Yes I'll be running a couple of games for it, and playing in many more :) Its a really nice chance for players who cannot attend Cons to get boons!

I think I am going to bow out guys, the pace just is not sufficient to keep my attention, and I find things at this pace more chore than fun. If there is a chance of the game getting back up to 1 post a day levels I would certainly be interested in continuing but given that Seamus's last post was nearly a month ago, and the one before that ten days earlier, etc., I think the chances are pretty slim.

I really enjoyed the group and hope to play with you all in future in pacier games. If any of you are not playing PFS PBP yet I highly recommend it, most scenarios finish in about a month and being able to use the same character again in other GMs games enables you to do things in much more palatable bite sized chunks.

Terwin's' not asking her not to kill him, but to refrain for a few seconds while he try's to get information. I am perfectly fine with the goblin dying, but we want to know what is going on. I was basically saying please ready attacks we see if we can get some info then likely kill him - unless there are some very surprising circumstances.

Terwin eyes the cave entrance warily, "Well I suppose there is nothing to be done, but to head in there... Would someone more robust mind leading the way though?"

Just to reiterate, though I'm not calling it out Terwin is as always using his at will feather fall ability every round - its an immediate action so this includes in combat. This is important because he has a trait which means if he has a spell up he automatically stabilizes.

"Well I'm following them," Terwin says, "our employers real goal is to stop the goblins causing trouble and I feel following these masked types has a better chance of achieving that. If I am wrong the goblin village is not going anywhere."

The macaw tries to confirm it is the goblin village before returning.

"They're going around a village the trail leads to," Wilberforce relays, "must be the goblins."

"So maybe they are not dealing with the goblins?" Terwin muses, "I say we follow them, I don't think taking on an entire goblin village is wise."

Actually since we know they are following the trail I recommend we don't use tracking as per the rules - which requires us to go at half speed, or up the DC substantially. We would be better off following the trail and ought to be entitled to a perception check if their tracks move off it, etc. Plus I'll have Wilberforce check periodically, then we can move full speed.

"Movin' along the trail, but they're already going!" Wilberforce says urgently, flapping his wings at anyone taking their time. Terwin begins hurrying down the trail, stops and waits for someone sturdier to take the lead.

Terwin sends Wilberforce up to investigate the other camp as soon as he waken, "Now make sure you stay well above them hundreds of feet, and don't hover about, just fly around naturally try to establish which way they are going and then fly back by a round about route, alright?"

Wilberforce squawks disdainfully and takes to the air. Terwin waits for those who know what they are doing to begin tracking.

Terwin nods and resumes his watch, wakinjg the next person when it is there turn. With no spells expended he does not need to spend time studying his spellbook and is thus ready to go bright and early.

"Or maybe they are working with the goblins, they clearly spoke with goblins. The question is what context did that conversation occurr in? Iron masks make me wary,honest men rarely have a need to hide their faces. I presume the goblin they speak of is our mysterious mind controller. Maybe we should follow Them to him?" Terwin says,tapping his chin thoughtfully.

Wilberforce lands upon a nearby tree sidles up to a vaguely parrot shaped branch and proceeds to get amorous with it. five minutes later he gives a contented squark and takes lazily to the air, returning to Terwin via a roundabout route before relaying what he saw...

"Six humans sat around a campfire, roasting some sort of creature for a meal. All of them had an iron mask sitting next to them. Then one says,

"I'm sure that damned goblin has the chest. We need that stone, and we need that journal. The other goblins are exaggerating—it can't be that powerful... " Then he spots me and says, "Perhaps we shouldn't be so loose with our tongues; who knows what's in this godforsaken swamp."

So I get freaky with a branch to allay suspicion and then came back to you lot."

Wilderforce shrug and launches himself into the air, flying stealthily over the campfire well above and using his low-light vision to get a good look at the campers before returning to report.

Wilberforce will take 20 on Perception for a 26. He'll take 10 on stealth for a 20.

Shaking the others gently awake in turn Terwin, puts a finger to his lips and points out the fire raising a questioning brow and miming walking towards it with two fingers.

That was a big part of the reason Terwin was upset since he was hoping to get the goblin we killed to lead us there.

"I wonder if those things could impersonate goblins as well?" Terwin says thoughtfully as he hands the cloak to Cyrus.

Looks like it would be best with Cyrus for the moment, we can revisit later, as if Cyrus levels I assume his saves will rocket up.

Just for clarity, Terwin is not threatening with his shocking fist, he's just carefully holding it so he does not accidentally discharge it against something.

Terwin steps up besides Jia, a look of astonishment upon his face, his suspicions having been of a wholly different nature. And snatches a handful of coloured sand from his pouch hurling it at the creature. The sand transforms into a spray of scintillating colours as it envelops the bizarre creature.

"Argh, gods what are you? Change back!"

Wilberforce swoops out of the way, seeing Terwin beginning to cast.

Colour Spray DC 15 Will

Color Spray:
A vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth from your hand, causing creatures to become stunned, perhaps also blinded, and possibly knocking them unconscious. Each creature within the cone is affected according to its HD.

2 HD or less: The creature is unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 rounds, then blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round. (Only living creatures are knocked unconscious.)

3 or 4 HD: The creature is blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, then stunned for 1 round.

5 or more HD: The creature is stunned for 1 round.

Sightless creatures are not affected by color spray.
