I am not sure how much time is left on the 3 minute invisibility. But so far Teon has done nothing to make it end early.
@Xanos You are going to need to move yourself on the Roll20 map.
Here we then. This time, I think they will spot us. I hope soTeon takes the out stretched hand and pulls Xanos in, this time simply tucking him underneath one enlarged arm. He lands in front of the the doors to the chaple, setting Xanos beside him in front of the other door.
I am going to assume with the raised alarm level, the guards in front of the keep are going to see at least Xanos, if not Teon because he is invisable
Teon fails to move the catapult, apparently failing to notice that the wheels are chocked. He gives up after a push or two. He glances around to see if the guards noticed the noise.
[b]Largest indirect fire weaponry? Well the one on the roof of the keep is the biggest and the cup can probably throw more fire than the arrows the ones on the gate house shoot. I should probably be ready to fight before I do. I bet those guards on the roof of the keep will notice if I reaim it.[/i]
Teon will spend two rounds buffing. First Barkskin, then Enlarge Person. Then he will fly down to the roof of the keep and either try to swing the catapult around or change the elevation so it appears that a shot will land in the courtyard.
If I can't slaughter the guards yet, do you want me to try and do something about the war machines? There is a big one on the roof of the keep and a couple of little ones on the gatehouse.
Guards on the roof of the gate house, no more than five. A few on the roof of the keep and the walls. A couple at each of the doors. All in all, not many. I can take the ones on the roof of the keep myself. Hurry up Magic Man, I want to join the fun.
The only reply is is a gust of wind and a quiet chuckle.
Teon is flying out the window. The first thing he is going to do is head out over the gatehouse. He is looking for guards and if there are any if they appear agitated or alarmed. Then he will overfly the rest of the fortress looking for the same.
Would you like to take the stairs or have me fly up the side of the tower? Teon dons the cords, shoving his cloak into his pack. Or maybe everybody should come. With these I should be able to fly the entire part. Does anyone have a knotted rope?
Teon seems almost to quiver with eagerness to begin
The more confusion we create the better. The Talinguarders will hold against the bugbears better with the gates thrown wide and ably led than they will with the gates intact and their masters dead.
I say we kill them all. I take it we plan on setting off the flair from the tower as soon as the raven master and his pets are dead.?
It is Teon who appears from a dark corner of the cellar.
I agree with the recruiting poster here. We should remove any ability that they have to send for help. Is the best means of attack through the tower however? I can take one of you with me up the side of the tower?
Teon unfurls the wings that had appeared to be a long black cloak.
Updated Teon's appearance. I forgot to do when I leveled him, but I do not think it matters since he has not really appeared since then. Remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
If it is indeed, then our plan seems complete. Poisen the stew, set the captains at each other's thoats, and now our entrance. We will just need to set the details, then make it the gate house. What think you Wolf: shall we go further and risk ourselves for the information that we will need later?
Fargo knew that stealth was not one of his stronger attributes, so he did all he could to minimize his weakness before accompanying Cain. First, he became Teon, subsuming the noise that his armor would have made. Then he used the circlet to restore his appearance to that of Bis'marek. A cloak cloak and hood supplemented the headband the circlet appeared to be in covering his rune. Before taking the last step, Teon cast message upon himself and gave Cain a copper with light cast on it. Finally, he sought Xanos' help to render himself invisible.
Preparations complete, Teon followed Cain down the stairs, keeping an eye out and taking great care not to make any noise.
I hope that someone in the group is a baritone. Fargo sings lead, Teon tenor and Sir Eldon's Head base. We need a baritone to make a proper quartet.
I will sing to you if you wish. Kill this last while I chase down the runner. Teon sounds far more hesitant than normal, almost like Fargo.
As soon as he finishes speaking, he makes good on his word, leaping from the boat to cut off the running sailor. Fargo/Teon have a 35 foot movement. It looks like I can edit the map with my new phone. Sweet!!!
Ignoring the blows futility directed at himself, Teon shifts himself and starts to rip into the oarsman who struck at Gwyn. After downing him, he shifts his attention to the second.
It has been quite a while since Teon has been able to cut loose and engage in wanton slaughter. As so often happens, the faces of Odenkirk's men merge with those of his former bullies, now all dead. Odenkirk's crew will join them. No restraint, just force. The preparation were made, now the fun can be had.
Attacks:
Power Attack, Arcain strike All attacks are on OM5, until he goes down, then any remaining are on OM4. If he goes down, OM2
Ha ha ha. Mayhap thy position hath some merit. Very well. T'would be well not to have to find a new host in order to reach this plane. Mine own interest doth lie in keeping you alive. In thine extra curricular researches remember; What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.
Bah, what need have thou of becoming a symbol of death. My form is more than enough to cause fear amongst thine enemies and I have merged it with thy own. As your power increases, you shall be able to draw upon more of mine.
I think that with the proper use of spells, Xanos summons, Teons buffing himself, the Xanos, Gwyn and Teon could take the one boat. Maybe give us the slave. Xanos can heal the slave and Teon can heal himself. May be Fargo can even throw down a summon before summoning Teon.
Teon takes all the attention, starting ripping people apart, Gwyn slips behind them, kissing them to sleep and Xanos uses spells to tilt the odds.
And we thank you for your hospitality. Thorn said much the same of you. Would that all could be so trusted. Those of our group here are those that shall be opening the way for you. Those we travel with are, superfluous to our plans and less trustworthy than they should have been. I am sure that within your own ranks you have some small number who are similarly burdensome. If both these groups were to meet tonight, just enough to reduce their numbers to a more governable level, we would all benefit. Of course, we go need to ensure that we have sailors for the next leg of our journey.
