This apology has been a long time coming guys but here it is. Im not gonna go in to the nity gritty of it, but I ran away instead of facing my problems and I am sorry for that. You all deserved better. I am truly honored to have had you all as my players. Damn to hear that it was one of your favourite games Aviz? That is seriously high praise.

Sorry guys, I am only human, and not a very good one at that.

Okay so here is the situation. I got in to a bad place and got struck by the business / technical bug. And then my anxiety kicked in because I owe so many people posts. And then it got worse and worse. So I am working my way through my backlog and am just just getting to the top. I feel awful but I can't do anything but say sorry again. I'll get a post up when I get home in two hours.

I'm a bad DM, sorry guys. You have my deepest apologies.

I lost a whole month and I feel so so horrible about it. You all deserve better

New Tides

As Jaska, Kragor and Lucien approach the Quartermaster, she looks up from her books, a small frown crossing her face. She listens to their requests before nodding and beginning to move about the store.

"Well Jaska I can sell you basically any common Item you could like to name, and I'll even do it cheap, just fer that pretty face. And Lucien I can sell you any weapon you desire, just name it. And because you two are leaving us, I'll even knock half off!" She grinned before turning to Kragor.

"You wait behind when the others are finished shoppin. I need a word!"

She turned back to the two looking to shop, the grin returning to her face. "Now loves, what can I get fer yeh?"

Any item that is in the core book that would make sense to be in this store is here. Also there is a chance that some rare items could be also. At the start of your posts just list any rare items and ill let you know.

After Shopping

When Lucien and Jaska leave, Grok shuts the door to the stores behind them, before turning to stare at Kragor. She stands there for a minute, unsure, before throwing herself at him and wrapping him in her arms, beginning to cry.

Awkard Fade to Black

As Kragor crosses to the other ship, he pats his pocket, feeling it surprisingly fuller than before, after Grok had given him her parting gifts.

Kragor gets 120 GP.

From One Line to Another

Sasha begins to hunt for Ratline, but doesnt have too far to look, as she soon spots him climbing his way to the crows nest on the Rahadoumi ship. It seems the little line worker will be going along with you all. Ratline raises his hand at Sasha before beginning to slide back down to the deck. "In'it bloody brilliant? A new ship, new adventure? Thank the gods, thank the gods!"

New Ship Same Roles

When the Crew is all aboard and the ships have parted ways, with much shouting back and forth, Scourge orders you all to collect yourselves by the main mast, where Lieutenant Captain Plugg resides.

"Well well well, welcome to the Mans Promise one and all. New ship but same rules. Only brake em and I'll spare you the lash and go straight for the cat, do I make myself clear?" The well spoken Chelaxian man asked, looking each crew member in the eyes as he did. "I won't be as kind as our dear Captain and I have instructed Mister Scourge to likewise treat this ship. Now, if you have any worries or complaints, please, please come share them with me. And while you are at it, please tell me which side of the f*#@ing ship I should dump your body off, after I finish making you wear your own entrails as a scarf. Master Scourge, the wretches are all yours!"

"Aye Cap'n!" The cruel man grinned and saluted Plugg, before turning back to the crew. "Right you pack of useless wretches, time to get to work. You! Greenskin and your little minime halfwit, you two go scrub the bilges. Last pricks left it real messy. Full of blood and s+@% it is. See to it." He gestures for Kragor and Bleepos to go below before turning to Lucien and Jaska.

"Little Boy Blue and the whore of Gozreh, you two scrub this f+@$ing deck till I can eat off it. I don't want to see a hint of blood, a hint of bile or anything on it. Make. It. Shine!"

He turned to Sasha and sighed, as his eyes met not only her but Ratline as well. "Well f#~%. We got the rat too. Well you two can go struggle with that mess of a rigging. We hit the b~+@! so hard she is in a right tangle. Hopefully one of you fall and I am put out of my misery even just a f##%in little. Mind ya don't hit me though!"

[b]"And you, the chick with the flu, go help that useless drunk c*@# in the galley. Captain wants a huge feat so slaughter one of them sheep in the holds and make it f!@&ing delicious. GET TO F%&%ING WORK!"

You can not shirk your duties. All tasks require Con checks and are harder than before. New map isn't ready yet, my bad on that. Any questions, comments or concerns, please drop me a line.

College and Laptop troubles. My bad. I'm doing my best I promise. Should be back on track now.

Okay Vex. I'll move us on in a few minutes.

