The scene opens in Thuvia with a young alchemist shaking hands with the five leaders of the Thuvian city states and a local priestess of Pharasma. In the background, workers build a tower to the sky. A lone morrigna, Tosof, mouths the word ‘no’ with a shocked expression.

Artokus [lifting an elixir to the sky]:
Thuvia is blossoming
All our enemies beware

Tosof [shaking head and trailing spiders]:
See how they charge to chaos?
They embrace it with such flair

Tukalo:
You’re gonna be the main event
Like no chemist before
I'm brushing up on looking down
Watch our tower soar!

Tosof:
Thus far, a rather uninspiring thing

Scene change: Top of the tower.

Artokus [sighs, looking over Thuvia]:
Oh... Thuvia is blossoming

Tukalo:
We’ve come a long way so far, young master, and I think...

Artokus:
They all say, “Do this!”

Tukalo:
Now when I said that, I

Artokus:
They all say, “Stay here!”

Tukalo:
What I meant was

Artokus:
No one saying, “Stop that!”

Tukalo:
Look, what you don’t realize

Artokus [glumly]:
Maybe I’ll just stay here

Tukalo:
Year after year?
Losing your life more each day?
Well that's definitely out

Artokus:
They built a library today...

Tukalo:
I think it’s time that you and I
Arranged a heart to heart

Artokus:
Remind me once again
Why I never took you all apart?

Tukalo:
If this is where our alchemy is headed
Count me out
Out of service, out of Thuvia
I wouldn’t hang about!
Oh... who am I fooling?

Artokus:
Oh, Thuvia is blossoming
Everyone look left
Everyone look right
Everywhere you look there
Thuvia’s in the spotlight

Tukalo [sighs]:
Alright

Tosof:
So how long will this all go on?

Artokus:
Am I the Alchemist or a pawn?

Tukalo [taking Artokus’s hand]:
Together we face another dawn

Everyone:
Oh, Thuvia is blossoming

A couple or three of this people are dead in my Golarion, and I'm not really sure I like the Sapphire Butterfly having such a prominent role in Kintargo or the entries told as stories, but on the whole this is a good lore book.

A little meerkat in professor's robes peers at Amaranthine Witch. "If you killed off Artokus, we are having WORDS. Just sayin'."

Awww, thank you! I wanted to bid on it, but it was already 300 dollars when I first peeked at it.

I still haven't found out who won my letter of recommendation from Tukalo. I'm looking forward to writing that one.
