Sarcon, you know, you just got called a a brave hero and the next thing you do is go murder a couple of youths -_-
Also, maybe offer the statue to Crystal as a gift? Im sure she would love that :)
And we are bashing her religion for a bit of public fame :(
I cot called the favorite physician XD with that buisness should be booming :)
Actually, thinking of that, could i get a circumstance bonus to my weekly paycheck for the added buisness? Maybe +1? a measly +1 gold -_- man i am getting snively...
I havent even begun to look up my equipment and weekly plans yet :(
I get the feeling that i wont have enough extra gold for anything and what i do have, ill be using to prepare.
No magic item from me :)
But after we take the keep... You will be very busy ^_^
No, Victor. Wait for them to come to you. Why send away perfectly good bodies when you can have them come to you? I say accept the gift of revenge that they are so willing to grant you.
just curiosity, at what level can you create undead instead of just controlling undead?
Out of character, i get the feeling we just made a lifelong enemy out of any remaining cultists XD
been enjoying the game for sure :)
Really enjoying how Sarcon has become a loose cannon, its quite funny and refreshing.
I am waiting on baited breath to see Victor become the ultimate Necromancer, and if i ever hit lvl 10, ill join him X)
And im eger to attempt this keep. If its sucessful, it will widen the gap between the goodie-two-shoes (whos campaign i still havt seen yet btw :) its a total surprise)
Edit: and Doc is now lvl 3! With a significant boost to knowledge skills, expect to have a nice income boost XD
btw, i left finding out where stuff is (k. Geo and survival) to Sarcon :)
XD
k. Ill focus on the knowledge rolls like originally planned and you take the craft wonderous :)
And you do have an infinitely bigger and probable better spell list, thats for sure :)
So is that what we are going to do? Take the keep at lvl 3?
Sounds good XD
i had better make sure we are REALLY prepared XD
also, i had intended on taking the Dilettante feat, giving me +2 to all Knowledge skills but i can take the Craft wonderious feat instead. The thought of a 10 int cleric trying to be a crafty character sends chills down my spine :S
besides, i am already crafting lots for this party ^u^
Well thank you Victor, for the show of good faith. But alas, i am a man of principled science and would not know of such magics as scribed here. Instead, you keep it, and use it at a time i am unable. Doc hands Victor the scroll back. As for that other matter, well, i think it best we leave that till we are in a more private setting. Preferably at my residence. I dont think i can use scrolls :(
Crystal:
I apologise my dear! I realize misjudged your motives, and in doing so I have offended you. As such, the fault is all mine. I would imagine that the days events have made me snappier than usual, and to make up for it, i shall craft you something valuable and unique.
As night fell and everyone lay down for the nights rest, Doc did something peculiar. In his corner of the tent he took all of his equipment and sorted it neatly in a pile. But then instead of laying his head down to sleep, he slumped against the wall and clutched his heart, then lets out a gasp before his head saggs forwards. He then remains motionless...
If you inspect him:
The Doc has died. His body is dead. Oh no! What happened?
6 rounds later
Spoiler:
Docs eyes bolt open looking around him at his companions.
You know, you shouldnt touch other peoples things. You should also let the dead rest...
so no ones willing to wait and let me heal Sarcon? Even though we are walking out into the middle of a potentially hostile camp?
Before leaving the cave
Well done. I wouod prefer to have some time to fix up my patient here before we leave as he is still very injured, but if the rest of you are eager to be moving on, then i guess we shall. As for sneaking that zombie into the city, i have an idea.
After we are teleported back
Doc goes around collecting a few sets of cultists clothing, then he starts covering the zombie from head to foot an trying to leave no skin uncovered. Next he pulls out his set of manicals and chain, cuffing the zombie an handing the trailing end to Sarcon.
There. We have a cultist prisioner. That should satisfy any curiosity.
On the trip home (if w are at that point yet)
Doc slides up to both Crystal and Victor, 1 at a time and privately.
Victor:
I have been thinking. I may or may not have a place for you to conduct experements, do work and possibly even have a few prisioners or corpses, all away from prying eyes and in secrecy. If you wish for such a collaboration, meet me at my private residence sometime this coming week.
Crystal:
I noticed you, my dear, claimed the lions share of the bounty back there. I would expect to have my share when we get back to The City!, i intend to use it for crafting a manner of curiatives and healing crafts. Supplies of which may just save your life in the future. Remember that.
