Ah thank you very much.

I am more then okay with these rulings, but where does it say that it has to be held/carried?

If someone else says it, I'm not worried. This character is designed to walk in the fire, an Ifrit Barbarian with a Fire-Forged-Steel Longsword and Fire-forged-steel agile breastplate. He wants to immolate himself in battle, the main reason for carrying the bead is to light himself on fire. I was thinking of secondary uses for it as well.

So I'm trying to find the range on activating an item with a command word, and I can't seem to find any mention of a range. I'm taking a campfire bead with my barbarian Ifrit, but I was thinking in addition to a fires domestic uses, I could use it as a trap. Place it beforehand, and ready an action for when an enemy goes through that square, speak the command word, and have it ignite, burning the unfortunate soul that walks through.

Does anyone know where the range of a spoken command word is listed? I couldn't find it in the Core rulebook?

If it's not listed, I was thinking 30ft in combat, or 90 feet if it's quiet.

So I'm building up a Musket Master(Gunslinger). I want to take a one level dip in Rogue for sneak attack, and I was hoping to take the Rogue Sniper archetype; My issue is that the 'Accuracy (Ex)' ability in it does not include firearms, while the version for the Slayer does.

I know the reason for this is because the rules for Firearms had not been introduced as of the last update for the APG. Does anyone know if they will do new errata?

Alright, thanks. The roleplaying guild guide mentions a "sanctioned content document" available for each sanctioned module on its product page, but I only found a chronicle sheet for crypt (no details about success conditions, breaking it into multiple sessions, etc). While not nearly as long Dragon's Demand, I would think its much longer than a normal scenario.

If the download only has the chronicle sheet, than the module is only available in Module Mode as laid out on pg 11 of the Season Eight PFS Guide. For an example of one that gives access to campaign mode, check out the download for Dragon's demand.

Edit: The rules for additional sactioned content like modules and AP's are on pg 11 of the Guide. The wording isn't as clear as it could be, but the intent is that a module only has campaign mode if it's download says so.

Actually you can play any module in campaign mode, as per page 11 of the guild guild. Look at Campaign mode, under the 'Additional Playable Content' header

Actually, the wording got a bit vague in the guide.

If campaign mode is available for a module is stated in the sanctioning document of the module.

As a general, the old, 32 pages modules and free RPGday modules do not have campaign mode, and the new, 64 page modules do have campaign mode.

There's nothing vague about the wording at all.

"Campaign Mode: For sanctioned modules and
Adventure Paths, GMs are allowed to use their own
rules for character creation and running the presented
content (the entire book or series)."

I want it all to be PFS legal, and my class right now is Barbarian(just hit level 2)

Well I don't want to kill myself, but I do want to be set on fire....

I'm making a character who will have Fire resistance 7, and wielding fire-forged steel arms and armour. I was thinking of using alchemist's fire at the beginning of combat, so that I can get that 10 points of fire damage quickly. Any other suggestions?

It needs to be able to pull a wagon on land. I just want it amphibious because there's no room for it in the boat.

So I'm making up a character that will always have rowboat that's mounted on a wagon, and I'm looking for an amphibious creature that I could purchase to pull it. Does anyone have any recommendations? And preferably which book it is in too so I can keep it PFS Legal.