Thanks Aq. And I'll do that just as soon as I figure how. Sorry I haven't done it earlier

Dawn rises bright and early over the moored silhouettes of the Wormwood and the Mans Promise. As dawn paints the sea in bright reds and yellows, the ship bell tolls calling you all groggy headed from your sleep. The ship comes alive and the Crew scrambles to gather on the main deck, before the captured crew and Officers of the Rahadoumi brig are dragged up on deck in a ragged line.

Captain Harrigan steps out of the group of Wormwood Officers and the crowd falls silent as he begins to speak. "Right then lads and lassies, we have some business to attend to, but first," he turns to the group of captured sailors. "You all lost yer fight fair and square, but I'm a fair man, let it never be said I ain't," the Crew of the Wormwoods laugh loudly and the Captain grins, before continuing, "So here is my offer to yeh, swear yer service before my mast and you're free ta join my crew. So whats it gonna be lads?"

Several sailors step forward at this, barely waiting a beat, wanting to save their own hides. As they do, Scourge moves forward with a knife and cuts their bonds, before pushing them towards the Crew.

"Good good, glad ya had some sense. Now..." He turns back to his own Crew, "All right, you scurvy tars! You’ve done a right good job by me—we’ve got a second ship now, and she’s quite a prize from the looks of her. But I still have only one crew. So here’s the plan—the Wormwood will sail on to our planned destination with our new shipmates here, while Mr. Plugg will pick a skeleton crew to sail the Man’s Promise to Port Peril, where she’ll be worth a pretty penny as salvage.“As for these fine fellows here”—Harrigan gestures at the remainder of the captured ship’s crew—“some of them will no doubt be worth a hefty ransom from their families back in Azir. And for the rest, if the life of a pirate’s not for them, they can spend the rest of their lives at sea!”

With that he strolled towards the captured crew, walking up and down the line, before stopping before a short woman who glared at him defiantly. He grinned at her as his hand tightened round her throat and fear swam in to her eyes. He dragged her towards the railing and her struggle became more pronounced. As he lifted her bodily off of her feet, her heels began to drum against the boards of the deck, before she was thrown overboard, to crash down with a huge splash in the waves below. He watched for a moment, as she sank slowly below the waves, kicking and screaming. As silence fell, the Rahadoumi exploded forward to swear their allegiance to the Wormwood.

Scourge moves towards the party and smiles at each of you darkly, before beginning to speak. "Alright ladies and gents, get yer things and join our merry little Skeleton crew. I'll see you onboard in 10 minutes. Get to it!"

The Tide begins to change and new opportunities grace the horizon.

Hey hey hey all! How goes it? Back in the driving seat, though worried about taking over for Red now. Please everyone be extra awesome to Red, he is the best bro a dude could have. So here we all are, getting ready for the second leg. Everyone still in?

The skeleton crew of the Man’s Promise includes Mr.Plugg, Master Scourge, Owlbear Hartshorn, and all of the surviving members of the Wormwood’s original crew of sailors, as well as the PCs, Ambrose Kroop (whom the captain is glad to be rid of ), Conchobhar Shortstone, Rosie Cusswell, and Sandara Quinn. You have just enough time to go collect your gear and buy some things from Grok if you like.

Glad to be back!

Sorry guys was giving Eskiline time to post, then I got busy. Eskiline is stepping back so we will continue on.

Battle Lines

As the party began to ready themselves through various means, the ship came alive in a rush of activity and preparation. Sandara helps Esmarelda tie her hair back after her own style and takes a moment, squeezing the woman on the shoulder comfortingly, before moving off to help others.

When Mateo finds Grok in the stores, she looks at him for a moment, before sliding the money for the crossbow back over the table at him. "Plenty of pieces up on deck. Grab one and keep it. If you live, consider it a present, from me." She grinned before fitting him with the rest of the gear he requested.

When Mateo makes his way on deck and begins to speak to the others, Plugg cuts in, looking around at you slowly. "All of you take a ranged weapon and be ready to hit them. Spellcasters do what you must. If one of you hold back the Captain will not be pleased. Get to it!"

Sand moves to stand beside Aviz, leering out over the water in a perfect imitation of the man. "Watch out for them when they get over the side. You know your way in a fight, not all of them do." She glanced at the man before moving away in to the press once more.