Seekers of secrets apparently :)
I was just surfing the goods and services tab on the d20 site, but i agree. It is neat! (even if it is slow and overpriced like all mundane healing :p)
Ok, now i finish off patching up Sarcon. You guys mind waiting for an hour IC while i work the slow, cool way?
Also, when you say ruined, does that mean covered in runes or wrecked?
So i took a shot at both Victor and Sarcon here X)
I should be able to do everything here in 1 round.
I have drawn my suplies, applied Troll Septic, poped in a barbarians chew into his mouth and placed smelling salts under his nose.
Resourse expended so far: 1 potion of CLW, Troll Septic, Barbarians Chew.
rules:
Troll Septic
Spoiler:
A witch's brew of troll blood, powdered plant extracts, and alchemical binders, troll styptic is intended as a field treatment for wounds and bleeding, particularly where magical healing is not available. This powder is stored in small packets, and when applied directly to wounds grants a living creature fast healing 2 for 2d4 rounds, as well as closing any open wounds the subject has or receives while the styptic is active, preventing ongoing damage from bleeding. This is a painful cure and requires the target to make a DC 15 Fortitude save to avoid being sickened for the duration of the fast healing.
Barbarians Chew
Spoiler:
This bitter red chew comes from dried leaves of a stunted bush found in northern climates. It stains the teeth dark crimson but also increases the duration of barbarian rage entered into during the next hour by 1 round.
Smelling Salts
Spoiler:
These sharply scented gray crystals cause people inhaling them to regain consciousness. Smelling salts grant you a new saving throw to resist any spell or effect that has already rendered you unconscious or staggered. If exposed to smelling salts while dying, you immediately become conscious and staggered, but must still make stabilization checks each round; if you perform any standard action (or any other strenuous action) you take 1 point of damage after completing the act and fall unconscious again. A container of smelling salts has dozens of uses if stoppered after each use, but depletes in a matter of hours if left opened.
NO! Sarcon, i told you... Sigh Doc lets out an exajurated sigh before kneeling over Sarcon Crystal, Fate, you deal with the remaining zombie, Victor, do something. I got work to do here. Sorry Victor XD
Doc then, rather hurredly, pulls out a few suplies, his saw beside him on the ground.
Alright Sarcon, you are not going to like this...
Doc pulls out a small packet of powder from his kit, rips it open and starts rubbing it in and on Sarcons wounds causing him to grimace painfully, but it seems to be taking hold as the cuts beging closing.
You gain fast healing 2 for 2d4 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 rounds but must make a DC 15 Fort save or be sickened.
Next he pops a tablet in his mouth and one under his nose, causing Sarcon to waken.
Welcome to the land of the living there Lad, make sure you chew that one thourally. Looks like Victor wont be getting any zombies today. gave you a barbarians chew. Your rage lasts 1 round longer
XD Sarcon you idiot, back off a step and drink the potion! Me and Crystal will delay them for a moment.
Then he gets an evil look in his eye..
Heh. Sarcon the strong, getting a little girl to fight off his enemies. HA!
Doc then begins to hack at one of the undeads limbs
Saw!:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Zaw!:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Doc draws both his Saw out and another tincture before rushing beside Sarcon, attempting to interpose himself between as many of the golems and his nearly dead bag of meat he calls an ally.
move action to draw a potion of CLW, move action to move and draw my weapon at the same time. What action is it to hand the potion to Sarcon? Can i just hold it out for Sarcon to grab on his action? Look out there Sarcon! Here, drink this while I hold them off a little bit. Remember. If you die, Me and Victor get full dibbs on your body. You KNOW what that means...
And still quite behind :( Ahh! Is this the true temple to Asmodious. Im sure hes got some tricks or defenses up his sleev...
Before he can finish his sentence, the statues attack!
K. Arcana?:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Sorry, low quality post :(
Doc helps Victor with his pile of bodies. Cutting off extra bits here, sawing off limbs there.
When Sarcon gets a face full of fire, he grumbles about something like "loose cannon" and "time to get to work" but then Victor goes and heals him first. Now he is grumbling something about "needing TWO scrolls" and "amaturish work."..
When Crystal dissapears:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
So, as someone with the ability to die then come back to life, i may have just figured it out! Sarcon might have a bit too much "life" in him :s
if he fails, i have a good idea next :)
Teleports you say? I think i might have figured out how it works. It would appear that when something is placed on the altar, it will attempt to cook it, then scan or identify it to check its state, when it is deemed "ready" or "acceptable" it will then teleport it, most likely inside the altar.
