly the cliff? And kill them. They've got a hunting troll to sniff us out wherever we go. We need somewhere with a choke point where only one or two orcs can get at us at a time. ![]()

![]() Wait, a score is twenty right? F*CK! Now that's something to run from. Cursing quietly under his breath that all their work with the troll is about to be undone, Tupilek realizes that he is no match for so many orcs at once. Mounting up on Pikkuveli again, he whispers "Nevermind brother, we live, fight another day." Tupilek urges the mammoth as quietly as possible into the trees after his companions. ![]() "Cowards." Tupilek says, unable to ignore the troll at his feet. He'd seen too many of his friends and family killed by trolls. Trolls who serve Bampfwick, same as the orcs. He grunts at Pikkuveli, indicating that the mammoth should finish off the troll. Gore (includes prone): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Dismounting from the mammoth Tupilek slings his greatclub into the holder on his back and draws his shortbow. "Don't stop attacking it little brother, even if it looks dead." He instructs the mammoth, pointing to the mass of twitching regenerating troll flesh. He knocks an arrow and turns towards the sound of the oncoming orcs waiting for them to arrive. I'm not sure why everyone is running away, but that's not Tupilek's style. The troll wasn't even unconscious yet and everyone starts running? ![]()

![]() Tupilek drives his heels into Pikkuveli, "Yah!" he cries as the furry pachyderm lumbers forward towards the troll. Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
The rain whips into Tupilek's eyes like tiny darts in his wild charge forward and the tip of the lance completely misses the Troll. Greaaattt.... ![]()

![]() Aooooooooouuuuu, werewolf in london. Aoooooooouuuuu Tupilek wakes easily and begins to strap on his new breastplate as quickly as possible. He gladly accepts assistance from anyone who is already armored. After tending to the breastplate, he grabs his club and mounts up on Pikkuveli. "Thing you see on two legs or four?" ![]()
AC 21, T 13, FF 17 / Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +1 (All +1 vs arcane) / Init +5 / Perception +1
![]() With no one else showing interest in the breastplate, Tupilek straps on the bronze masterwork. Though it weighs the same as his old wooden armor, it's much easier to move in and doubtless provides better protection. Perhaps now Bampfwick will finally know the same fear that she has inflicted on so many others. Tupilek is clearly happy to be back with Pikkuveli, nuzzling and scratching him often. He looks askance at the elf whenever she goes near the mammoth, but doesn't do anything to stop her. ![]()
AC 21, T 13, FF 17 / Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +1 (All +1 vs arcane) / Init +5 / Perception +1
![]() Tupilek is still down a lot of HP, and wants to go kill Bampfwick and stick to the mission. He was all rearing to go to follow that orc back to it's fellows so we could gather some intel and complete our mission, but then Moklik murdered him. Now we seem to have shifted main focus to this crypt thing just because it's here. What happened to the urgent intel gathering mission to the mudpits people? ![]()
AC 21, T 13, FF 17 / Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +1 (All +1 vs arcane) / Init +5 / Perception +1
![]() "Him say Bampfwick?" Tupilek asks in a low growl. Walking over to the cocoon he cuts the face of the orc inside free. Punching it straight in the face he grabs it by the throat and shouts, "Where is Bampfwick!? WHERE!?" ![]()
AC 21, T 13, FF 17 / Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +1 (All +1 vs arcane) / Init +5 / Perception +1
![]() "No one see us down here? I don't care where, need sleep now!" He insists pointing to the two deep and still bleeding bite wounds in his torso. I'm at 3/12 HP. We're down a healing spell, I'm not sure if Wheatbeard memorized more, but even one's a big deal for this level. We need to rest before we go dungeon delving. We're also shy one mammoth for anything that goes on in here, and he's actually a better fighter than me. ![]()

![]() You guys have really got to remember to take 10 in non combat situations. Keep seeing so many low rolls come up that could be avoided. Not that it would matter in the case of the healing, but 16 is a hell of a lot better than 8. Bonewright doesn't have light? I didn't buy any torches, usually don't need them since one or two characters in a party can typically make magical light. Didn't consider how that would be rarer in this world >_>* ![]()

![]() I'm all leveled up. DM said via PM it was cool if I made us a map to use. So I made this map. You can add images to it by either copy+pasting the image in from another tab in your browser, or saving an image to your hard drive and then going to Insert->Image->Choose and Image to Upload. After they're in there you can drag the corners to resize them to match the grid. If you want one image to be on top of another, right-click it and go to order. Move it as needed. I drew out a 20' template (the red dotted line under our characters). It can be copied as needed, and the color can be changed. For instance to represent a torch you could make it yellow. Then line it up with the character holding the torches's icon and hold down ctrl, then click the icon. Then select group. You can then drag the character around and the "torch" will follow. Same thing goes for distinguishing like enemies. You can use the text box tool (on the toolbar at the top T inside the square) and make an appropriately sized one over the monster's image. Then ctrl-click them and group them. You can then copy and paste it and double click the numbers to change them. I've made a few example orcs on the right side. Finally, this map is rather large. So once we resize images folks may have trouble seeing them. You can get quite a bit more detail by zooming in. It's set so that anyone can edit it, but I figure we should leave that mostly to DM Stubbs to avoid things happening out of order in combat. |
