Awww. Unfortunate. But agreed. It was fun.

Thanks for the back and forth, folks.

I politely disagree.

Us wandering around aimlessly - Not really true, we have a few plot hooks presented - an eviscerated merchant, a fortress full of undead, a crazed angel, and the abducted citizens. There is also one or two personal projects Tiame would look into. Some of these are based on player backstories, yes, but the mad angel is (I would assume, at least) something that indicates to the plot the GM wants to present to us. We just kind of escaped from that fight and it was not touched since. I have reasons for that, as a player (not as a character - Tiame would intend on looking into that). Which brings me to my next point...

The party is split - this is something I have been trying to fix since I arrive to Havengul. Tiame has contacted Eliana multiple times now, but Eliana seems to be lost to the void at the moment. Which means - after we finish this gambling hall scene - I will try to get in touch with the "human commander" instead, and we will see whether we can get together as a party at last. We would pursue one of the hooks mentioned above, hopefully, and see where it gets us. When I start a campaign, PCs tend to be scattered, unless you want to go for something "usual", such as "You meet in a tavern. Say 'Hi', introduce yourselves, and let's bash some orc heads!", etc. From five groups, we formed two. Now we just need to get in touch, and hopefully it will work out. *cough* Karthan *cough*

Pace - I agree the game was a little on the slow side. However, there are two side to each coin. GM has school duties, as mentioned earlier in discussion. I would never try to put a game on priority when compared to anything happening in real life - well, when I say anything, I really mean I would absolutely put some things under the game in my priority list, but school is not one of those things. On the other hand, I -personally- went completely off the grid for like two weeks during holiday season. I do apologse for holding you back, if that were the case. But as I said, the players don't do daily posts either, so if we want to address this, we should look at everyone, not just leinathan.

My first priority as a player, and I have mentioned this multiple times, is to have the party work together first and foremost. Otherwise the GM has to work on what is essentially two separate campaigns, one of them being a solo campign for Karthan, where he can not do any back and forth with another player character (other than his mercs). I don't know about TarkXT, but -myself- I would find that incredibly dull; play by post, or not.

If Eliana (via player or GM) does not organise some sort of meet and greet, I will try to approach Karthan directly.

On the topic of Eliana - if they do not come back, will we recruit another, or continue with 4 people? Just out of curiosity, really.

"Fair, thank you.", Tiame smells the wine and takes a sip to try it. She raises an eyebrow. "Not exactly award winning, but it might do. How much for this bottle? Also, how much for our room? I'm honestly not sure how long we will be staying, so I would pay out daily. It is possible that we would simply disappear one day, and I hate to owe someone money for good service."

She counts the stated amount (let me know how much to deduct, please) , and adds 5 extra gold to the pile. She slides the money slowly towards Rosalina while maintaining eye contact.

Diplomacy, Gather information: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

"You seem like you might be familiar with the local events. I also wanted to ask - discreetly - whether you would happen to know who could point me towards the people working at the Sotos estate. I have some business with the man, and I would like to know a little more about my potential business partner before barging in."

Extra question. Am I allowed to research spells?

Quote:
Independent Research: A wizard can also research a spell independently, duplicating an existing spell or creating an entirely new one. The cost to research a new spell, and the time required, are left up to GM discretion, but it should probably take at least 1 week and cost at least 1,000 gp per level of the spell to be researched. This should also require a number of Spellcraft and Knowledge (arcana) checks.

Not to worry, I would probably not introduce custom stuff into the game. Unless you would give me an okay on that, that is. Just in case I would have issues looking for the spells I am interested in purchasing.

GM, if you want, I can send you a short list of what the character would be interested in the area. If that helps you. Alternatively, I can do it all in character with whoever is tending the bar at the moment, just waiting for that wine pricing. That's one of the things I am looking for.

*cough* A few bottles of wine worh 10 gp or more each *cough*

For an experiment.

As for Karthan's situation, I believe we have lost Eliana? I didn't see her post in a while, and could opt to find 'the human mercenary' instead to help bridge the two groups.

Or was anyone with you in touch with Brolof?