Doc watches Sarcon as he clambers up onto the alter.
i think i know what must be done. Tho i am dread to do so, i may just have to die here. Ill let sarcon have his fun first...
XD always expect the party to do the exact thing they are not to do and never expect the party will do that one thing their supposed to do :p
Assuming that Crystal will tell everyone what she is seeing, Doc will reply what do the auras look like? If you describe them i might be able to offer some insight. K. Arcana aid another:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16 you get +2 to your roll
How can you tell its a red flag if theres fog everywhere? XD
My evil plan:
Ok, i was going to save this for later and drop a surprise on you but oh well :) heres the gag.
Spoiler:
i was going to hand Sarcon a smokstick and tell him it was a sunrod and that since he was point, he needed to carry it for the team, then wait for him to "light" it XD
Oh well :)
Sarcon isnt the most logical of people. Remember how he dressed himself in the garments of a sacrifice, poured blood on himself then took a nap on the altar? Or how he steals sanditches from orphans?
I say keep at it big guy! It makes for an interesting and funny story and we ARE the bad guys ^_^
The Doc stammers a bit We could. Or.. Well. You know.. sighing, Doc draws his saw and heads out the door, trying to find the cultist that has yet to finish casting (going by memory if he cant see him due to the fog). He then attempts to hack a limb off..
To Hack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Hack n Slash:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Miss?:1d100 ⇒ 50
but he seems unable to land a decent blow in the fog, and curses a bit.
hello. Just a warning.
My internet at my house has gone out and my landlord is making no attempt to fix it. I may be without home access for a while. Maybe...
If thats the case, I have to go across town to the University (im there right now) or make a stop at Tim Hortons :)
Posting may/may not be sporadic in the immediate future.
The greed part was meant at us, the players XD While I agree that we came for the armor, but what proof do we have that it even exists behind that door? No, the enchantment I speak of is the compulsion to go to this hut and to attempt to enter this altar so singlemindedly as to care not weather we anger an entire village with no escape or plan figured out. Why did we arrive to the assumption that it was in here to begin with?
No, I suggest that we go with the cultists to their dinner and attempt to talk to them, gain more information so that we know that we are even looking in the right direction. And possibly have knowledge of how to open that thrice-cursed door...
Worst case, we anger them at the dinner, or we anger them here. nether option I like, but unless you have other ideas, I figure our time has run out.
Well i am still at a loss as to how to enter into the chamber or as to why we are even so interested in such a chamber in the first place. Yet i am begining to suspect an enchantment (possibly greed? ',) might be in effect? I suggest that we leave the statue alone for a while and head to the chieftans hut and discuss things with him?
Yet before we head over might i suggest we get our story straight?
Well. I am at a loss. The only thing i can think of is that we need to make a "propper offering" and maybe that might change something? Crystal, i shall defer to your expertise on what a propper offering might be?
Oh. I also believe that Sarcon just raan out the door while still wearing th burnt offerings clothes. We may soon have a problem on our hands...
Hmmm. Lets see if anything can be done about this lock. perception check:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 Doc is specifically looking to se if he can slide his saw inbetween the door and its casing and cut the lock off (a sunder maneuver maybe?). Or if he could jam something in the lock and force it to turn?
Also, Crystal are you sure you are ok with this? This is essentially desicrating an alter to your patron.
Generally when i go to the store and get to the door, i run head first into it, then realize rather quickly that i have to pull the stupid door...
However in Sarcons case we could make an exception... You know if he doesnt specify that he uses his hand to open the door... ',)
I've had almost no internet the last 2 days :( best guess is that its the snow and rain.
There are broken trees EVERYWHERE. I've heard numbers in the millions of damaged trees in the city... And 1 sprinkler going in the snow XD
Doc, having finished his conversation, follows the others into the tent, thingie...
Inside as Victor chases out the cultist, he chimes in carefull now. I do believe we want to be on good terms with them when we depart.
Also, Crystal. This is your territory. Is it acceptable by you to do this to a temple of your own?
Regardless. Doc then takes out an extract of Reduce person, drinks it then attempts to follow Sarcon.
Gahk! Wait up a little bit first! I am trying to ferret out a bit more information first. This priest hasn't been seen for 12 years. For all we know he could be dead, or un-dead. Even just that tiny bit of information could be the difference between us going in there and killing or re-killing the priest and having the entire village turn on us or setting Crystal up as the Speaker-for-the-Priest-who-Speaks-for-Asmodius (a corpse in a chair...) and having a small village bent to our whims, at least until the heroes destroy it...
