Continuum:

Ok..thanks. He actually took the advantage of Exceptional Ability (magic) so it would bring it to a 7...and RIZZENMAGNUS did not say it was not possible...if I need to I can change it and re-spend the karma.

Assensing: 6d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 1, 5, 5, 2) = 20 - 2 sucesses

Pat finds a comfortable place to sit and looks to be dozing, but actually slips into astral space and scouts the area. He also once again checks the auras of the team to make sure they are all what they seem.

"No..no..just from an ancient movie I remember watching as a child.."

Yup...the enchanter...Tim?? lol

"The Daghda is what some call me, but I think you could call me... Pat?", the older man says with a thick Irish accent.

He laughs at this as if he had just made some sort of joke...but then when no one else joins in he gives a short cough and grins.

"Umm, yeah, Pat will do"

"Well I can cast a multitude of different spells...from illusions to mind control and more...physical cantrips. Beyond that, I do not have many skills..."

The older man looks around the room and heads over to the refrigerator to gather up a drink.

Where are we?

Pat takes a look at his comm to see where their patron has left them.

"Maybe I can help him regain his senses!"

Casting Force 6 Detox on Johnson.

Detox: 15d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 2, 3, 1, 6, 1, 5, 2, 2, 4, 3, 6, 2) = 44 3 successes
Drain: 10d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 1, 5, 2, 5, 4, 6, 3) = 39 5 sucesses against (f-6)

"Huh..well I got a place here close by...not much of a place, but should work...if that is ok with the rest of you?"

"Yes indeed. I am feeling a little fatigued. Good work Mr. Continuum..now let's get our Johnson out of here."

Leaning heavily on his staff, Pat shuffles his way out the back door.

That would be 14...but do you add any focus or power focus you have?? I thought the rules said something about that...

Speaking quietly in some foreign language, Pat cast a spell to take control of the Agent's minds.

"I think going out front and standing there quietly would be a very good idea!"

Force 6 Mobmind spell:

Casting - 15d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 5, 3, 5, 4, 6, 3, 1, 1, 3, 4, 1, 5, 3) = 53 5 successes
Drain: 10d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 2, 5, 6, 1, 3, 2, 5) = 38 4 successes vs Force 7...so 3 points of fatigue??

So if I wanted to catch all the agents how much force would I need to use...I believe I could go up to Force 15, but of course, I would like a much lower number...lol

Just want to run this past the GM first. I have Mobmind spell...can I use it to target just the cops and have them return to their offices? How many are there? Just really want them to all go out the front door and mill about as we exit the back.

LOL same here...thanks! The one thing I thought was that I could cast the invisibility over all of us, not just me...although I do not see it in the book, it just says Line of Sight...

Pat stands up and nods to Continuum.

"I will try and take care of this...everyone just sit still and say nothing...perhaps we can confuse their senses and simply be passed by."

Ok, going to try and cast Advanced Invisibility..it has been a while since I have cast spells so may need some help!! lol

Holding his hands up and showing magical lightning crackling between them, Pat says, "Always chummer!"

Pat still sits and eats while the others continue to talk. He finishes his meal and sits back with a cold beer and nods as the elf lays out their pay...and smiles at his numbers!

The sudden change in the man's demeanour surprises Pat so much that he takes a quick look in astral space to make sure some spirit had not suddenly taken over the man.

Assensing: 6d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 1, 2, 5) = 25 4 sucesses

Assuming that all is fine, Pat leans forward and scoops up one of the cred sticks.

"Count me in." he says and leans back to see what the others decide to do.

Pat watches and listens to the others who had been invited to this...well...amateur-time meeting. Hell, if he did not need the money, he would have simply turned around and left, but all things being equal...well money almost trumps anything.

Their Mr. Johnson was either a brilliant manipulator, or this was the saddest sitdown he had ever been to. Well, at least there was food and drinks.

Reaching over, the bald elder man helps himself to a greasy calzone and mug of beer.

Standing to one side of the entry, Pat moves his sight into the astral plane and assess the room.

Assensing: 6d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 4, 4, 6) = 25 3 successes

3 Successes:

The presence and location of alphaware cyber implants.
Whether the subject’s Essence and Magic are higher, lower, or equal to your own.
Whether the subject’s Force is higher, lower, or equal to your Magic. A general diagnosis for any maladies (diseases or toxins) the subject suffers.
Any astral signatures present on the subject.

Pat was not really watching the tried when the call came. He was busy trying to make something to eat out of the remains in his tiny fridge. The chirping took him by surprise, as his com had been silent for the better part of a month. Reading the message, he smiled.

"Ahhh..deep-fried calzones. Just what the doctor didn't order!

Grabbing his staff and slipping his pistol in the quick-release holster under his right arm, the old man headed for the door. The rain outside did not seem to bother him much as he hurried to the Grotto. He watches the streets with eyes and astral senses as he moves quickly and determinately towards the eatery. When he enters, he shakes the moisture off his old style duster and scans the place.

Boo!! lol
