"Zak, heads-up!" Doc calls out as she reloads her dueling pistol and then unloads on Red...
Happy New Year! I hope your celebrations have been as wild or as tame as suits your preference :)
"On it!" Doc hollers back to Zin. She reloads her dueling pistol and hustles to within a few paces of Blue, taking aim directly at the zombie's head. "Out of the way, maggot farm!"
As her companions continue to unload on the zombies Doc takes a moment or two to reload both of her weapons before taking aim at Orange with her dueling pistol.

Hey folks, I hope everyone had a good holiday if you celebrate or a good Saturday if holidays aren't your thing! We finished up the last of our festivities a short time ago so I'll get caught up on things later today :)
Huh, I thought I'd posted all that earlier but I guess not. Oh well, it's all filled out now.
"That's it, come on in close..." Doc nods as more zombies approach. She once again takes aim with her dueling pistol - this time at White.
Doc then raises her second pistol, the dragon mouth, and fires a round at Yellow.
"Wanna eat me? Gotta catch me, first!" Doc hollers at the zombies as she falls back, opting to stay somewhat out in the open rather than risk getting trapped in the nearby alley.
Doc quickly takes a step back from Blue as she raises her dueling pistol and fires a shot...
...and then quickly reloads it.
"Uh...we just came from the theater, Little Bit," Doc blinks. "We can go back in but I dunno if there's enough windows for us all to shoot from!"
"So what're we doing?" Doc hisses to Booker and Zakzak. "Run'n'gun? They've all seemed pretty slow, so long as you don't get yourself in a corner a person can probably keep ahead of 'em..."
"Yeah, we need to see what's going on out there and make a plan, though having at least one of us somewhere sniping's probably a good idea no matter what," Doc agrees as she too pulls out a couple of minor healing potions and chugs them down.
She looks around for windows or any other way to see outside that doesn't involve having to open one of the outer doors.
"Gah! Son of a beezin' flippin'-!" Doc exclaims as this time, the burst of negative energy gets the better of her. "At least we put paid to that," she sighs as she takes a moment to reload both of her firearms. "We oughta get back outside, sounds like there's still folks out there in trouble!"
"Oh geeze, I think that other dancing zombie we blew away was his wife!" Doc exclaims as the realization hits her. "But Booker's right, ain't a good idea to mess with the Lady of Graves. 'Sides, roaming around aimlessly and eatin' folks ain't most people's idea of a good 'experience'!" Noting that Zakzak isn't looking so hot either, Doc tries to slap some bandages on the squirmy little gobbo...
...and then falls back a few paces, not eager to suffer another barrage of foul energy. "Eat lead, you mouthy zombie!"

Work has been a booger but I've finally got some time off. I'll get caught up on the game shortly.

"Whoa, what the heck!?" Doc yelps as Orange collapses and then explodes in a dark burst of energy; she manages to weather some of the blast but it still stings her skin. "Your wife!?" she yells at Blue as she stows her dragon mouth pistol. "Who even are you and why're you here wrecking the place and eating people??" Noticing that Zindarel is looking a bit ragged around the edges, Doc hops over the railing to land between the elf and Zakzak. "Hold still a sec so I can keep the rest of your guts inside ya where they belong," she advises as she quickly tries to patch Zin's wounds.
"Nope, don't think so!" Doc calls out as she takes aim at Orange with both of her firearms. "Sorry Zak, this'll sting a little!"
She quickly reloads her dueling pistol.
I hope those who celebrate it had a Happy (US) Thanksgiving or a Happy Thursday if you don't. There are many things that I'm thankful for and one of them is all of the great people I have the privilege of playing Pathfinder with - like you guys :)
"Hey, get away from the elf!" Doc hollers as she takes another step up the stairs and takes aim at the Red Zombie with her dueling pistol.
She fires a single shot and then quickly reloads the firearm.
"Tch...this just isn't right," Doc remarks with a grimace at the macabre scene as the zombies close in. She raises her dueling pistol and fires directly into the rotten skull of Pink and then attempts to clock them in the knee with the reinforced stock of her dragon mouth pistol for good measure as she reloads her pistol.
Doc then takes a page out of Booker's book and moves to the opposite set of stairs, hoping to keep some distance between herself and the hungry dead.