Drawn and No Quartered

What feels like no time at all later, Scourge lets loose a sharp whistle, signalling the ships were coming within distance. Visible now, fleeing for her life [url= https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b9/Three-masted_Hoeker_2.jpg] the heavy three masted ship[/ur] the name, the Mans Promise, emblazoned on her arse, comes in to view.

I'm going to speed up this part of combat slightly for the initial encounter so bare with me.

You are gaining on the ship quite quickly, you have only 4 rounds before they react. Post your rounds, followed by initiative. Round 2 will see those who have a longbow or a Heavy Crossbow be able to shoot the other ship. Round 3 will bring Light Crossbows and Shortbows within range. Round 4 and you could probably throw a javelin if you like. I will have the map up for next update. For now I'll post the stats of the enemy below, so you know what you are shooting at.

Rahadoumi Sailors- AC 14 Touch 11 Flat-Footed 13

Cadj are you using Unchained Monk or regular Monk? Not that it matters over all, just wondering.

Sap specialist huh? Cool. Interesting build. :)

As always guys, any feedback, comments, questions or worries, let me know. Here or in private, totally up to you.

Well... it is done. I am sorry it took so long, but we are back. Get yer lilly livered arses into my game thread ya wretches!

;)

The Merging:
So I have finally decided how I am going to bring you two together and here it is, both teams have been present on the ship since the start but have been kept relatively separate due to Team 1 being on the Day Shift and Team 3 being on the Night Shift. Both teams have been filling their respective positions, during their assigned times. So then on to story specifics,

1) Character Connections - Everyone who has interacted with a specific NPC keeps their bond with that NPC.
2) Owlbear - Aviz fought Owlbear and Mateo bet on the fight, earning the group an extra 200 GP as part of the party loot.
3) Reefclaws - Amara recieved the Mark of Besmara instead of Hodge during the trials involving the Reefclaws.
4) The Bilge Stabbing - Mateo was the one who got jumped in the Bilges and now bears the mark of Besmara in the same spot as G'Nosha did.

Mark of Besmara List - Amara, Aviz, Esmarelda, Mateo.

Dark Dreams and Dark Waves

Amara:

Clear seas and skies, a warm wind filling the sails. Amara stood with her eyes closed, her face tilted to the sky, sun warming her cheeks. The Sapphire Queen rode low in the waves, her holds packed with the spoils of her last prize. The sweet sound of music and laughter drifted up from the lower deck of the Schooner and Amara felt herself smiling.

”A fat hold and calm seas, aye tis what we all want pet!” Amara turned to find a beautiful woman with raven hair, sitting on the railing beside her, smoking a pipe. She smiled brightly, tipping back her hat and looking out over the sea.

When Amara turned to look in the direction the woman was looking, her face fell. The sea was rising and the skies were darkening. Out of the tempest demons flew and sea monsters rolled

”It isn’t all clear sailing though luv. Just remember that when the winds shift, you look to those who support you. And keep the faith!” The laughter was gone now, screams filling the air.

As the wave crashed over the ship, Amara burst awake, tinkling laughter haunting her waking, the smell of blood and sea spray thick in her nostrils.

Aviz:

Waves pound the dark wood hull beneath his feet, wind driven rain stinging his face as Aviz strains at the wheel, turning Avenging Stars nose into the swell. The ship rises up the brow of the wave lightly before bursting free, the dark horizon coming into view for a brief moment before the quick black Clipper plunged down into the trough, only to be pounded by a smaller wave coming off the port bow.

Aviz hears the unmistakable sound of splintering wood and feels the ship lurch against him, feeling the wheel begin to slip, before…

”Steady love. Hold true. You can do it!” The raven haired beauty that threw her side against his shouted over the wind. Where their bodies touched he felt a line of heat and power beginning to spread slowly through his body.

His vision narrowed on the task at hand and everything else melted away. He spotted a line of clear skys on the horizon as the ship crested the next wave and felt the woman shift beside him nudging him in that direction.

”Keep the faith pet, you are almost through the woods now!”

Dawn broke over the ship as it burst free of the storm, the sun blinding, chasing Aviz into consciousness, a light tinkiling laugh wringing in his ears and the heady smell of perfume and sea spray thick in his nostrils.

Cadj:

Rain and sea spray pound the rock around him as he huddles against the wind, feeling it cut straight through his clothing, chilling him to the bones. He stares up at the forboding Keep on the cliff above and feels a building sense of determination well up inside. He tears his gaze away from the Keep reluctantly before glancing down at the choppy waves far below, towards where the Dark Tempest sits at anchor. The fat Galley rides low in the water, weighted down with gold, silks and spices from their recent prize.

