I am where I need to be on the map, although now there are two people near the gates, so I am not sure if I am needed now. I still can't figure to move myself on the map. I've tried cutting and pasting, but that only moves him back to the same spot. If anyone can give me a hint, that would be great, for the future.

Also, if you see a post appear as Halkale Timarson, I'll usually change it, but someone could see it go up. Halkale is my PFS character and I sometimes forget to swap it out.

"I'll volunteer to hide behind the barracks and close the gates." I am having trouble getting the map at work, so put me in the bottom right hand corner of the map, behind the building I assumed was the barracks, I'll keep only my weapons and armor on, leaving my backpack and other such items in the barracks. That will reduce my encumbrance enough that I can cover more ground per round.

"Perhaps if we have the gold sitting on the tables, they'll see it and it will distract them from everything else. They aren't expecting any resistance. What if I and someone else, hid behind the buildings and after they come in, run to close the gates? Might take us out of the first part of the fight, but it would prevent escape."

Is there enough room for me to gain some concealment if I go up on the wall at say I through K 25? It would put me close enough to be in Point Blank range, plus attacking from higher ground (I think), so I would be quite deadly.

Thomas nods his head with Jarvis. You said they come an hour before sunrise, I saw a place or two that might work for an ambush, if we are so inclined. You know, if ambushing doesn't offend anyone's code... Thomas grins.

Thomas follows the group in, glancing around the main hall to determine if anything threatens his group of companions. This is a well made post. My father was a woodsman and part-time carpenter, he taught me to recognize good woodwork.

Thomas looks around and nods to his traveling companions. Well the easiest part of our adventure is done. Where do you think we should start?
Man, I waffled back and forth on the ranger or paladin. I picked ranger because I really love the class and it fit well with the story I wanted to tell. But I almost hit save on the paladin setup too.. @DM Cuc--I'll update the archetype in my character sheet. I should have had it done last night, but ended up with a migraine so I didn't get online last night.
I would like to submit this character for the campaign. He will be an archery based ranger. Here is a little blurb about him. I am still working out the rest of his stat block, but some of it is in the alias. Thomas Chambers is a tall and lanky human, who hails from Southern Brevoy, in the forests west of Restov. He was the son of a woodsman and his home was simple, but filled with love. He heard the call to arms to retake the Stolen Lands and has joined the expedition. He tends to be a little shy as he's not used to being in crowds. He has long brown hair that is pulled back at the temples and fastened with two braids, then hangs loosely at the neck. He has light blue eyes and has lines around them from squinting in the sun. He is quick to smile, often forgetting that serious times may require more serious attitude. He will be taking the Rostlander Campaign Trait with the Reactionary Combat Trait. You didn't mention if you allowed archetypes, but if you do, I'd like to take the Woodland Skirmisher archetype, which is found in the Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Magic. If you'd prefer to stick with only core, that's fine, I am comfortable with core ranger, the Woodland Skirmisher (I believe it's named different in the Campaign setting) adds a lot of flavor for my backstory. His ability scores look like this:

I can watch the rear as far as the light goes, but I hear pretty well, so keep the sound to a minimum and make sure to whisper if we are getting close to something. Halkale turns and faces toward the back glancing forward to see where he is going, following the rest of the group.

Halkale begins to follow Link back up to the fork keeping his eyes and ears open for any sign of goblins.

Halkale clears his throat before he speaks. If someone could keep a light up, I don't mind going first. I can track some, so that might help. He then pulls his bow out, strings it and nocks an arrow. In addition, goblins are my favored enemy so I get bonuses to dealing with them. |