Sorry folks, went out of town for a few days and completely forgot to give notice! Back now and working on catching up on my games.
"Hah! Pretty nice find," Doc whistles after they inspect the contents of the safe. "I'm kinda partial to 'Problem' and 'Solution' so one of you guys should probably take this'n. Zin, you want it? Catch!" She lightly tosses the firearm to the elf and then moves to watch at the door. As she does, she looks around for a moment and then picks up a plate. "I'll toss this if it looks like things are startin' to go south," she whispers. "The noise might be enough to distract them long enough for someone to get over there and get the door open."
"Huh? A lock?" Doc starts, snapping back to reality. "Sure, lemme have a look," she nods as she pulls out her newly-acquired tools and kneels down to have a look...
...and though it initially proves stubborn, Doc quickly gets a good feel for the lock's mechanism on her second attempt!
"Hey, better safe than sorry," Doc remarks if Rickard offers any protests. "Write me up an IOU if you want; assuming we all live to see tomorrow then I'll get you back for the ammo. If we don't, well, guess it won't matter too much, huh? Anyway, sound fair?"
After stocking up on rounds, Doc bids their friend Rickard goodbye and hops across the gap to the Scothwel residence. She dusts herself off and has a look around.
"Damn, you're right Zak - nice digs they got here," Doc remarks.
"Locked? I've got a solution for that," Doc remarks as she holds up her dragon mouth pistol. Looking more closely, you can actually see the word 'Solution' emblazoned on the side of the barrel. But Doc then quickly chuckles and holsters the weapon once more. "Nah, just kidding. Not every problem needs a solution like 'Solution'. But I *could* probably wrangle that window open if I had a set of tools. Mister, you got anything like that kicking around your shop?"
"Athletic? Nah, you're right on that one," Doc replies with a wave of her hand as she ties Booker's rope around her waist and carefully makes her way out the nearby window. "But you know, I used to climb a lot of trees and stuff as a kid. Got pretty good at the whole balancing act..." Once outside, Doc attempts to carefully walk across the rope like a circus acrobat...
Doc watches and waits as Zindarel and Zakzak attempt to make the crossing first. "I gotcha covered," she reassures the pair, twirling her dueling pistol. "And I also got a rope in case one of you fall. Oh hey, maybe we should've tied it to you first before you got out there on the wire..."
As a heads up I'm going out of town on a mini-trip this weekend and probably won't be back until late Sunday evening. Please bot/delay Doc as necessary :)
"Hah! No, don't believe they will, Spoonman," Doc chuckles as Zakzak offers to share his 'ammo' with her and the others. "But I gotta say, must be handy to be able to use whatever you got lying around as ammo. Might have to look into something like that for myself, assuming we don't end up like those folks out there," she jerks her thumb towards the street. As she considers the available options for getting into - or at least closer - to the theater, she frowns. "Talk about a rock and a hard place. Wouldn't be my first time doing a little shimmy along a line but climbing over fences and up canyons with a rope is just a little different than hand-over-hand over a crowd of hungry corpses!" "Then again, making a break for it might not be any better. If anyone's alive in there they probably got it all boarded up, could take time to bust in or for them to let us in, all while those things are coming for us," she continues, clearly thinking out loud. "Much as I hate to say it Booker, I think the clothesline is the better pick of the two, especially if it means more guns and ammo. What if a couple of us go over first and then anchor the thing real good before you come across?"
"Looks like tonight's performance must've been dead boring," Doc quips as she peers out the window. "What, too soon? Well, times like these you have to laugh or cry - and it's hard to get anything done while you're cryin'." She glances around at the other huddled patrons. "So...this sorta thing normally happen around here?"
I thiiiiiink it just denotes that you buy the ammunition for that particular gun in units of 5. Both of Doc's guns list 'Firearm Ammunition (10 rounds)', for example. And Zakzak's spoon gun doesn't even have a listing for standard ammunition at all because it literally fires spoons and other junk.
"Hey hey, paws off my pal!" With the zombies now closing in Doc knows that using her scatter ammo ain't the best idea - not unless she wants to patch up the holes it'll leave in Booker and the others. She flips the bayonet around to grip the dueling pistol end and likewise does the same with her dragon mouth pistol, clutching the reinforced stock like a club.