Cadj feels a grim smile split his face as he glances back at the Keep once more, before turning his back and beginning his walk back down to the cove, towards a shadowy group of crewmates waiting on the beaches there.

Cadj was awoken by the morning bell to find that same sense of determination filling him with warmth.

Eskiline:

Thick fog swallowed everything in sight, damping the groan and creak of the Caravel as she was pulled back and forth by the lapping of the waves against her polished hull. Her sails hung limp, not a whisper of wind to fill them. They had been adrift for what felt like a week and the crew was growing less and less pleasant as the days went on.

Eskilline sat alone on the aft deck of the Golden Dawn, staring listlessly in to the fog. As he sat there he heard a loud, thunderous chime, as if a huge bell was ringing right in his ears. The bell came again, along with the creaking of salt caked wood and bone.

Eskiline felt a slow chill of dread fill his bones, driving him to action, as the bell drew him from his sleep, becoming the morning bell on the same old ship he had fallen asleep on the night before.

Esmarelda:

Thunderous applause chased her out onto the balcony into the warm summers night air. She could barely catch her breath as she rested her hands on the railing and stared down over the glittering lights of the city, down towards the port. Her eyes sought out the light hulled Cutter that sat in the centre of the bay, her sails furled, her anchor lowered. The Gilded Melody was fast becoming as notorious as her Captain was famous. She sat there with a fresh coat of paint, bought with some of the spoils from her last trip, and didn’t she look beautiful.

”A ship is only as strong as her crew pet. You can dress her up how you like but if her crew is rotten, she won’t float for long!” The Raven haired beauty who sits atop the railing beside you smiles as she tips her tricorn hat up out of her eyes and glanced down at the ship. ”It is beautiful though, and such fine work it will achieve, aye?” She glances back at Es, before tapping the brand on her chest lightly.

Es feels a warmth begin to spread from her fingertip, curling through her body like a heavy, comforting weight, mixing with her soul and grounding her, for a moment.

”Storm is rising luv, keep your head above water and you’ll do fine!”

When Es turns to reply, the woman is gone, replaced by a slowly advancing shadow.

”Keep the faith pet, all will be well if you keep the faith!”

As the darkness envelopes her, Es is startled awake, the smell of sea spray and perfume thick in her nostrils, a tinkling laugh wringing in her ears.

Mateo:

His throat stung from lack of water, his face burned from lack of shade. He sat with his chin resting against his chest, his back pressed against the thin trunk of the sole palm tree that decorated his sad little island. He glanced up again at the wreckage that lay on the reef, some 100 feet from his tiny Sandbar Kingdom. The Frigate had been fleeing for all her worth, pursued by Slavers and Demons of the deep. The magics that wracked her decks were too much for the pilots to handle, the darkness too consuming and…

”Stand up sweetheart. Come on now, on your feet!” Mateo tore his gaze away from the Devils Due, his eyes focusing on the raven haired beauty who waded through the surf towards him.

He stood shakily and his vision began to swim. He stumbled, but she was just there beside him, her hand resting lightly on his shoulder, proping him up. Instantly he felt warmth suffuse his body, swelling inside him, filling him with strength. He stood straighter, looking down at the woman, who nodded and smiled up at him, tipping her tricorn hat out of her eyes.

”Aye, good. Keep that spine straight and those eyes sharp love. And when it all seems lost, keep the faith!”

She smiled and pushed him lightly in the chest, causing him to stumble back and begin to fall. He burst awake, the smell of sea spray and coconuts thick in his nostrils, a light tinkling laughter filling his ears.

Vex:

The Red Maiden crept her way slowly through the dawns first light, her sails full, her decks awash with activity. Vex sat atop a crate and watched the crew work, her tail swaying softly behind her, fanning away the worst of the morning heat. As the ship pulled into the cove, her eyes were drawn up the cliff face, towards a strange rock formation, one that appeared to be the image of a grinning skull.

As the Carrack slipped into the cove on silent winds, the woman slipped down on to the deck, before making her way to the fore castle, staring out at the beach as it came closer. The ship came to a gradual halt and Vex turned to begin handing out orders, sending the crew this way and that, in a hurry to begin the landing.

In no time at all she set foot in the azure waters around the beach. As her feet hit sand, a jolt of electric energy shot through her, energizing her every step, carrying her onwards, in to the thick jungle before her.