This is the player's last post (on the player profile - didn't check individual aliases). Finals, apparently, althought I would assume they would at least let us know what's up.

I want to do stuff, but I want to ease the GM strain by having a single party and one narrative, instead of two separate stories. I was hoping Eliana would facilitate some sort of common ground, being acquainted (or it seems, at least) with both Isabella and Karthan, and at least partially with Li'Omrut. My character is new in town, so not much to work with there.

In the meantime, I have a personal errand in mind, but I would need to soeak with Isabela in private on the matter. Meaning after the gambling hall scene.

Tiame comes down with Sinri in tow. Sort of. As she walks down the stairs, she stops for a moment, and scans the room briefly before moving on.

She moves thorugh the floor, attempting to not draw attention. She dodges the occasaional walker moving through, and sits by the bar. She orders a bottle of red wine and two glasses. When the order arrives, she smells the wine, and pours two glasses. She pours two glasses, and puts one underneath her feet for Sinri. The familiar smells the liquid, makes a grimace, but drinks.

Tiame looks back at the person behind the bar, and takes a sip. "What's the best red you have here? I might need a few more bottles."

Sorry everyone, I wanted to make a longer post, but it's a chore on a phone. Back home now, and I'll get straight to it.

Hello everyone,

I am posting this into all of my games. First of all, happy holiday season! Wish you are all healthy and well. You may have noticed I did not post in a while. I am currently spending my days traveling to visit family, so I will not be able to maintain my pace. I will try to drop in a post when I can, however. But it will be a tad slower than usual.

Thank you for understanding.

"Oh... uh - Probably duck or goose, if it's any good.", the woman responds, noting the attempt to change the subiect. "We don't have to talk about it now, but I would very much like to learn more about your plane of origin... at some point."

After Isabela leaves, Tiame looks out of the window for a moment. She takes in the atmosphere of the street below, and steps back into the room.

"You reckon she went to buy a loaf of bread to snack on?”, she almost laighs at her own joke, though it's a fake smile. One that hides an entirely different feeling. She half-sits on a piece of furniture. With her feet still on the ground, and her hands holding the top edge of the chest of drawers, Tiame turns her head towards Li'Ormut. "How did you get here, anyway? I mean you're not originally from this plane, I assume. Is there a story to tell? I saw a demon or two. They're usually much more inclined to rip open one's larynx, than to use it for a chat. So how did that happen?”

"Great! Let's do that when people arrive."

Tiame thinks for a moment. "You mentioned this abducted child. No helping Sotos now, so we cna put that on hold, but I would like to find out what killed him eventually. Let's try to find this kidnapper of yours first. If the child is still alive, we might figure it out before the situation gets worse."

She looks at Sinri. "Mittens, I need you to find the cathar Captain, and tell her where we are. Preferably without witnesses. Just follow her for a while, and chat her up when she is alone. Tell her we will look into the case of the missing children.", Tiame looks at Isabela - "This was not the first case, was it?", and looks back to the familiar. "We will then look into the evisceration of Sotos, unless something more pressing pops up. Also, please ask her if she can give you a lock of her hair, a piece of nail, or something similar. In case we need to get in touch..."

Tiame takes out a somewhat aged leather collar and a short length of a thread. She ties the thread to the collar and puts it on Sinri, despite his initial protests.

I'll try to drop a post tomorrow suggesting a possible course for what I intend to do. Or several options. Bedtime bow.

Yeah we're officially sleeping anyway. Not that they would care here, it seems.

"Servants...", Tiame ponders on Isabela's suggestion. "The ledger said he couldn't afford them, so who knows how long it was since they saw him last. Someone from the merchant guild said he showed up three days ago. I think, at least. It was a little loud. Maybe go check there as well. And yes, instead of waiting around, we could go look up this captain of yours, see what she knows about recently eviscerated bodies in town. If anything at all, that is."

She looks over to Li'Omrut.

"And tonight, we can move into this - undercity area. It's not my scene, so I would have to trust you."

Tiame nods at Rosalina, and starts heading upstairs. Once in the hall, she looks to her companions. "Any preference?"

