Depends on what you are trying to cast. If it is a touch range spell then no. If not then yes but you would provoke an attack of opportunity from whatever you are engaged in melee with and would need to succeed a concentration check to actually cast the spell. Regardless f the range you would provoke the Attack and check if you are in melee with an enemy.

Teagan moves into a flank with Donal, if possible. If the terrain ont he map is actually impassable he moves to the nearest open spot. Also that provokes an AoO but my ac is one point higher to to the mist template.

"Crush the meat."

I am horribly sorry for my absence I was hospitalized for the last week or so. I didn't have access to a computer while I was there. I asked my brother to keep up with my campaigns but obviously he didn't. I am back now though.

Probably should have clerified that teagan was referring to the feather token, not the sword.

Teagan looks at the rest of the party.

As he speaks he appears to stumble over his words. The previous refinement of his normal tone gone.

DR 5/Bludgeoning means that any attack that is NOT bludgeoning will do 5 less points of damage.

So if I slashed at it with my scimitar for 6 points of damage 5 points would be negated and it would only take one point of damage. If I did 4 points of damage the skeleton would take 0 as 4 minus five is below zero.

Since I am now swinging with a pot which is an improvised bludgeoning weapon even if I did 4 points of damage the skeleton would take the full 4 points of damage.

DR does not apply against energy damage from spells or other sources.

Did I explain that well enough?

Teagan steps around the skeleton.

"Break, damn you!" Shouts Teagan as he attempts to smash the skeleton. with his magically infused pot.

Teagan realizes that bladed weapon will be insufficient to deal thid opponent. Is it too metagamey to figure this out? If you dont ok this then i'll just move and attack with the scimitar. attack bonus would become +3

Teagan will drop his scimitar. Move around the skeleton and grab an iron pot from his bag provoking an attack of opportunity. He will then enhance the pot with his arcane pool and attack the skeleton with it holding it in two hands as an improvised weapon.

attack roll: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10Would 1d6 be acceptable or would you rule it does 1d4?

You could drop all of them to the bottom. They would essentially just be delaying their action until after the players. It's legal

Teagan is a thin lanky man wearing clothes colored with various earth tones accentuated by a light blue cloak. He examines the various items about the room while observing the others who resided in the commons.

He sees two people who seem to be conversing and edges slightly closer.
