On the fifth flick, the shocker lizard jumps for it and grabs the coin from mid air. Then tumbles to the ground with his prize. Holding it up for all to see.
He stays on Desseer's shoulder watching with interest.
He whispers in Desseer's ear, "Can I break character with him?"
"Familiar mode activated!" He zooms to Desseer's shoulder and rubs into his cheek.
"Thanks for the ride! What will you be doing? Will it be fun for me too?" He zooms from on person's shoulder to the next looking around.
The little lizard grabs onto Myrianna's leg. If she shoos him he will let go.
He slowly seems to process and explain better obviously focusing on the explanation and not playing dumb or like an animal, "There are many of these, you can do it two ways. Or at least I only understand how to do it two ways. Direction or location. If you know the location you envision it very similar to a teleport spell. If you don't then you tell it which direction you want to go and it will take you to the closest one in that direction."

He looks up enjoying the pets and squeaks out, "The Dragon's Roost. Through the Obelisk to Arthur."
The little lizard just shakes his head to Desseer. But soon seems to dance in a trance toward Iris. He curls up in her lap.
"No I just call them looking glass." The little lizard tries to explain without using many words.
He points at the obelisk and dances around.
"The looking glass, through."
"The Sly, call me. Be you who?"
"Catching a ride... heading home. Now saw interesting folk, you."
"While ahead you should stop!" The little lizard spouts out in its little voice. "Shock you shall I?"
Desseer:
You know all about shocker lizards. This is an evolved form of them. A Lightning lizard, similar but more powerful. CR 7.
It blocks your spell. The lizard moves its head watching you.
A little shocker lizard shoots from here to there as if by lightning. He watches Desseer,Myriana, and Iris with interest. Eventually coming to land before them...
He pops his head up from Lectrum's sack and states, "You didn't need my help, I will help when you give me a treat or when it's a big baddie. Or if you get bloodied."
Round 1 He scampers out of the debris in the side of the room and skitters up onto Lectrum.
He responds to Ramada walking over to him quickly and putting a reassuring hand on his ankle, "It not your fault. Magic was at fault." "What is plan? We go in hole?" he simply asks trying to figure out what they want to do next.
He climbs out of the hole and returns to the group, "The elf is... grief stricken."
He jumps down animated by the fire. As he jumps from one foot to another acting as if the flames are burning him. Once the group focuses on the water threat he slips off quietly to the hole.
He states as he slips from his pouch, "I can scout ahead!" He zooms forward at an alarming speed and waits at the entrance to the foyer...
Poking his head out from his pouch he shakes his head, "Nah, he is merely affected by a mutagen, be glad you didn't sit on the throne... wait... no you should go try!" He quickly retorts, "Hey don't blame me, I have only done my best to protect you. You walked us into this mess."
The little lizard shakes and offers up, "Not sure what you plan to do but you only have my damage reduction for a few more hits today."
Round 3 Sly emerges from his pouch and crawls up onto Lecturn's chest, taking some of the damage for him.
He pokes his head out from the pouch and has a look, he warily states, "I don't know. That is concerning. Though it looks like they have a full ecosystem... not good..."
He reaches down and scoops up the small lizard in his arms. "Is this little fellow yours, then, Lectrum? If so, may I run some tests on him?" He quickly interjects, "Of course you can!" "Don't worry, I promise he won't be harmed - I've already vivisected enough shocker lizards that doing so again wouldn't teach me anything new." The tiefling addresses Sly next, giving the little lizard a nightmarish grin and speaking in a tone that one might use for a pet dog or the like. "Hello there, little fellow! My name is Nikolay! Did you know that your biogalvanogenesis reflex operates through a series of postsynaptic electroplaque stacks? You didn't, did you?" With an amazing knowhow which is strange to Lecturn he gives a serious response, "Yes that may be true of shocker lizards and my lineage may be along the same as theirs though I believe I am more related to a feline than a lizard." He smiles back at the professor not intimidated in the least in fact he seems almost boastful.
A green yellow lizard about the size of a lean cat emerges from Lecturn's bag and begins scurrying underfoot, investigating each of you.
"Yes, same but different!" The little shocker lizard replies as he scurries around and checks out the new places!
You hear a muffled small voice come from Lectrum's pouch, "Left, left, left, left!"
The little lizard pokes it's head out of its pouch shakes and closes the pouch again.
He just grins showing off his pearly white teeth.
In a blur of movement he is on Tatyana's shoulder. A bit crankily he peeps out, "Oh come on that was the perfect instance to say Friday, he would have thought he was asleep for four days!"
10 pm to 6 am: Lecturn, and Sly
Sly would join Henric one day, then Tatyana the next. Sleeping the opposite shift.