I thought for sure I had sense motive... oh well....
While Doc cared little about the religion, devulging such knowledge would not do much to help him here.
Doc also knows all too well the pains of a life without the luxury of food, warmth and air.
You say you have time? Well, why don't you sit with us a while and share a light meal. I would love to know a bit more about your village and your priest before we enter and possibly offend.
I personally wonder about this priest, when you say he locked himself up, do you send him tribute of food and wine? A normal man would perish after such a time in solitude, but I know not how much greater this priest is than a normal man.
As/if they sat down, possibly sharing any food or drinks, the Doc takes out a flask and drinks from it. (Cognoagen, +4 Cha, -2 Dex. Lasts 20 min.) Deplomacy:1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 13 + 2 = 31 I would also be very interested in this plague you speak of, being a doctor myself.
I'll be the, ah, healer. I'll heal them so you can stab them again :)
I might also administer to them some bayleaf, to numb the pain, of course...
Lucky crystal! A whole village of religious dupes just outside the city for you to muck around with!
Just think of the possibilities you could do with a small temple out here, a temple with burning bayleaf incense...
A ghoul eh? I just know that he is undead-ish, i didnt think of what kind of undead :)
You know, when the Heroes get back to town and need some "healing" you could always send them to my Docs clinic. I am sure having a limb hacked off would give them ample haste to trying to find a restoration scroll XD
and, you know, i would love to hack an arm or two off of a hero >.>
Well, im not quite sure if we are in a bar or just near a campfire in the middle of the woods...
We originally met up in a taver so thats why i thought that :)
Hey all. The armor is fine by me :)
In fact, i wouldnt mind going "last" in regards to getting anything as long as i get a steady trickle of gold to make stuff (that being my main way of supporting everyone).
BUT i will keep my eye out for an adamantine bown saw >.>
Sorry about fudging the dice roll, and if it had been on anything but the mundane crafting, i would have just used the new roll :(
Mundane crafting is complex, convoluted and time consuming! :(
Crystal is correct, i halved it because i only worked half a week (2.5 days)
And i just handed you your potion sweetie @_-
Using a sizable chunk of his wealth Dock will bring along more of his "Sergeons Attire"
I am going to spend 150gp for the privilage to take my Doctors Outfit out of my clinic (and combine it with my leather hide, so i am just wearing the one item)
Grimancing as he finishes up his patent. He had an emergency surgery to attend to and it was causing him to run late.
Hmmm. Late. I hate running late. All too often speed is the deciding factor on wether someone lives or dies. I will have no time to change out of my surgeons wear today.
After finishing up with his emergency surgery, Doc collects up his tools and heads out at a brisk pace to the tavern they had all met at earlier, and were meant to meet at again tonight.
Upon ariving and apologizing to the pub owner Apologies for my appearance, there was an emergency surgery. Poor Phillip had called me up complaining of a bad toothache. He chap had contacted gingivitis in his gums. The only option was to remove his lower jaw! Still. He will survive as a result now.
After excusing himself, he heads over to the group, he is wearing a blood splattered white smock and blood red gloves that almost seem to be dripping...
Apologies for my tardiness, i had to attent to an emergency surgery for poor Phillip the Pastor. I fear he may not be giving any sermons anymore. Such a pity. I see everyone is here except Fate? Now what might be our planned excursion for the morning? I fear I have not had any oppertunity to ferret out any leads this past week.
Doc then retrieves a bottle of ale and hands it around the group, a red handprint on the side....
And an extra potion to Crystal Potion of CLW
Once at home, he heads down into his basement and stops halfway down the hallway, next to a certain flower decal on the wall. Pressing in the topmost pedal reveals a hidden door, inside resides his sinister labratory and torture room.
Inside he begins working on his next craft.
Crafting and day job:
Craft potion of CLW (DC 7):1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
DC=5+2 CL
I created 1 potion of CLW. Cost 25gp, 2 hours.
Craft potion of CLW (DC 7):1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
I created a second potion of CLW. Cost 25gp, 2 hours.
I think i did that right. Now to try my hand at a spider sac...
I drink an extract of crafters fortune, then attempt to create an accelerated Spider Sac.
Price=300sp.
DC=20+10
Craft Spider Sac (DC 30):1d20 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19
Result of 34x30=1020.
1020/300=3.4
So i complete it 3.4 times faster than 1/week... So that means it took me 2 days to finish...
