Ten-Penny lets go of the cart, and quickly moves towards the Mirror Man, drawing both her Short Swords in the process. She then tries to stab the Mirror Man right in his mirror face.

Debilitating Injury set to Disoriented: For one round, the target takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls. The target takes a -4 penalty on all attack rolls it makes against me.

Towards the Goblin:

Goblin:

Ten-penny then punches the goblin several times in the gut, knocking him out of commission.

"He said we're allowed to take stuff from weaklings, so I guess their gear is now ours."

Ten-Penny then gathers the Goblin's gear, moves towards the cart, and gears up with her own gear. "Aaahh, much better!"

While moving the cart through the alleys of the town:
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
"Say Reingeirr, you see the the hooded person present in that alleyway?" Ten-Penny whispered. Friend or Foe?"

So I was waiting for the voice of mercy (Giacomo) to say something, but it seems the little man was completely caught off-guard by the sudden explosion of violence, and hasn't had time to compose himself afterwards. Poor Gobbo... your life will be relatively shorter than those of other Gobbo's.

Goblin:
"So, pray tell, what was the big idea here? Were you ordered to attack us? And if so, who's orders? You better start talking, or I'll make that miserable existence you call a life a whole lot shorter."

Bombs?!? That's very dangerous! Ten-penny realizes this Goblin has to be taken out, stat. She moves over to this ringleader (Goblin G) and tries to put him in a headlock.

This provokes, as I do not have the feat. Any damage this one might do on his AoO is substracted from my grapple roll.

Ten-Penny Kicks up some snow at #2 (Feint), and then when he is distracted by the snow, punches his lights out.

Where is Caladan at the moment? I do not see him on the map.[/dice]

Ten-Penny takes quite some hits, as she is not wearing any armor [ooc]and I doubt I'm wearing my deflection ring and amulet. But seeing that the little tykes are attacking from a distance, Ten-Penny suddenly steps extremely near to them (5ft step, no longer threatened by the Horsechoppers). She then quickly pretends to hit Goblin #1 in the face, and when he flinches, she instead punches him in the gut.

Two-Weapon Feint: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 for 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 non-lethal and a possible 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6 sneak attack (also non-lethal)
Debilitating Injury set at Hampered: All of the target’s speeds are reduced by half (to a minimum of 5 feet). In addition, the target cannot take a 5-foot step.

Ten-Penny then shoutes to the rest: "They want the fish!"

Ten-Penny sinks into thoughts. "Normally, I would convince people to do something by being very direct. However, I do not want to look ungrateful towards the things she has already done for us. I think you would be able to get the concern across far better than I do. What do you think about this?"

After a while, Ten-Penny gets the chest open. She decides to not stop Ringeirr with getting his own equipment back. He probably needs it to smuggle us in. Then, sparkling stuff catches Ten-Penny's eyes. She grabs the Rubies and closely examines them.
Appraise Rubies: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
"I'd say these are worth approximately 50 gp each. We have four of them, so an easy 200 gp"

She then shifts her attention towards the mirror.
Appraise Mirror: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
"Oooh, this one is nice! Silver grip, finely detailed print... I'd wager we could get 100 gp for this one!"

The potential magic stuff is placed in the capable hands of whoever can identify these.

I already thought that he must have had something to loot, but decided against it while portraying Inquisitor Jala. It would have seemed quite awkward to do at the moment, but I'm happy to have teammates that find their inner rogue when I distract someone.

Ten-Penny then sits down at a table and gathers some writing equipment.
"What I do mind, however, is entering the city without a back-up plan. Although I prefer the forgery made by a pro, we can't get that before we enter the city somewhere. Therefore, I will try to make us a one which wil have to make due before we reach this "Mortin". That way, we might have more of a chance."

Ten-Penny takes up her quill and ink and redies to write.
"Ringeirr? Do you have a some sort of example of such a document, or do you know how it looks? Or perhaps a sample of an important person's signature? It could help me to create a more convincing forgery which we can then temporary use."

We shouldn't lie to this guy, I agree with that. And I like the character trait, don't worry. It's just that at some point, it is likely to put us in serious trouble, and I would like to see how we can get ourselves out of that (for fun). We did it before, at the former tower.

"Well? Dallying while our rulers want to get this done quickly? Get on with it!"

She looks around, are there any other guards around?

"We could dispose of these guards quickly... There is a boat to stash them which we can then push onto the lake... maybe with holes..." Ten-Penny quietly adds.

"Anyway, we could always use some more allies. Helping these people might provide us with some. Very handy when we need to lay low. I say we help him. Maybe we can pin the guards disappearance on the water ogres a little way back?"