Tiame ruffles her hair a bit before they go in, and waits for Isabela to prepare the owner. She just barely raises a hand to wave at Rosalina. "Good day. I just arrived last night and I was looking for a place to stay. Is -" she looks at and gestures towards Isabela "- over here mentioned this is the place to be. Apologies if you are closed, but it was a long night... I could keel over next to a corpse, and just doze off. The tall fellow in the back is our muscle for the occasion", she points over to Li'Omrut, and reaches for her pouch. "I'm willing to pay extra for the accomodation, if that helps."

No lies.

While Eliana is talking to the merchants, a stray cat appears in the place, and starts to rub against her shinguards. "Meow meow meow...", he purrs between the audible attempts at catching her attention.

The cat seems familiar, somehow. And when not paid proper attnetion, decides to instead seek out Moonwing.

Sinri can communicate with any creature that has a language. I see Moonwing does understand common, and I recall you two communicating somewhat. He would pass a message to Moonwing ( Speak with Animals (Sp) ) abut the wereabouts of Tiame and Isabela - The Sotos place, and adds a suggestion to keep it a secret for the time being, but invites them for a chat. He does not mention Li'Omrut for now. If Eliana pays attention, he would pass the message to her directly. I think truespeech functions tt

Speak with animals:

Speak with Animals (Sp): An agathion gains speak with animals as a constant spell-like ability (caster level equal to the agathion’s Hit Dice), except using it is a free action that does not require sound

Meanwhile, at the Sotos estate...

Tiame almost laughs at the cart suggestion. "The old cliche is back to bite us in the cheeks. I mean, if it works, it works. We should make extra precautions. I'll go look for some hay to cover you."

Are there stables here?"

Hey everyone, I am down with the worst sickness of them all. A common cold. Being a male, this is very exhausting and I should be back to my good old self in a few days. In the meantime, please excuse me for being slower. Thank you.

"Not sure where I'd get a coffin right now. Isabela? Can you bring us your bed? Or is that just a myth?"

Tiame looks at her as Sinri audibly snickers.

"Should I go find the cathar, then?", Sinri inquires once he is done with the mouse. "Please do. Try to be inconspicuous about it. No eye-level flight on the streets, and that kind of business. I'm putting my complete trust in you." Tiame jests.

Sinri nods, and starts heading for the door.

"Did Sotos have anything to do with the angel? Well, your guess is as good as mine. I didn't know him that well. Just a client. While I -did- meet him a few years ago, we didn't talk much, except for our mutual business arrangement."

"As for smuggling Li'Omrut out of the house, we could get a wagon and shove him inside a barrel or something. With your convincing disguises, it might be doable when the streets are almost empty. Who's would check a wagon with some barrels or boxes on it?", Tiame thinks out loud.

"Everyone who levies the local sellers." - Sinri adds quietly and continues to dine on a mouse he caught near the pantry.

The witch frowns in thought. "Yes, perhaps. Should we get in touch with the cathar, then? I can send Sinri to deliver a message quietly, just to be on the safe side. We can try to find a wagon here on the property."

She shrugs. "If they owned one."

Tiame peeks into the basket to find something to chew on. "Well, it's mostly the fact that the celestials are supposed to be the paragon of virtue. But I guess nothing is perfect. Especially in this world.", she looks at Sinri as she says that. The cat looks back at her. "If I didn't know you for 30 years, I would be offended right now. Look at the people in this room. A demon and a vampire. Surprisingly friendly and docile. And the angel yesterday? Self-righteous and there was nothing you could do to change her mind. She almost attacked a peasant girl because she dared to request help for her sick family. Nothing is perfect. Stop existing in a black and white world already. You're not some 20 year old child and should know better at this point."

"True. I just ... don't get out very much." - Tiame takes in the lesson, but to someone not familiar with her and Sinri's relationship, it might seem like she is being scolded.

"Right - to the topic at hand. Isabela...", she looks at the detective. "I hear you have been investigating some crimes in the area. Remember any body found without internal organs? Because the body upstairs is devoid of life and innards. Perhaps we should get in touch with the cathar we met yesterday? The one with the Griffon. Eliana?"

