Tessa tries the last bit of her rod's magic and fires another ray at the dragon. She pours everything she has into the rod. Thoughts of her past life, thoughts of the town burning and thoughts of her dying here today.

Tessa raises the rod high in the air and sends another blast of cold energy into the dragon. Her magic falters as the dragon continues to goad her, making her question her own power.

Tessa stands strong against the presence of the dragon. Holding the rod high in the air Tessa sends a stream of frost at the dragon.

Finally able to see once again Tessa rushes up to the northern section of the cavern. Grabbing the rod at her side she begins to prepare her most offensive spells at her disposal.

Tessa, hearing the others scream for retreat scrapes her feet along the ground as fast as she can. her arms outstretched so as not to bash into a wall and injure herself further.

Her breathing is heavy but she tries not to call out like the others as she wants to stay hidden from the dragon's wrath.

Tessa moves a bit closer to the sounds of combat, where she nearly runs into the grioth. Startled she attempts to hurl a snowball at it point blank range.

Tessa will just stay where she is as I moved a full move in the darkness last turn. This would be another double move at half speed to get where she currently is at.

Tessa dives into the darkness at Alrik's guidance. Her vision goes pitch black as she uses her hands and ears to guide herself hopefully closer to her allies.

Surprised by the expanding black orb Tessa rushes backwards.

Tessa continues to watch the dragon's movements, not wanting to draw any attention to herself in the slightest.

It's coming closer. You need to hurry up and get down there! She hisses between her teeth.[/b]

Tessa hisses behind her with wide eyes. "It's the dragon!It seems agitated and hovering near a portal. Get down there now. I will provide cover from here!

She continues to ready her bow, not wanted to draw the dragon's attention to herself.

Fly down into the greenhouse now! She slowly begins to panic as everything falls apart.

Delay as me shooting the dragon would be bad.

Tessa draws her bow awaiting for whatever the chittering draws in.

Turning back she glares.

What is going on?

Hearing that there is nothing but indigenous wildlife Tessa creeps forward towards the dge and peeks around the corner.

Is the dragon even here?

She places her back to the wall as she crouches down low, out of sight.

In the vast cavern Tessa points to the east. "There is sunlight coming from there. Let's check that way first. Her breath chills in the air as she protects herself with the arcane arts.

Looks like we need 2 more scrolls of Spider Climb if Lukas has that kind of gold. If not I can probably follow Sarasha up and bring slippers back down to someone else. Either that or Kayja can fly them back and forth for the rest.

Not that I know of.

On paper Monkey fish looks good but it only lasts 60 seconds each time. Spend 6 seconds of that reaching and casting the next one we are going to burn through them. I think spider climb might be best.

back in town Tessa quickly visits the market and purchases two scrolls of Spider Climb that may help best with the small hill.

I have 54 gold left if anyone else needs to purchase anything before we go to face the dragon. She holds her sack of coins forward for anyone to take.

Tessa stares at the massive mound in front of her and lets out a low whistle. No way I am making it up there without hurting myself. Anyone have any ideas?

I have nothing. I have half the cost of a potion of fly is someone else has 400 gp or some way of getting her up. Or I can purchase a ton of rope and pitons? Will post RP once get plan semi-figured out.

We have wasted enough time having to come back. Tessa grimaces. Maybe we should head straight to its lair? We have found very little in the monastery.

She reiterates. By now it knows we attacked its stronghold and may very well head here any minute. We cut off the head of the beast and its forces will scatter.

Tessa hides her surprise by Sarasha's new appearance and is more intrigued. Are you under your own control or under the monk's control?

Tessa's icy blue eyes pierce into each of the group as she sits a comfortable distance away. An icy aura fills the air around her and chills to the bone. She orders a warm mug of hot chocolate. Though it matters little. As she grasps the cup it freezes the contents into the form of a slush.

Tessa is all updated

Seeing her small flames peter out and doing nothing to the mummy Tessa leaps back a small bit and hurls more snowballs at the undead overlord.