I pay 10gp and have spent 2.5 work days so far...
Mundane crafting is complex! I dont think i am going to craft anything mundane anymore
Finally, i spend the rest of the time doing a day job (1/2 of a week)
Amputating arms...:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
18gp/2=9gp gained from working this week!
Total.
Gained: 2 potions of CLW, 1 Spider Sac, 1lb of flour, extract of Crafters Fortune, Mwk tools (K. Local)
Weight: 3lb
Cost: 101.02gp
Phew. That was about as hard as i expected. Now i can meet up with the rest of the crew and continue on with the weekend :)
That will be in the next post tho...
Edit: The last 2 numbers changed on me.... Originally i rolled a 17 and a 9. Why it did that, i have no idea. But i really dont want to re-do all that so i am just going to say i fudged the rolls, just this time...Are you ok with that?
Doc is going to be having a busy week, and i have to write everything! His week will look like this:
1. Do shoping, 2. Craft stuff, 3. Day job with the left over time, 4. Meet up with the others.
I might write things out of order but thats how it will go.
Also, i must apologise. This last week has been incredibly stressful and posting in pathfinder has suffered.
Rising early Monday morning Doc sets out, intent on getting the items on his list. First je heads to the baker and purchases a small sac of flour (2cp, 1lb). He then hunts around until he finds a small shop containing what he is looking for, an old map of the City! And its surrounding area (Mwk tool. K. Local. 50gp, 2lb) and a piece of parchment containing the last secret needed for his extract of envigorated potions (extract of crafters fortune. 10gp).
After hunting around to no avail to find a sutable abjuration for Crystal he gives up and heads for home.
this post is for filler and fun:)
Doc had planned to head to his clinic but inatead found himself outside his home. Sighing(wait, Doc doesnt breathe) groaning he resigns himself to head inside for some relaxation, light experemintation and finally to shuffle off the mortal coil, so to speak.
Insise he pours himself a cup of wine Hmmmm. We never had that celebratory bottle. Ah well. I will bring it for our next excursion.
Sitting in his comphy chair by the fire he begins to write a list.
[b]*research abjurcation elixir for Crystal.
*continue research project for envigorated potions. cant believe i forgot to get the crafters fortune extract :S
*restock healers kit.
*Shop for:
**sac of flour.
**map of the outlying area.
*Create:
**spider sacs.
**Curative Elixirs potion of CLW
*Remind Sarcon to come back into my clinic to further patch him up.
Afterwards, Doc retreats downward into his basement, past the secret door to his underground labratory and torture chamber and to the musty cellar. Inside is a pool of stagnant water, and at the bottom is a submerged coffin. Climbing into the water, and sitting in the coffin, the man known as Doc exhales. He then takes his last breath before sinking below the surface...
XD
I thought of that. except I don't have infusion :(
going for my current "almost undead" approach I went with spontaneous healing (eventually going for healing touch so I can heal that way as well).
But I do know of it :)
So i am just going to compile everything to do with crafting potions here, for ease of reference and so we are all using the same rules :)
Craft: Alchemy. +12
With Crafters Fortune. +17
Profession: Doctor. +9
Spellcraft. +8
CL. 2
Crafting Potions:
Magic Items/Magic Item Creation wrote:
To create magic items, spellcasters use special feats which allow them to invest time and money in an item's creation. At the end of this process, the spellcaster must make a single skill check (usually Spellcraft, but sometimes another skill) to finish the item. If an item type has multiple possible skills, you choose which skill to make the check with. The DC to create a magic item is 5 + the caster level for the item. Failing this check means that the item does not function and the materials and time are wasted. Failing this check by 5 or more results in a cursed item.
In addition, you cannot create potions, spell-trigger or spell-completion magic items without meeting its prerequisites.
While item creation costs are handled in detail below, note that normally the two primary factors are the caster level of the creator and the level of the spell or spells put into the item. A creator can create an item at a lower caster level than her own, but never lower than the minimum level needed to cast the needed spell. Using metamagic feats, a caster can place spells in items at a higher level than normal.
A character can work on only one item at a time. If a character starts work on a new item, all materials used on the under-construction item are wasted.
Recap:
DC= 5+CL.
I have to meet all the prerequisites to create potions.
Min CL is equal to the level required to cast the spell.