She takes some bread and takes small bites.

"We could send Sinri to find her. Or I could prepare a ritual to contact her. If she has a strong will, and the contact comes from an unknown source, she might be able to stop that connection from happening."

I'll have a post in later today. Sorry for delaying.

"Well - not that I was too familiar with the guy, but he mentioned a wife once or twice." Tiame continues as she searches the cabinets. "The ledger states he was not able to pay for service. Maybe that's an explanation for all the dust."

She sighs as she goes through the produce. "Why I still have faith in humanity after seeing corrupted angels, is another matter."

"You're naive because you lived alone in the woods your whole life.", Sinri snickers from the table, then returns to cleaning himself.

"Bad tutelage... Teacher.", Tiame responds with a smile on her face, and throws a tomato at the cat. That was the idea, anyway. The tomato ends up splattered against a wall. Sinri doesn't even have to dodge. "Hm. Can't blame the wind this time." she shrugs.

"Perhaps you should find someone that can teach you how to aim, as well?" - the cat jests as his head turns away from the newly decorated wall. His attention shifts to Li'Omrut. He scans the demon top to bottom. "I keep wondering - how are you going to get out of this house? You're a tall fellow. And the horns don't help."

Tiame wakes up in a reading chair in the office when Isabela and Li'Omrut start making noises. The ledger is on the floor near her feet, open on a random page as it fell down. Across the chair, beyond the table - and the remains of Sotos - Sinri is sitting on a window sill, watching Havengul's skyline appearing on the horizon as the sun rises.

"Morning...", Tiame greets everyone as she wipes drool from under the corner of her mouth. By the looks of it, she is not the early bird type. She stands up, picks up the ledger, and quietly stores it in one of her pockets. "Since we are officially squatters now, I will go check the kitchen. Maybe some dried stuff is still edible. And maybe we'll find a jar of coffee or something." She walks past the desk, and looks at the corpse once again, now that it is actually illuminated by natural light, pondering whether she missed any details.

Any chance to figure out how many days our friend Sotos is here like this? I can do another roll, if you want. Just wondering if that information would be included in the first one.

"I agree with Isabela. A plan would be nice. Definitely a good point to start figuring out what rituals would be useful for the day. But breakfast is a good starting point."

The fun of prepared casters - good to know what we will be doing, so I can get the prep done. Until then, the unused spells from the last dayremain, I believe. Let me know if you want to do it differently here. So that I know that I start with a blank slate, so to speak.

She tries to straighten her clothing, then gives up and waddles towards the kitchen. Before she leaves the room, she puts her hand on the doorframe, and looks back into the room. "Demon-boy-... man-thing...", she thinks for a moment. "Li'Ormut - that's the name I'm looking for." she smiles, satisfied she remembered this early, and taps her temple with her index finger. "You want to stay here and chat with the dead guy, or go downstairs and join the pantry raid?"

After her initial examination, Tiame feels like she has a gist of the cause of death, but decides to check on the very thing that borught her here to begin with. She undoes the pants from the cadaver and checks on the groin. She tries to pull on it gently a few times, and gives a gentle bend and twist, hoping it won't stay in her hand.

I would like to find out whether there are any abnormalities or whether it would get separated from the body at some point, it probably will be an educated guess, based on the state of the cadaver.

She looks at the others in the room, who would probably be baffled by this. "Don't worry. Professional curiosity. This..." - she points to the phallus in her hand - "is something I grew back home. The man came looking for me and paid me to do so. I just want to know whether it set in as intended."

"Mittens, would you mind cleaning these up? I prefer to not have dead tissue on my hands." Tiame presents her hands to the cat. Sinri looks at her protege, and focuses for a moment. In an instand, Tiame's hands are meticulously clean.

Sinri can cast Prestidigitation at will.

She smells them, seems satisfied, but decides to wipe them in the drapery for good measure, or perhaps just by habit. "Thanks."