No, I wish I did. Burned them all up in the last fight and used the last one here in the beginning.

Tessa, seeing that the fire did a bit more substantial damage to the mummy nervously moves in closer and washes a wave of flame over the undead creature.

Yea, if she saw it she would change to fire, seeing it do more. Though only fire spell I have is a very low level burning hands. If can hold it off for a few more rounds I will see what I can do. Though the dice roller essentially already killed 40ish damage from me in last two rounds.

I don't wish to leave them also. I have four snowballs left to throw at the mummy and one burning hands. Touch AC is about our best bet if we don't wish to leave them. Though we have to roll higher than a 3. :(

Tessa moves forward for a better angle and hurls another snowball at the mummy monk.

Her heart races in her chest as she sees two of her companions fall to its might.

Rod still in hand Tessa hurls more ice from its end at the mummy. Rime and ice cling to every inch of the area as the spell intensifies.

Use Rod to maximize and Metamagic Spell to add Rime to snowball.

Wondering why you would not want to shoot fire at something that is wrapped in cloth?

More thematic reasons as Tessa is a frost mage dealing with majority frost spells. Trying not to change her up for metagaming reasons :). She is built completely around frost and cold spells.

Stepping around to get a clearer shot Tessa fires off a frozen ray at the mummy as she pulls out the maximize rod.

Frozen ice flows freely from the rod as a known chill fills the chamber.

Tessa curiously steps forward as she detects the mummified creature for any signs of magic. This is unlike anything I have seen before. Look at how easily it moves still.

No objection here. Let's finish this lower level. Er rather middle level now that we found stairs leading down.

Tessa quickly follows behind Lukas as she tries to keep up. Safely she shuts the door behind her to the stairs so as not to allow whatever is below to come up.

Tessa sighs, thankful that these creatures were not nearly as powerful as their leader was. She moves a bit further north and investigates another door.

Odd statue...Tessa says as she barely gives it a second glance. Doubt we will find anything concerning the dragon here.

Tessa darts through the courtyard and to a door to the east. She keeps an eye out for any of the kobold patrols.

There is nothing here. We should head back down below and clear out the ground level first. Tessa suggests.

Tessa whistles as she looks out at the view from the belfry. Looking all about the monastery she tries to see if she can tell what other forces that the dragon might have at his disposal here. At least it would give them a moment to prepare incase they came across another of these difficult lieutenants.

Placing a hand over her eyes to block out the sun she looks in all directions that she can see.

Maybe Asmur can help us out a bit. He did say to find him if we are in need. Tessa suggests as everyone seems to have forgotten about the helpful man.

Tessa rushes over and tries to help who she can with the poison. Lying her hands on the wound the group finds out why she never wanted to be touched. Her physical touch itself burns with such intensity as her hands are as cold as the ice. Small ice shards quickly form in the wound as it makes the area around it numb.

Cast Resistance on Jeb then Celes for +1 to your saves for 1 minute.

Tessa's eyes glow bluish-white once again. Small trails of ice roll down her hands as she fires a frosting ray at the Naga from her fingertips.

With no way of knowing where the Naga is Tessa prepares a spell for when it shows itself.

As the creature bites at Sarasha Tessa stands up and stumbles back against the wall. As it on reflexes alone she reaches out for her companion and hurls a pack of frozen ice at the naga.

Tessa follows Lukas as she drops to her knees. She cringes as her mind races back to her days aboard the slave ship where she was beaten within inches of her life on a daily basis. Fear and anger quickly begin to take hold as she thought she was past all of this subservience.

Tessa hangs back a small bit so as to not give away their position this time. She shudders at the thought of running into another Grioth that large and powerful again.

Get the door first. Leave nothing to sneak up behind us. Tessa suggests. urging Celes to open the door.

Why would the dragon want corpses? Tessa asks quizzically as she moves down the hallway to the east. She shudders at the thought of what this dragon might actually be up to.