Then, she takes aim and fires a single shot at Green.
"Nobody's eating anything except lead and steel!" Doc huffs as she swings her arm around to fire another round from her dragon mouth pistol at Blue. Then, in one fluid motion, she brings her other hand around to slash at Red as she reloads her pistol.
"Stay down and quit makin' more work for me!" She then falls back a few paces.
As chaos erupts in the bar, the young woman who'd been sitting at the table with the others lets out an audible groan as she reflexively draws a pistol with one hand and a bayonet (also attached to a pistol) with her other hand. "Aw hell Booker, I told you my feet were a-tinglin' this morning! We should've left town while we had the chance!" Action Clarification/Thoughts - Into the Fray:
Despite her irritation at being put into such a predicament, Amara 'Doc' Featherton has clearly dealt with her share of trouble in the past, as she's on her feet in a flash and takes aim at Purple with her dragon-mouth pistol, which belches a spray of pellets as she pulls the trigger.
And though both her hands are occupied, Doc somehow finagles another round into the pistol without breaking a sweat or dropping anything.
Ran out of time yesterday and I'm working tonight but I'll try to get Doc's profile finished and a post up over in Gameplay at some point this evening!

"Okay, Chuffy has enough of this dung-pile!" Chuffy decides to make a break for the exit, though he does try to stop and pull Reta out as he goes. After all, there's probably a good reward for saving the Chief, right?
Hey guys, I've been feeling a bit run-down lately and have spent a fair bit of my free time sleeping and catching up on sleep. This is my weekend to work though and so I'll aim to get a post done either before I head to work tonight or perhaps later in the evening if my shift isn't too busy; feel free to bot me though if necessary. "Hey! Yous put Chief down!" Chuffy continues trying to shank the overgrown bird...
...and maybe actually does it some damage, finally?
Chuffy begins to hack and cough as the dust and smoke from the fire cloud his vision somewhat. He tries yet again to stab the overgrown dinner in the poop chute...
...but it's hard to tell if he's hitting his target or not. "Maybe should just leave, let fire cook chicken thing???"
Taking advantage of the big pawed-chicken-thing's distraction Chuffy slips up behind it and attempts to jam his dogslicer where the sun don't shine! "REEEEHEHEHE! Chuffy gonnas stabs you goods!"
Deciding to take advantage of Reta drawing the Chicken-Thing's attention by sticking an arrow in it, Chuffy quickly slips past her and under the house in an attempt to circle around behind it...
"Sure, mebbe find BIG egg...BIG egg mean BIG snack," Chuffy nods, licking his lips hungrily. He too attempts to stick to the shadows as the group approaches the nest...
"Hah! Told you Chuffy could do it nine times," Chuffy smugly remarks as he emerges from the little shed, holding up the three gourds for all to see. "We got, uh...lots now, right? One for all of us?" He shoves one of the gourds into his pack and then holds the other two out for whoever wants them. "Chuffy think BIG shed should be next! Gonna go take a peek," the eager goblin grins once the gourd thing is sorted out. Without waiting for any real input from the other, Chuffy tries to creep closer to a window or crack of whatever in the main house to get a better look...
"Get fire-booms? Chuffy can do it! Chuffy can do it nine times!" Which doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, but hey - 'A' for enthusiasm, right? The little goblin motions for the others to stand clear and then he begins to try and creep forward into the shed, eyes on the prize(s)...
"Oh man, with Squealy Nord on our side we be...um, we be...we be...STUPID OGRES NOT STOP US NOW!" Chuffy cheers, completely forgetting for a moment to be quiet. "Other pig wanna sleep? Eh...her loss. But Chuffy kinda get it. Sleep is good," he adds with a shrug. He looks around. "We go peek tiny hut next?"
"WHOA! Fattest piggy EVER!" Chuffy narrows his little beady eyes and licks his lips. "Fat make everything tastier..." Still, eager as he is to commence the stabbinating, he glances at Poog, Pig Whisperer of Zarongel. "We stab now or wait?"
"Stabbing always a good choice," Chuffy sagely agrees. "Poog get honors since Poog being brave for a change!"