She walks over to the items she put aside, and starts thumbing through the ledger. "I assume we are staying the night?"

Tiame looks around the office room. The dead body in the chair, nor the smell doesn't seem to phase her. "Well - that seems to be our man.", she lets out an emotionless statement. There is a hint of disappointment in her face, but she is already scanning the room for whatever caused this. After she goes through the room, she carefully puts aside the ledger, the silver blade, and the lockbox.

Then she comes closer to the body to examine it. Just visually for now.

Heal: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Anything that could resemble claw marks or such? I would look and try to identify any wounds on the skin or bones and find out what seems to have caused them.

Tiame waits for Sinri to catch up. She gives him a pat as a thank you while Isabela and Li'Omrut move inside through the door. She steps into the building after them.

"I doubt he is here. I briefly cased the place earlier. No signs of him. -IF- he is here, he is hiding, and we will have to put some extra effort into this."

She moves on forward, and speaks in a hushed voice now. "To be fair ... Sinri only went through few rooms. If we check each one, we will probably waste enough time to have the crowd outside disperse."

She walks around the place, looking for anything that might look like an indication to Sotos' whereabouts.

Perception, Tiame: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Perception, Sinri: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29

Not looking for anything in particular. If I had to give it a guess, I would look for some sort of notebook, ledger, or even a diary that might tell us where he spend time when he is not home.

Hello, everyone.

Sorry for me disappearing so suddenly. Real life happened. I am back now.

Tiame walks over to the demon with the runic amulet in her hand, and looks over the wounds. She draws several patterns in the air just above the skin, and the wounds start closing.

Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (6, 6) + 7 = 19
Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (8, 8) + 7 = 23

Crossing out two level 2 spells from my daily prep

"That ought to do it.", she starts walking towards the house, keyring in hand.

While she is looking for the correct key, she speaks again.

"It's not free. Don't take me for an altruist just yet. I have put several years of my life into researching a way to re-grow limbs. The man that lives here was given experimental ... treatment. A prototype.", she looks at the house, its roof still wet from the earlier rain, and it emanates a gentle vapour in the windless night. "I intend to find out what happened to him, and whether the treatment worked or not. If there is anything aggressive inside, and as long as you stand between it me, I am willing to keep you on your feet."

She twists the key in the lock. "Ready?"

Tiame produces a key from her vest pocket. "Let's see what happened here, shall we?", she mentally calls to Sinri to join them, and starts walking towards the door. She turns around suddenly. "Oh - Isabela, Li'Omrut; Liormut, Isabela.", she re-introduces the demon and the vampire as she says their names and points to each of them as she speaks.

She focuses for a short while to make the necessary preparations, and draws several runes into the air. Her runic amulet starts to emanate gentle light again. A little red appears her cheeks, and an almost invisible fabric materiases, pressed against her clothing.

Spellcraft things for book-keeping:

Casting Mage Armor and False Life, Greater.

False Life, Greater: 2d10 + 7 ⇒ (8, 5) + 7 = 20

I crossed them out in the sheet linked in the character header.

She looks at the demon and his cuts and bruises. "You alright? Need some help with those lacerations?"

"A-a-ah!" - Tiame steps back from Isabela. A hint of suspicion flashes in her eyes as she clutches her runic amulet. The runes on the amulet start to glow as she scans the vampire again in an awkward pause, pondering whether this is the same trick she saw a few years back. When she was hunting a vampire with Gisela's Cathars... and they had to defend themselves from the enthralled commoners.

"Perhaps another time. Joining minds can be a confusing experience. I'd rather keep focused tonight.", Tiame relaxes her hand as the amulet drops into place and the glow fades. She puts her index finger up. "Perhaps when we build a certain degree of mutual trust. I'd rather not let people dig around in my head. Surely, you have your own - cupboards filled with skeletons. Locked behind a set of reinforced doors. In a cave. Under a lake.", the witch smiles ever so slightly. "For now, I am open to sharing thoughts verbally. I don't mean to offend, but trust takes time. I think we're on a good way, however. The last time I saw a vampire it ended up with a stake poking from between the ribs."