Bells began to ring in the distance to herald their arrival, and to pull Vex from her sleep. She sat up, energy coursing through her body, ready for anything.

You all awaken feeling stronger and better than you have well… ever. Congratulations, you are all level 2. Please level up.

Blood and Thievery on the High Seas

As dawn breaks bright across the morning sky, the ship is in full war mode. The chase had lasted through the night, though th1e ship being pursued had no idea of the Wormwoods presence. By sparing half of the each shift, the Captain has managed to have the crew up bright and early, fully rested and ready for war.

As the morning bell rings, calling you all from your slumber, you crawl from the hold to find the deck of the ship outfitted for the oncoming combat. The starboard side of the ship is decked in razornets, set up to deter potential borders who would seek to surround the ship and flank. This is not much of a worry as the ship you chase is a merchants galley, but the Captain is a cautious man. Along with the fitting of razorwire you note the weapon chests at mid and fore aft are open to the air and crew mates are openly wearing armor and weaponry again.

You are met at the mast by Scourge, who glares at each of you in turn, his gaze lingering on Mateo for a moment, before turning away. ”Right, you all are still alive so yer gonna work fer yer f+*#in place on this ship poppets. Yer first at the rail and first over the side when we come beside her. Get suited up and don’t hold back. It is them or you now. Get to it, we will be on her soon enough or I don’t miss my guess!” He turns and heads towards the stern to begin preparations.

As Scourge retreats, Sandara makes her way towards you, smiling, her arms crossed over the well repaired suit of armor she wears. Her hair is tied back in a ponytail and her face, though smiling, is grim. ”Well my lovelies, looks like we are in for a Red day today. Good for us, maybe, and bad for them as aren’t us, definitely. Scourge is a bastard but he is right, it is them or us. Fight hard loves, I don’t want to have to play doctor at the end of this. Though I will if you ask nicely!” She throws Aviz a wink as she says the last, before walking away with a small laugh.

You will each have a little time before combat starts. Those who need their armor can retrieve it from Grok. There are a collection of Cutlasses, Axes, Crossbows and Boarding Pikes lying around the ship, for everyone to use. You can make one daytime action, during the preparation phase. I am working on a map now, it will be up when combat starts.

The prologue to this part is spoilered to each of you but feel free to read all parts if you like. Sorry this took so long but I was trying to make it special.

Nope. 7 is fine. This game is already pretty far from standard. A bigger crew is a better crew. I'm working on a post now.

Option One it is. I'll be working on a post tomorrow to get us started again.

Haha Okay okay, credit given!

"Yet" is the key word there. This GM ain't no fool. :P

Coupling that with Esmareldas idea of friendly makes me want to reiterate that all adult relations will be subject to a (attempted) tasteful fade to black.

HEY! Vex too. You are also totally welcome in group 1 discussion. And we can just say your influences stand, if that is the option you all wish to go for.

So I have been thinking about this and I have two options to put forward to you.

1) I hand wave it and say that you guys always were part of the crew, Aviz fought Owlbear and Mateo got ambushed. You would gain the benefits that G'Nosha gained and I will add 100Gp to the party loot. As for the influencing NPC's, most of them have been influenced by Party 1. Any that weren't that were influenced by 3, I can add in to the party pool.

My second idea is a little different but might be more enjoyable for all involved.

2) Party One was on the Wormwood, Party 3 was on a separate ship, the Mans Promise, a Rahadoumi Merchant ship. Party 3 were bought as slaves and were forced to work on the ship by the evil crew Captained by Banabas Garrington, Scorge and Plegg. They will join the ship when the two ships meet in combat, when we begin the game again. The Wormwood is chasing the Mans Promise and in their panic, the crew of the Promise will not be paying attention to the captured crew. You all can work against the crew and help the others when the ships meet.

It is up to you all how you want to play it. Regardless, welcome back aboard Mateo. Please join the Discussion for Group 1.

Hey there gamer bros and brodette! So to keep everyone up to date, I have decided that, to make things a little more streamlined and easier, I am going to amalgamate team one (you guys) and team three in to one team.

I am waiting to see which members of team three are still around, but for right now we have Cadj joining us. Cadj is a Chelaxian Wizard focused in the Evocation school.

I recognize that we now have a Sorcerer and a Wizard, but both characters are unique and different. In my RL game I too have a Sorcerer and a Wizard character in the one party and it works out quite well.

So everyone welcome Cadj to the fold.

