The most silly and pointless rule (not the most important one, mind you), is the fact, that you can only draw a weapon as part of a regular move, if your BAB is +1 or higher.

I have never seen a more niche rule. It only applies to like half the players for the very first level of the game. After this, it is never relevant again. It doesn't make anything more fun, it doesn't balance anything, as warriors are already the best at level 1, and it doesn't seem to make much sense.
I have never understood why this rule exists, why anybody ever even thought of it or what they hoped to accomplish with it.

I have the same problem with Exotic Weapon Proficiency requiring a +1 BAB. If the human warpriest of Torag wants to start out able to take vengeance with the Dwarven war axe he inherited from his dying Dwarf mentor, shouldn't he be able to? Is it really going to break the game that much if the rogue is proficient with spiked chain at level 1 than if he uses the Combat Trick rogue talent to get proficient with it at level 2?

FWIW, I do actually believe the intent and flavor of the class means it's supposed to be a Outsider other than the character trying to enter the class. But as written, it does seem like any Outsider of sufficient hit dice with the ability to heal himself up from or prevent himself from falling to zero hit points can meet the requirement by himself, mechanically speaking.

I don't agree that it should have to be a Good-subtype outsider only. Granted, those are the ones who will be doing it ninety-nine percent of the time but Good-subtype is very specific rules wording which they chose not to use.

Native Outsider isn't the same thing as an Outsider. Proooobably not.

Native is a subtype. It doesn't make the Outsider less of an Outsider any more than a Humanoid with the Giant subtype is less of a Humanoid.

Here's one for ya. Say I want to take the Mystery Cultist prestige class. One of the ways to qualify is by "being rescued from the brink of death by a willing good outsider of CR 5 or greater." (Chronicle of the Righteous p.48)

Now let's say I've got a level 6 Aasimar paladin (CR 5) who falls below zero hit points in combat. He casts Hero's Defiance as an immediate action and brings himself back up above zero hit points. Since he is a good outsider who has rescued himself from the brink of death, does he now qualify for the prestige class? Or can he only qualify if a different outsider saves his life?

This formerly powerful Inevitable went into Irori's realm for some reason and was caught. Irori stripped it of most of its power, taught it his doctrine, and sent it to the Material Plane to serve Chosen Ones as penance until one gets to sufficiently high level before dying. This is, say, the seventh. "I've got a good feeling about this one!"

That's pretty good! Makes me picture Irori's herald, the Old Man, riding up to Irori on his tortoise with a cart full of broken robot parts behind him. "Electromagnetic fence got another one," the Old Man says. Irori sighs and takes out his screwdriver.

If Irori has paladins, Irori can have LG outsider servants IMO. If you really want something LN then a shikigami kami could work though.

I agree with you that he could have LG servants. The wording of the ability just makes it sound like it has to match the god's alignment. If the GM doesn't let that slide, though, the Shikigami could work well. I tend to forget about the Kami altogether so thanks!

I have a Paladin of Irori with the Chosen One archetype. The archetype grants the True Form ability at level 7 which lets you select an Outsider familiar that matches your deity's alignment, going on to state that it's "typically an arbiter, a cassissian, a harbinger, or a silvanshee, but potentially any lawful neutral, lawful good, or neutral good outsider familiar depending on the patron."

Since Irori is Lawful Neutral, it seems that would necessitate an arbiter familiar. But according to page 91 of Inner Sea Gods, Irori dislikes Inevitables (and Formians, for that matter), to the point of not allowing them to enter his divine realm. So it wouldn't make sense that he would grant a familiar of that race.

My question is, are there any other Lawful Neutral outsiders that would qualify? I don't normally look at 3rd party material but would be willing to do so in this case just because the amount of Lawful Neutral Outsiders seems quite thin compared to Outsiders of other alignments in Paizo material. Or do I just have to suck it up and come up with a reason why this one low-ranking Inevitable in particular would not only get into Irori's good graces, but be trusted with tutoring one of the god's champions as well?

Your first attack is at full BAB. But if it's a natural attack, you have to apply a -5 penalty to the roll in order to use a subsequent attack with a manufactured weapon.

It sounds like you've got your heart set on Lore Oracle, but if the party is melee/range heavy and you expect the character to get into a lot of combat, you might want to consider Metal Oracle instead and take the Skill at Arms revelation. Proficiency in all martial weapons and heavy armor does not suck.

As far as spells that are worth having, Bless and Inspire Courage both stack nicely with Inspire Courage.

I'm sure this question has come up before, but I haven't seen a version of it in a while, so: what are some feats you think are seriously underrated? For instance, ones that you don't see all that much, but you think most characters should seriously consider?

I dig Steadfast Slayer. It makes small melee characters a lot more worthwhile.

Are you kidding? I love building Half-Orc Universalists who hurl their great axes. It's come in quite handy for clearing trash many times.

I played a game once where the char gen rules were you roll all your stats in order and those are the stats you get, period. I got a good Dex and Wis so I played a dual-wielding Warpriest and I just COULD NOT get the hang of it. On paper I thought he'd be a monster in combat but he turned out to be a joke compared to the rest of the group. I wound up spending all my time standing behind the frontline characters buffing and healing them - which was great and did help out, but it wasn't what I had been trying to make the character do at all.

Ran an adventure once where the Reveal that the kindly villagers were an evil cult was at a feast thrown in the PC's honor. They reanimated the roast cow into a Burning Aurochs Skeleton and set it loose on the PC's. Fun times.

Creatures can have multiple primary attacks and multiple secondary attacks. Secondary attacks are usually things like tail slaps, wing buffets, etc. whereas claws, bites, and slams are almost always primary. Now if you're using a weapon, ANY natural attacks you do along with it become secondary. So if your bloodrager swings a sword in one hand and takes a claw swipe with the other, that claw will be at -5 and half strength bonus. But if he just uses his two claws, then he gets full attack bonus and full strength out of them.

I dunno, things seem "quite dire" for me all the time. I've lost track of the number of times when I've run up against an obstacle that's going to keep pounding me for insane damage unless I succeed on a check using one of two skills that I just don't freaking have. So I toss a Blessing, roll 2d4, and hope for the best. Surprisingly, it's worked a fair number of times!

I love multi-classing and it's rare for me to build a character that doesn't dip in any campaign. Having said that, WotR is like Christmas for a Paladin. It's pretty much designed for a Paladin to shine in and your abilities are going to give you a serious edge in just about every scripted encounter. I'll dip just about anytime, anywhere, but I would not dip as a Paladin in Wrath of the Righteous.