She steps forward again, and looks at the house, then back towards the gate to the estate grounds. "I wonder what happened to the demon."

Knowledge Planes: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23 Not that she knows any planewalkers to reference the symbol. Or at least she is not aware of anyone familiar to her could be one, so all fair here.

Tiame realises she is displaying Avacyn's Collar when it is referenced in the conversation. She looks at the pendant and takes it into her fingers to look at it. "Oh! No, I...", she stutters for a moment. "I am not a religious type. Not in the traditional approach, anyway. I thought it is customary to wear it when people don't know you? I'd hate to be accused of being a werewolf or- Well, one of you types, and consequently get impaled or burnt at the stake or whatever these townsfolk would opt to do. I was not attacked by common folk so far, so I suppose it works."

She puts the pendant back in place and takes the other one. A circular silver plate with runic carving. Certainly not larger than her small palm. She twiddles with it for a short moment. "I am aware of entities that exist outside of this reality. Powerful beings that - perhaps watch, perhaps pull the strings - what have you. I wouldn't say I worship them, however. Which brings us to Sinri..."

She looks to the sky again. "Sneaky bugger."

"He's ... let's say he's 'not local'. But he serves something else entirely. I'm not sure what. I think THAT thing is my real-", she snaps her fingers twice as she struggles to find the right word. "Tutelary entity, I suppose. I think I saw it once. A long time ago. A few days before Sinri and I met, actually. He found me as I was about to enter the Misty Woods. He helps me explore my talents. Subtle little bastard, that one.", she smirks. "He forced me to form a pact. Promised to save my mother from succumbing to an illness. Not that I regret it. He's fun to be around. Most of the time, anyway. And we have a good relationship. He probably doesn't even look like a cat in his base form. Speaking of ..."

Tiame realises she is still holding a strand of Isabela's hair with her other hand. She examines it by touch, and once more visually. The one wrinkle between her eyebrows appears as she does so. You can almost see the gears turning in her head.

"Which Isabella was the real Isabela today? Did I see the original at all? Do you even reveal it?"

She lets go of the hair, and it falls back in place.

SM: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Hah.

"Well I mean - yes, there is more to it, but you have the bare bones. If you want specifics, you will have to ask for them. You can't really squeeze 50 years into 20 seconds of speech. I mean - I can't. I get sidetracked. Sort of."

Tiame states 50 years, but her looks do not correspond. Her face shows no wrinkles, none of her visible hairs are silver, and effects of gravity don't seem to have touched her. Perhaps it's the leather vest and the darkness of the night.

"So yes, I have nothing to hide. If you want, go ahead and ask..."

Tiame blinks - Isabella has a different facade in an instant. This sets her aback, and she ponders the situation.

"That's ... a nice trick.", she scans Isabela top to bottom and back towards top again. "A figment? Glamer? Or is that real?"

She walks around Isabela inquisitively, extending her hand, but stopping before she actually touches the vampire. She retracts her hand, but continues the visual examination.

"Sorry.", she stops. "I am very fond of magics. Natural curiosity. I didn't mean to ... ogle."

Tiame remains quiet as they approach the Sotos house. Not that anyone knows her voice here, but it clearly does not have that elderly rasp to it. When they clear the streets, her tongue untwists and is open to conversation.

"Oh I wouldn't know - I actually see this building fr the second time in my life. First time I was here a few hours ago." she shrugs, and looks to the sky for Sinri. She scans the sky, but finding a black feline on the backlight of a cloudy night goes as well as one could expect. She loks back at Isabela. Sinri will announce himself when he gets back or when something happens.

"About me? Not much to say, really. I live in the woods. One child, one apprentice. We don't get out much, and keep to ourselves. Tonight I reminded myself why I live like this. First night in a townlike this after ..." she things for a moment "... three years? Yes, that's about right. And - I get tangled in a fight with a celestial avenger. Fun."

She pulls out a crimson filled vial from her backpack. "Then again, I did manage to get this. It's the little things, I suppose.", she shakes the vial, and the liquid inside sticks to the glass. She inspects it, thinking for a second. "Angel blood. Very rare. I will need to do some research on it. Surely it will have interesting applications."

