Wait... there are races other than gnomes?

Pretty sure they're just hallucinations.

"Well that's a happier ending than I expected. A good day when everyone comes back alive."

Verdant Wheel

Timtenzekil moves into range, conjuring forth fire this time. "Burn you monster!"

Burning Hands: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6

Well, that's par for the course.

Verdant Wheel

Pausing to allow his allies time to work, Timtenzekil then summons a spout of water to blast the enormous skeleton!

Hydralic Push: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5) = 9

1 action delay until everyone else has taken advantage of flank, then casting before the big guy goes. Understanding delay actions now, stepping forward with the third action.

Verdant Wheel

Moving to join Cat with Kralgang, Timtenzekil summons slippery grease, attempting to attach it to the skeletons weapon.

Stack them penalties!

Verdant Wheel

Seeing the approaching horrors, Timtenzekil clicks his tongue and gestures towards Kralgang. "Guard, Cat!" With the burning leopard moving, the druid then speaks a guiding word to Haggra and Kootz if there is no restriction against double casting it.

Verdant Wheel

"Not my place to judge how a fellow acquires his goods. More than happy to assist in getting a spirit back to its rightful place in the world, however. We're an organization of just such people, one I'd imagine could be real helpful to your future missions if you're helpful now. It's just good business."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

Verdant Wheel

As Cat paws at his pouch, Timtenzekil recalls the healing potion sent with him by the clerks at the lodge. "Good enough. Let's go."

Healing: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Verdant Wheel

"Much obliged." Timtenzekil downs the potion gratefully.

Healing: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Verdant Wheel

Gritting his teeth against the ringing pain of the blow, Timtenzekil tries to mark out natural wards against the spirits.

Nature to Weaken: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

As he does, he readies his shield against another projectile. Raising shield as third action.

Verdant Wheel

"Cat!" Calling out to his companion, Timtenzeki gestures to the weaker skeleton, sending the leopard into flank alongside Kralgang. Focusing on the bigger threat, he whirls a sticky vine out of nothingness and casts it towards the undead.

Tanglefoot Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Verdant Wheel

Deciding the bigger skeleton is the more immediate problem, Timtenzekil steps closer and casts a field of slippery grease under its feet!

Casting Grease in the green box, DC18 once more.

Verdant Wheel

"Don't see any problem with electricity, but I'll take your word for it. If it resists fire, I'll just have to use more fire."

Verdant Wheel

Seeing the undead monsters advancing, Timtenzekil steps up with a few quick gestures and primal words, launching an arc of lightning to try and destroy the unraveling horror completely.

Electric Arc Damage (DC18): 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Sczarni represent!

Verdant Wheel

Seeing the obvious respect given to the cat, Timtenzekil draws on Uncle Guaril's best tips for persuasion and his own experience handling animals.

Intimidation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Verdant Wheel

"Aye. Hard to say if it's natural creatures or something else." Clicking softly to the cat, Timtenzekil scans the sides of the road as well. "Could just be normal predators, but I doubt it."

Verdant Wheel

"So it's a recovery mission. Sad, but not uncommon. Which just makes it sadder." Timtenzekil strokes the long moustache drooping from his face as he ponders the mission. "Did they happen to say what caravan they joined up with? Or is there like to be only one along this road?"

"Sorry for the delay." Stomping up the steep road, a silver haired gnome calls out. Padding behind him, a spotted cat follows, unremarkable save for the flames that seem to be burning on its pelt without causing harm. "A month here and still no one can stop asking about her. Name's Timtenzekil Tengentrail." Examining the front of the tea house, he clicks his tongue and gestures at a non-flammable spot, which the leopard lays down at with only a little delay.
