Expressing an interest in this. I'll need to modify Vamir, but other than that, I'm more than happy to app him. Also, hey, another Argent Voice! xD
Amori, half-elven bard and would-be freed slave. I'm still debating getting an archetype, but I don't see many that appeal or seem appropriate for what I have in mind. I mean, I could go with Dawnflower Dervish, or the like, but it would mean he's more melee-oriented.
Diplomacy, Bluff, and Sense Motive, mostly. He's not very intimidating, just pretty friendly and willing to negotiate with a lot of folks. That said, Versatile Performance is a huge boon in that field, letting me replace certain skill bonuses with other bonuses. I'm still debating on whether to take an archetype or not. Considering Arrowsong Minstrel, if we need extra boom, but not sure we will.
So I found an archetype that definitely appeals, but it might be somewhat controversial. I'd like to choose the Argent Voice Archetype, from the Adventurer's Guide. GM Dak: I'm thinking that maybe he has half-remembered parts of the Song of Silver, which give him those powers, if you're fine with that. I'll go into more detail in his backstory if you are okay with it.
Well, that's a relief. Still considering whether or not to change the celebrity to a different archetype - maybe diva - and how to spend the last two hundred gold. Other than that, though, Vamir is done. EDIT: I do have a question on how you'd want to handle the Famous feature of the celebrity archetype - I was thinking it would only be effective in certain sections of Kintargo, at least until he got famous enough for it to cover the entire city. Would that be how you want it to work?
Vamir Stareyes, a celebrity bard and natural face of the group. He's not done yet, but I've finished his backstory for now.
I'm interested. Thinking maybe a Forlorn elf bard of some description... To answer some of the Misc. Questions, I'm in GMT-5, but I should be able to post almost any time, given my current state of life, save when I'm asleep. I'm not currently participating in any PbP games, though I have multiple experiences under my belt, including being on both sides of the GM screen. |