Can only create 1 item at a time (note. Its 1 at a time, not 1/day)
Brew Potion wrote:
You can create a potion of any 3rd-level or lower spell that you know and that targets one or more creatures or objects. Brewing a potion takes 2 hours if its base price is 250 gp or less, otherwise brewing a potion takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. When you create a potion, you set the caster level, which must be sufficient to cast the spell in question and no higher than your own level. To brew a potion, you must use up raw materials costing one half this base price.
"Can a character with Brew Potion create a potion of any spell he knows simply by adding +5 to the DC, even without preparing it?" No. When creating potions, the crafter must prepare and expend the spell used by the potion as part of its creation. This is an exception to the normal rules that allow a caster to skip one of the prerequisites for crafting an item by adding +5 to the DC.
(I know you cant create a potion with a range of personal but i cannot seem to find it :S)
Mundane Crafting:
Skills/Craft wrote:
The basic function of the Craft skill, however, is to allow you to make an item of the appropriate type. The DC depends on the complexity of the item to be created. The DC, your check result, and the price of the item determine how long it takes to make a particular item. The item's finished price also determines the cost of raw materials.
All crafts require artisan's tools to give the best chance of success. If improvised tools are used, the check is made with a –2 penalty. On the other hand, masterwork artisan's tools provide a +2 circumstance bonus
on the check.
1. Find the item's price in silver pieces (1 gp = 10 sp).
2. Find the item's DC from *Table: Craft Skills*.
3. Pay 1/3 of the item's price for the raw material cost.
4. Make an appropriate Craft check representing one week's worth of work. If the check succeeds, multiply your check result by the DC. If the result × the DC equals the price of the item in sp, then you have completed the item. (If the result × the DC equals double or triple the price of the item in silver pieces, then you've completed the task in one-half or one-third of the time. Other multiples of the DC reduce the time in the same manner.) If the result × the DC doesn't equal the price, then it represents the progress you've made this week. Record the result and make a new Craft check for the next week. Each week, you make more progress until your total reaches the price of the item in silver pieces.
If you fail a check by 4 or less, you make no progress this week. If you fail by 5 or more, you ruin half the raw materials and have to pay half the original raw material cost again.
* *Accelerated Crafting* You may voluntarily add +10 to the indicated DC to craft an item. This allows you to create the item more quickly (since you'll be multiplying this higher DC by your Craft check result to determine progress). You must decide whether to increase the DC before you make each weekly or daily check.
Recap:
Pay 1/3 cost.
Time= sp/(DCx dice roll) per week. For each multiple, reduce the time by that amount.
Fail by <5 means no progress. >5 means you ruin half the materials.
Increase the DC by 10 to craft more quickly.
GM:
Mundane crafting is notorious for taking unrealistic crafting times. As an example, alchemists fire. Dc 20, 20gp.
Thats 200sp.
With my craft skill of 12 and rolling a 10 i would get a result of 22. Then multiply by 20= 440.
That means it would take me a 4.5 days to craft it, saving me 13.33gp.
Can we houserule that this is reduced a bit? Either double the check result so that it would take 2 days to build an alchemists fire.
Or use the gold value instead of the silver piece value and be able to craft them at approx 2/day? This would fast-track mundane crafting quite significantly but expensive things like a Mwk Greatsword (DC 15, 50gp and DC 20, 300gp) would take 4 days with similar skill ranks and rolls instead of the 2 months it would take otherwise.
And thats with me investing 2 skill ranks, half a feat, a class feature, 75gp and using my best stat.
Also, whatever you decide, let it apply to the good heroes as well ;)
There. Thats compiled :)
Ill wait for the GM to weigh in before i do anything else.
@Crystal. I cant make a potion of blur. Sorry! Ill make something else for you instead :)
about the campaign tab, i read it but i forgot/missed/glossed over the double day job check :)
Doc was silent most of the way home, engrossed in visualizing what he needed to do. When Crystal offers him 25gp and asks for a form of distortion he takes the money and agrees.
I will have to do some reserch but yes, I believe I can create something that will benefit you. I am just suprised the lovely Crystal woukd ask for something to hide that beauty. blur is a lvl 2 extract so the cost will be higher, but I will bill you for the extra afterwards :)
So iI a just figuring out exactly what I can do/not do in regards to crafting and will get everything for this "week" figured out in the next few posts.
Yes. Defently taking requests for crafting, as well as a few of my own (ahem. Spider sac). If you guys wish to spend a portion of your wealth on such items, I can craft for you many a potion and many a useful tool.
I'll have to check exactly how much and how long it will take but I imagine I'll be plesantly surprised :)
So I'll add 88 gold on oto my sheet and you guys can make requests :)