Okay I'm gonna leave this option open till tomorrow night, 10pm GMT.

In the meantime, Cadj please report in to team one discussion.

Hey guys, so I am over this leg of college and feeling a little more stable. Now comes the moment where I say "Lets kick this game off again!". So I am going to do it a little differently though. I'm going to do an activity check now, then, if we do not have everyone, which I assume we will not, I will offer you guys three choices.

1) We do a re-recruitment for the missing players.

2) We amalgamate Team One and Team three (you guys) and make one full team.

3) We go our separate ways.

Now personally I think option 2 is the best option, but this is a group decision so... Sound off ya scurvy dogs!

Oooh that would have been cunning but no I'm not that bright.

I have assignments to hand in by the 28th of this month, then we can return to the game, though we may have to recruit some people. Sorry I haven't been very communicative, but thanks for being here guys!

This is my game so I am the one who has to pass the sentence I guess.

Aq, I think too much damage has been done already, with everything else and with this trial now, that if we put you on probation something else will happen and you will take more of a brunt of it than you probably should. For your own good and for the good of the group, your time on this ship is done. Send me a PM and we will speak about your options.

Go in peace from here and let us all work together in the future.

Red, send me a PM later with what you wish to do about a replacement, I'd like to keep in the know.

All the rest of you, let's just put this behind us, no need to drag bad feelings forward, and let's just move on from here.

Ttfn!

I am missing two people on Group One, that is true, and you could join up there, but I think Aqguazula would not fit with the party. They are sort of stuff Good / Neutral group. I would accept a new character from you though.

Group One is also on hiatus at the moment however, and they opted not to do as you have and try continue.

If you are still interested, drop me a message and we can talk about character ideas.

Kragor, you and Rennick were goth on my list and Red was happy with your character so regardless of of other people, we are both glad you are aboard. Aq meant nothing bad by it I am sure.

I'd be okay with Aq swimming away with his new Dolphin pal, if it comes to that.

Okay guys, we are going to deal with this out in the open later on. I have to go to do College and can't do it now so we are going to talk this all out later.

Watch for my messages please.

I'm gonna be around the Boards still but I have cut back to just games I am playing in for the moment. And even cut them down further.

We will be back running as soon as I can gst my stuff under control. :)

Yeah secret hiatus are good for no one. Sorry guys. My bad. :( I'm totally up for continuing when I get more on top of my s%@~.

Sorry for the lack of communication and my absence guys. I'm working on College stuff so a little busy.

Team 2 decided on taking it on themselves to try a second GM while I struggle along, so that is anot option we have here. Or we could go on hiatus.

What are you guys feeling?

I am okay with Chandria taking over if she wishes, just while I am gone. What do you guys want?

I do want to continue with you guys, it is a goal of mine. I just need to settle in to the classes. I'm stressing hard because I need to find work placement to go with one of my classes (a fact I was not told till the class had started) so once that is done, I feel like I can dedicate more time to the boards.

Hello all. I have been having a lot of trouble with... well everything. I have just come to a point where I do not think I can keep up with the work load I have any more. I have gone back to education after a couple of years and have found myself inundated with new deadlines and expectations that I just did not have before. I am sorry for this and I do not feel right about shutting down the thread completely. I would instead suggest a short hiatus. We have already faced a month, due to lack of internet connection / moving (once again) / stresses of the holidays. I am leaving it up to you, if you will accept a hiatus or whether you want to let this die fully.

I apologize that I had no time to message sooner but I just got my internet put in late on Monday and have been busy with college since. I am sorry again for all of this and please, ignore me and hate me if you must. I would in your positions.

Hello all my faithful group. It is I, your much absent leader. I am sorry I disappeared without a word but I had no way to get online properly. I am back now and ready to continue, if you all wish it. I will push this part forward as it is slowing us down.

G'Nosha collapses to her knees and begins to black out to the tinkling feminine laughter, before two feet appear in her vision, seeming to drop down from the skies above. As the feet land, splashing bilge goo all over the Half Orc, she feels a burning current fill her from head to toe, the smell of salt water growing stronger, the sea air becoming choking as her wounds knit back together perfectly.

G'Nosha is suddenly painfully awake, her body washed clean of any pain, any fatigue and any worry. She lay there staring up at the woman who had just cast a spell on her, a woman who looked just as confused as she herself was.

"Who the bloody hell are you people and why does the lady favor you all so much?" Sand sat down in the bilge water looking worn and confused.

