GM Secrets:

Dwarven Leaders Room on a 5?: 1d5 ⇒ 3

Coloua makes her way back up to the floor she had left Triss on. When she called out to her, she gave her a thumbs up as she managed to open her second door. She peeked her head in and looked around for a moment then sighed. "Not this one either then, two beds that look like they've been occupied. I'd imagine the leader ain't sharing a room when he can let his workers do all the doubling up." she said scratching her head.

She looked over at Coloua "You managed to find the keys then? This should be the right floor, judging by the stench coming off the dirty clothes in these rooms. Smells like a brewery practically." she said in disgust.

Triss nods at the littlest one's plan and pulls out her gear from inside her coat. She looks at the floor they are on and sighs a bit "Luv, there ain't no way I'm gonna get through all these in a reasonable time. Even if we get lucky and get the right floor, good chance we don't get the door on the first batch. I'll narrow down the floor, go see if you can't sneak your way into the kitchen or behind counter of the inn and try and find the keys while I start to work." she said trying not to be irritable about the amount of work being offered to her.

She begins work on the first door.

Triss nods to Coloua and fakes a yawn "Well, looks like you lot got yourselves something to do. I think I'm a bit too tired from the long journey still. I'm gonna call it a night." she said before just making her way upstairs.

Once where there was no more people watching them, she dropped her pretense "Say, what are we doing anyhow?" she asked quietly.

Triss paused as she was thanked personally for doing her job. "Look love, there is no need to thank me. You lot are doing your job, I gotta do mine. You all hauled my frozen ass out of the water when that nasty little bugga sent me screaming into it. So, the way I see it...I think we are past thanking each other for every little thing." she said tapping her foot a bit.

She stared at Ella for a bit longer before finally addressing the Elephant in the room. "Look, I don't mean to tell anyone bout their manners...but it's bad form to be yammering on sugah when you got a god damned greataxe sticking out of your armor and what I assume is your ribs." she said looking a little sickened at even describing the current issue.

Triss takes a minute and looks around at everyone who is injured. She tries to do the best she can to take care of everyone at least a little but it'll take more than a single day to recover from this battle.

Godfrey will heal for 8, Ella will Heal for 8, and Coloua will heal for 5

Triss watched the thing sail away as she began to set down her violin. Her eyes widened as she saw Triss bring Coloua over. She began looking her over "It looks like the bleeding slowed, she'll live...of course, it'd be a good idea to apply a lil magic for our own little blighter yah?" she said looking at the rest of the group and seeing they are all unharmed.

CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

She began tracing her fingers over the worst of the wounds and bright blood red light shimmered and disappeared behind where her fingers danced. The blood receded slowly back into the wound and she looked on expectantly along with the rest.

Triss makes herself know for perhaps the first time in some time. The acrid smell of poisons wafting off the leathers of her attire and cloak. She looks around confused at first as to why they stopped during daylight but spies the tusks and her eyes go a bit wide. She makes her way up to the group before they meet with the Chieftain and his interpreter.

She whistles quietly "Look at that beaut, rare to see one so long. I'd wager you'd be able to get a pretty stack of platinum for it. It's gotta be worth around two thousand gold I'd wager." she says impressed. Then her eyes glow a bit and you can tell she's looking for magics. She scratches her neck "Now ain't that interesting. I'd wager you could fold magic into that tusk nice and easy...a beautiful specimen indeed." she says before looking over the two men's shoulders and whistling aloud.

She walks up to them and bows politely "A pleasure gents, they call me Triss. I'm a bit of the merchant lady for these fine folks. I gots an eye for good yah see. Hah, good joke yah? Anyways, mayhap I just dance my pretty little legs over there and get a peek at what we're trading for?" she says batting lashes at them.

The 'shaman' pauses at her odd way of speaking before translating for his chief. The chief smiles widely and laughs. He motions for the woman to go forth onto their boat. It doesn't take her long before she's back and moves back up to Godfrey and Ileosa "There's about another twelve hundred worth of tusks over there. This is a mighty fine haul here...." she says smiling a bit coyly.

Triss makes her way onto the jolly boat a bit late, her eyes still squinting against the sun and the shine off the waters. She looks around and nods at the group. "Don't worry, we should be fine. Two strong rowers such as yourselves and me at the helm, no seal shall escape our grasp!" she says laughing defiantly.

She looks over at the Captain and his motley crew of sailors and spits."I refuse to lose to that sorry excuse for a Captain. Come, we'll make him practically green with envy at our haul!" she says as the boat finally hits water.

Survival: 1d20 + 9 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 9 + 4 + 2 = 28
Survival: 1d20 + 9 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 4 + 2 = 22
Survival: 1d20 + 9 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 9 + 4 + 2 = 28

The haul is excellent for the first day. With Triss offering as lookout and pointing out targets the entire group manages to snag a seal a piece. The jolly boat is laden down with the extra weight of some fantastic specimens. Truly these pelts will be worth a small fortune.

The water around the boat is a bit murky with blood and the seals seem to start to disperse and makes it difficult to hunt any further. Triss whistles to the group to pack it in and she starts to tie down the haul to keep them from disappearing from any misadventure.