Kimberly glances down at the lizard, Hello She has a bit of a quizzical look on her face. she then glances at her satchel then back at the Lizard I know it said Hi, <pause> Ok I'll ask, Are you doing this? In his little voice he screeches out, "Doing what?" after a couple of seconds, OK, OK she then looks to the Lizard what is your name? He pauses a moment and says the words slowly, "I am Sly, you?" As he says the words he points to himself and then to Kim. Eventually she realizes that others are speaking. She stoops down to try and pick up the Lizard. He lets her pick him up. At Lectrum: "I don't know you, I think this fellow is yours?" and she hands Sly back to him. He lightly growls and then states, "We are friends, allies... Yup!" As she tries to hand him to Lecturn he jumps from her grasp and goes to investigate the rest of the group. Climbing up them and getting in their gear with little phrases like, "Oh shiny!" "What does this do?" "Look I can fit!" "Ohhh what is that?" "This smells good"
Inside of the house. Out from Lecturn's satchel the little yellow green reptile pokes out his head. Flicking his tongue in and out as if smelling like a snake. He then quickly climbs out and down Lecturn's leg. Once he hits the ground he zooms over even faster to Kimberly. Stopping in front of her, he smiles and looks at her. He quickly waves his hand and squeaks out, "Hi!"
As far as auras would a positive energy aura be something? Yes you can have a positive energy aura. What were you thinking for your abilities? Oh, I will be bringing Sly into this one! Anyone want a shocker lizard familiar? Yes you are welcome to be a lizardman with 10 race points or the other variants your choice. Powerful Build: Basically works as if you are Large but only when advantageous to do so. Abilities: Increase from the base creature as follows: Str +4, Con +2, Int -2, Cha +2, Wis -2. Animal companion does not work for Sly, but he could be your familiar. You could also blow a feat and get him as an arcane caster. Possibly using Familiar Link Oh no! I found and even better one!!! Spark of the Uncanny! I think some class archetypes gain familiars. So witch, sorcerer, wizard would be the easy choices. But I know a paladin that gets a familiar and it shows its true form when you get to 5th level I believe. I am sure other classes have it as well.
"I know we have a little one on the way, but I can't wait for the heir!!!" He says oozing just thinking about it.
Once the two of you mount your dragons, Sly would shake his head at the delay of the update that Morganna had so obviously pointed out. He would look over at Windrider and state, "It would be nice to have an heir to give affection upon."
"We will investigate, thank you for looking. It doesn't make sense. Where would have they all gone?" The bronze dragon says in response obviously perturbed he doesn't know and at the whole situation.
He sorrowfully raises his head and shakes it side to side, "No brother, no need. I tried to warm him or her up. Though I think it was already too late! A sad tragedy that one of our own has suffered such neglect!" He slowly gets up and lethargically steps forward. Leaving the egg alone. "Let us be into the sky and away from such sorrow." Sly states and walks slowly with Arthur by him accepting any touch or hug given to him. --- On the platform of exiting he slips on his 'backpack' which has a saddle on it too. Then slumps to the floor waiting for Arthur to mount.
"I hear your words girl, but I know you would prefer, saying it lightly, me to have a different shape. I have my true form but you don't want that. Fox or panther, fox or panther, fox or panther..." He continues to say it as he jumps off the bed and then as the door opens for him he keeps walking.
He looks like he is weighing something in his head. At Nicolette's reason. At Matthew's question he smiles with an overly toothy grin showing off several rows of circulating teeth. Then he says in his small reptilian voice, "Yes, but it takes time. I will leave you two alone as I work on changing. How about a fox OR a panther?"
He comes back from the pool and jumps up on the bed, not wet at all. Then in his little voice says, "You can call yourself human, most beings would see you that way. I am not even sure what to call you, an Ifrit would work but still isn't right. You are human and infused with fire... I need a library to properly research it. Most familiars can talk, though I talked before. Nicolette, do you have problems with lizards?"
"I am not evil, just misunderstood." He says in reaponse to your question Nicolette in his small little voice. At the whisper of a bath he exclaims, "Yes! Yes! Bath! Bath!" Runs down Matthew's side and jumps into the water.
The little lizard crawls out of the pocket of the white robe and perches on Matthew's shoulder. Then in his little voice states, "That means I don't have to hide. YAY!!!"
"Me, oh I am nothing special. I just had a few favors due to Gordon. He and I were actually caught at the same time by the black falcons." he replies in his small lizard voice. "I like shiney things and adventurers find all sorts of treasure. I will also tell you stories of Gordon the Efritii Blooded Sorcerer. Also once a week I can produce something nice, like the clothes Matthew wears."
