As a 14th level arcanist, who also has access now to greater teleport and a group that knows how to get Absalom, I just was wondering, would there be a scroll of Gate that I would be able to buy...or should I just wait until we hit level 17 so I can summon it just for giggles and crap. I mean against our enemies, not necessarily against the party...
Specifically, as a DM, what is your ruling on if one were a Shaman who ended up in contact with the Elder Mythos by his wandering spirit and then decided to summon up/call up on Elder Mythos creature like say a Wendigo or a Star Spawn of Cthulhu? Does that mean said caster has to eat the entire body of a creature or just a part of it for the Wendigo? What about sacrificed humanoid?
Admittedly I've read enough to know an arcanist can only get an arcane discovery through an exploit. That's not a problem for me. What I am wondering is COULD I select this specific arcane discovery through the exploit more than once? IE could I get TWO cleric spells from the domain list IF I selected it twice via the arcane discovery exploit?
Dear lovely CS people (Who might not see this due to the fact Shayara says you're doing company training); I have been waiting now for over a week (even counting 2 days for Saturday and Sunday). I have not yet received an email telling me when the pending status of these orders will be filled. Should I be concerned since it's said to wait 1-7 days. Or is there some other problem? Please let me know. Thank you. Sincerely,
I want to first of all again thank Shayara (and in a lesser way Katina, mostly because they are both the awesome), for helping me solve a problem. Now I have a question moreso than a problem: Are orders that are being processed done in a specific way; IE if it's pending do that mean it take X amount of days for it be done or is there another layer being involved? I only ask because I'm curious as to approximation of delivery/sending off of stuff.
Dear Katina and/or Shayara (who are both awesome), I recently purchased a Visa Gift card that had money on it. I tried using the store because Amazon doesn't always carry everything I need at a reasonable price (looks @ Weapon Master's Handbook being over 200 dollars...) However when I tried to enter my payment it hung and I didn't get anything resolved. I have since removed the items from my cart. Is there anyway I can have this resolved or do I need some other method of payment? Sincerely and with much love to the wonderful CS people, Blaine Seitz
I'm looking to start SOME kind of table top RPG (possibly Pathfinder but who knows?) since my current Saturday game is REALLY not happening. So if you have some free Saturdays, don't mind coming to Morgantown, (especially to Four Horsemen Comics and Gaming at the Morgantown Mall), from noon until probably 5, I'd welcome that chance. Thanks!
I have a tielfling sorcerer in my group. I'm not sure what bloodline he has but I do want to give him something he might enjoy (besides the chance to change a faerie dragon into a Lunar Dragon ...which he doesn't know will happen but will. Long story). So I was looking at robe of arcane heritage. I wanted something that would a) be a robe, b) increase his bloodline powers by 4 and increase the caster level for his bloodline spells by 2. I'm just having a hard time pricing it out. So...help?
Yes folks I had 9 players. I was doing my whole "journey up the river on a barge/flat bottom boat" when after the combat with a river nymph/fey, some fey-ish encounters and finally the river pirates...it dawned on me. 9 players is just TOO damn unwieldy. So now I have two groups. My only question is this: Should I put in more encounters or dial it back to normal if the PCs are now each 5 members?
So I've got my party set: 1. gnomish cavalier on a wolf
So yeah...big group. Now I've set it up so they all signed on with a named mercenary group who are helping a noble (Taldan) who has a claim to the land thanks to a Brevorian cousin. So now they all have jobs (except the gnomish cavalier and the halfling rogue). Now I have everyone rounded up and ready to sail up to the Stolen Lands. But I'm wondering...should I introduce the dangers to this party via river pirates or not... I kind of want to, but not sure. Opinions would be GREATLY welcome. Also I plan on having the PCs eventually take over the role of explorers/helpers in fighting the bandits. So kind of why I want to do river pirates too...
1) I'm considering that my party make up (around 6-8 people) will probably NOT want to be from Restov or Brevory for that matter. (At least I don't think they will...) So should I consider changing the campaign traits offered in the players guide. 2) I kind of want to give them a little extra help if they might need it in the form of a "fallen" celestial that's basically a willow wisp with celestial powers that grows. Thoughts?
I'm especially looking for players that might like to try different systems other than Pathfinder RPG. (Though honestly I like that system better but I'm not the one running) We could use some newbies, oldbies, hell just warm bodies! The point is this: My current group is dissolved. We need new people. My current player will probably be DMing as I'm done for the time being. Anyone interested in joining, contact me at nighttfall@gmail.com Thank you!!!
About Lini & DroogamiConditions/Notes: Barkskin on Droogami 40 minute duration from entering room with cold iron golems. The gnome Lini has a way with wild creatures, but seems eccentric to people—as evidenced by the bundle of sticks she guards closely. A faithful snow leopard, Droogami, stalks near her. Background:
Lini always had a way with wild creatures. More than once, her enclave was threatened by some great bear or razor-clawed cat, yet each time she soothed the beast and sent it on its way. The snow leopard Droogami was the first animal to threaten her, but Lini beseeched the cat to help her instead, and they quickly became companions. In the years since her departure from the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, Lini has collected more than a dozen sticks—one from each forest she has visited. These sticks are a road map of her experiences, and each holds a wealth of memories for the gnome druid. |