Esmarelda[b]

As Es and Rosie enter the Quartermaster store, Grok looks up, smiling politely at the women. [b]"What can I do fer yeh girls?"

Everyone

As the call goes up for sails on the horizon, the Captain bursts up from below deck and charges to the fore rail, pulling a jewel encrusted spyglass from the wrap on his waist.

"Travellin against us, we will have to pick up speed... Won't see action to the morning!" He frowned, slamming the piece shut before nodding and turning to the deck. "MISTER PLUGG!"

"Yes Captain?" The man answered, stepping out of the crowd.

"Set up watches. No fires on deck. Half ration of rum tonight and everyone gets some sleep. In the mornin, we get us some blood!"

No Fort save and everyone will get a full night sleep if they wish it. Stealth checks to sneak out at night are harder by two steps. No games on deck but cards in the hold. All of the officers will be occupied with tasks so no interactions with them.

Sorry guys, so much crap going on. New Internet isn't in, old Internet is broken. Crap on crap. Small update now, bigger update to come.

G'Nosha

G'Nosha buried her blade up to the chest of the boxer who collapsed to his knees, gripping her wrist as blood bubbled from between his lips. G'Nosha felt a flash if pain and heard the faint tingle of feminine laughter, as a brand of a skull and crossbones, the holy symbol of Besmara, appeared on her wrist, seeminglying burned there in crimson by the pirates blood.

Esmarelda

Rosie smiled and nodded slightly, offering her hand to shake. "Regardless of the outcome of this conversation, I am in your debt Esmarelda. Thank you!"

Welcome back guys. My Internet is on the fritz but I'll attempt to get a post up tonight. I'm posting off my phone so GM posts are harder. I'll keep us up and running though.

Mateo:

Sandara smiled, offer offered him her hand, "Sandara Quinn, Sand to my friends. And as for why Scourge wants you dead... Well probably a mix of everything you said and the bile and blackness of the bastards heart!"

"I ain't a priestess here, I am just another scrubber. I work and do chores and have no position other than what the Captain or Scourge make for me. He can speak to me like that and not worry because Besmara wouldn't have it any other way. We all have our places in the world, aye?"

As afternoon fades in to evening, Mateo hears a cry of joy from above, followed by "SAILS ON THE HORIZON!"

You are just a touch ahead of the group. You can roleplay with Sand until people catch up if you like.

Bastardos:

Bastardos begins to slowly creep up the stairs towards the Captains cabin. Before him sits a small landing and a door with a well polished handle.

Your move pal.

DM Rolls:

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Amara:

Crimson grabs a heavy duty line and affixes a hook that looks more like it is used for grappling than fishing. With that done he goes in search of some chum. There is a rotten bucket of pigs guts that Kroop left near the aft rail and, closing his nose, he grabs the meatiest bit, before sticking it on the hook.

Within a little time of the hook hitting the water, he gets a bite and begins to haul as hard as possible.

After a lengthy fight, a small black finned shark wriggled on the deck. With practiced hands, Crimson drives his knife in to its gills and the thing dies with ease.

"Dinner and a drink it is gorgeous!" he says with a grin, stinking from offal and covered in blood.

Vex:

As afternoon fades in to evening, Vex hears a cry of joy from above, followed by "SAILS ON THE HORIZON!", from Ratline who hangs near her in the rigging. "We're for her now love. Best be ready to dance with the devils!"

[ooc]You are just a little bit ahead of Amara and Bastardos so this is just to tell you where we are going.

Hey all. I'm in the middle of moving (Thank f~!$. Place pretty good and happy to be moved. Will post tonight.

Hey all. I'm in the middle of moving (Thank f~#*. Place pretty good and happy to be moved. Will post tonight.

Bleepos:

Two of the chests contain Crossbow bolts, 500 each. One contains Arrows, 300 pieces. The last three contain a mixture of Armor and Shields, Leather, Studded Leathers, Chain shirt and a Breastplate with a mixture of light steel, wooden and Buckler Shields.

Mateo:

The men look between eachother before growling and sheathing their weapons, turning to glare at Sandara. "You won't be around always you sneaky c%%*. Can't protect him forever!" Kip growls, spitting at the womans feet before gesturing up the ladder. [b]"Come on Chumlett, lets get the f!#! out of here. Ain't our job any more!" As they leave the small area, Sandara turns to Mateo and smiles.

"Lovely chaps those two. Need some help with the rest of the work? Don't need Scourge another reason to wanna kill you!"