She smiles, and looks at the house. "We'll wait for our abyssal acquaintance? The place seems eerie."

I vote to wait until Li'Omrut join us near the Sotos estate. We can do some chit chat in the meantime

I assume the mob running after Li'Ormut is ahead of us, or were moving past.

The rian stops as Tiame and Isabela move towards Sotos' manor. Tiame looks above to see whether the moonlight is about to betray them on their journey. Fortunately, no. They move through the streets, covered in rags - two women and a cat, and the crowd casing the demon seems tobe oblivious. Somehow.

They merely duck out of the way for the mob armed with pitchforks and various other "weapons" to pass.

Once the mob moves past, Tiame knees down to Sinri and whispers "Get above and follow the demon. Let me know whether they are moving to Sotos' place."

Sinri takes to the skies once more tonight, and traces the demon and the amalgamation of torches and angrered men behind it.

At the house - I'm not sure whether Li'Ormut is already there when we arrive, given the move speed.

Perception if needed: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 To find the clothing
Stealth of Bluff?: 1d20 ⇒ 18 Stealth is +3, Bluff +7

"Oh it's near the docks. Two story high, relatively large grounds for it's location.""

I don't have a description, other than that, so let's assume I described the route and what I saw when I was looking for Sotos earlier.

Tiame finds whatever clothing she can put on herself to blend in, and starts moving to the dock.

Looking at Karthan's post. In this tussle, I opt to be Switzerland.

At least for now.

You're saying it like it's a bad thing.

Tiame nods at the demon, and peeks through the door to see Isabela in disguise, and beckon her to come closer. Once she is at the door, she opens wider and talks in a hushed voice, so that both Li'Omrut and Isabela can hear.

"There is a house near the docks. It seems to be abandoned. Nobody saw the owner in a few days. The place reeks of foulplay, but we can hide there for the night, hopefully. I will go there. Want to come? There might be... erm - detached carnivorous genitalia involved in the situation. Or not. It was a complicated experiment and I'm not sure about the outcome. That's why I'm here tonight to begin with.", she shrugs.

"It might be an interesting night in town after all. Who's in?"

She pauses, and gives them both a determined look. "Just an afterthought. If you want to drain me of blood and ...", she looks at Li'Omrut - "... whatever it is that you do... Let's just get it over with. Or you can try to. That way, we at least figure out the nature of our relationship."

Nono. I have a plan of action in mind. Will specify in the morning. Work kept me busy today, so sorry for stalling. Whether the rest wiol join in is up to them.

Have fun!

Inside the Merchant Guild Kitchen, Tiame sighs heavily. "Great."

Demon in the kitchen, vampire outside the door. And Tiame between them. An interesting night out, one might say.

She looks at Li'Omrut. "Well, the old crone outside is the vampire in disguise, apparently. At least she announced herself, so either it's a trap, or she is genuinely trying to help. I'll chance it. No other way out of here, anyway."

She thinks for just a moment. "Do you have a cape or something? You are kind of tall and ... not hard to point out in the middle of the street. Can we do anything about that? Or should we just put a bucket on your head, or something? We need to move fast."

Sinri notices the crazy old cat lady and sends a mental message to his protege.

Tiame suddenly stops looking around the kitchen, and raises an eyebrow.

"Umm - apparently there's some old crone outside looking for her cat. Being really conspicuous about it. She either didn't notice the commotion outside or ... her head is a little tilted. We might need to get rid of her."

She realises how that might have came out, and adds "Quietly."

...

"And without bloodshed."

Tiame eyes the kitchen area. "Tiame. We can have snacks later. I don't think this is a good time."

She looks around for the exit, and pulls out a coiled copper wire. She puts it to her mouth and whispers something into it while her using her other hand to draw glyphs into thin air.

"Sinri, come check the back door, please."

The feline perks his head up, as if hearing something, and moves along the roof of the building to the other side to inform Tiame of the situation.

I am trying to build a character focused around the spell magic missile and can't decide what class to use