Mazel tov! (If anyone is Jewish here, I apologize, I just appreciate the saying!)

Hey congrats, that is awesome to hear.

Mateo-bituary?:

Mateo missed his target yet again, defying all odds. He is met with the blade of his opponent, driving deep in to his chest, taking him to the edge of consciousness.

Mateo takes 5 damage.

As Mateo clings to his chest, he is suddenly bathed in a square of bright light, as the trap door opens from above. He hears a womans voice, before Sandara drops lightly to his side, drawing her cutlass and staring daggers at the men.

"Need help love?" She casts Mateo a quick grin, before pulling up short and reaching out to lay a hand on his chest, before a wave of golden energy that tastes like sea spray, sounds like the crash of waves and feels like a warm current, washes over him.

Mateo regains 12 Hp

Bleepos the Brave:

Bleepos managed to shake off the poison like a champ but is still bleeding and heavily injured as he pushes through the door in to the armory.

This tiny chamber is crammed with chests and neatly ordered weapon racks. The armory is secured with a good lock and trapped. The weapon racks hold 20 clubs, 12 heavy crossbows, 20 cutlasses, 50 javelins, 12 shortspears, and 20 grappling hooks each attached to 50 feet of rope. There are 8 chests arrayed around the room. Two of them are locked.

Cadj and Peppery:

Peppery bowed her head slightly in thanks to Cadj, before smiling sadly. "Alas, if only I could. I know the spell you speak of, I can indeed cast it and I would love to share my knowledge with you, I truly would, but sadly I can not. I am no Collegium trained Wizard my dear, my talent is just that, talent. I am not trained but natural, a Sorceress!" She gestured around the room with one hand, "This may seem more like a Wizards laboratory, I understand your confusion, I merely have an interest in the Knowledge's, not based in them!"

DM Rolls:
1d20 ⇒ 51d20 ⇒ 4

Machete:

Machetes attack missed its target but, when the pirates returned in kind, they too found nothing but air on their weapons and fists.

Amara:

Amara makes her way up on deck, finding Crimson working at the rail, securing a length of rope. He listens to her plea for a moment before grinning and nodding, taking the gear off of her hands. "Alright gorgeous, I'll do this for you if you have a drink with me later on. Deal?"

Vex:

Ratline grins broadly and blushes slightly, bowing his head to her, "Any time ma'am, any time!"

Aq:

As the blade swings towards him, the man managed to slip out of the way at the last moment, a broad smile splitting his lips. He spits a small fleck of blood from his lips before returning the slice, with an equal result of a miss.

"F*%#! Either you or I or both must go you scaly freak!"

Bleepos:

Bleepos feels a cold feeling spread from the wound but managed to fight it off, if only barely. He coughs as his wound burns but doesn't appear to get worse.

Yet... Another Fort save please little B!

Chandria-:

As the pig darts away squealing, Chandria pivots and drags her blade down the length of his flank, causing the beast to trip and skid in to a pile of crates, coming to a sharp stop. It lays there bleeding for a moment, its side heaving, before it slip away in to death.

Pig is down. Good job C!

Linnet:

Peppery shrugged softly, a slow smile crossing her lips when it came time for her to recount her own history. "It isn't a big secret, I was the daughter of a minor noble who got bored with all of that stability and nonsense and craved the sea. Began travelling under an assumed name, still do, and haven't looked back!"

Es and Rosie-

Rosie stares up at Es and shakes her head softly, smiling bemusedly. "You are a wonder aren't you dear? You barely know me and here you are offering to buy back my most precious personal item for me." She laughed softly, staring down at the deck beneath her feet. "Thank you. I would not take your money but I would appreciate the help getting it back, for sure I would!"

G'Nosha-

G'Nosha spun on her heel and lunged forward, driving the blade up to its hilt in the mans chest. He stood there, eyes wide, blood running down his lips. He coughed once before collapsing backwards, tearing free from the blade in a hot welter of blood.

DM Rolls:
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 141d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

The boxer darted after her with a loud cry but missed completely.

Sorry to the others who are not involved in these scenes, I swear we are almost done here!

Thanks for letting me know Es. Take care of yourself.

Bleepos Droppo, legendary Pirate, begins to work on the trap before him, smarter than everyone is he till...

With a loud crack and a sharp jolt to his shoulder, Bleepos finds himself impaled by a bolt.

Bleepos takes 9 damage as he triggers the trap. Fort Check please.
