Taschewren looks excitedly at the new arrival.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Elder Ordwi, you are most welcome to join us. You’re reputation for incredible intelligence, bravery, and knowing exactly when you are needed- surely this is why you’ve come now! Between this being your mission and the complete lack of leadership, I insist that you stay and help our expedition.

[i]Why is she here! I thought that this was my mission! My test to see if I could handle myself! I don’t need a babysitter!

Taschewren shares a knowing look with Kazmuk. Elder-I do insist that we keep our friend here with you- for your protection, of course. I would not want harm to befall you, and he’s proven himself a capable warrior. After all, only the finest for you, Elder Ordwi! He gives a stiff bow, as if showing someday high honor.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Despite his attempts, even Taschewren hears the venom in his voice.

Following the others, Taschewren attempts to crawl across the rope.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Taschewren watches as his valiant companions rush towards the evil crab-monster. Monstors are scary, and tough, and it usually takes an act of incredible bravery to take one down. Taschewren, bring neither tough nor brace, opts for the second approach.

I’ll find the villagers,” he tells to his companions. He pauses, seeking for sound, the moves to find the source of the sounds.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
One action to seek the source of the cries, two to stride towards the source.

As they wind up and down the long road leading from Osprey Cove to Iron Harbor- yeesh, those people- Taschewren thinks of stories that he was told about the people of Iron Harbor.

Society: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Taschewren does have the Dubious Knowledge skill feat- anyways, this should be fun!

He also ponders the life of an adventurer, like one from his books. Plenty of stories of people going out on their own- usually to somewhere grand, awesome, sublime. The stories failed to mention the mosquitoes. Pesky, annoying, and irritatingly persistent, Taschewren spends most of his time swatting at his fair skin- that I spent a fortune in soaps to keep nice, ruined by vermin!

Finally, as they near their destination, desperate sounds are heard, panicked voices calling for a savior to come to their rescue. Of course, a gallant man such as Taschewren would never leave poor citizens to their own demise, so her does the best he can in to help his teammates. One pulls a spear. The cat takes a knife. And the dwarf takes the plant and puts it on his shoulder- maybe he plans to use it as a club? Taschewren, for his part, swings into action.

Come, my friends,, he yells, pulling out his signet ring, the one his grandfather had told him came from when his family was a proud, noble house. “Come, let us lend our aid to our brethren!

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
+1 to saves to fear for all allies in a 15 ft radius, regalia implement

Lore(Esoterica): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Taschewren tried hard to remember if he’s ever heard of anything similar to this weird iron rust- after all, he did learn something from all those books he read.

Nope, he concluded. Nothing in any book had ever prepared him for this. Probably because it was nothing to worry about, anyways.

Also willing to beg forgiveness here….

Taschewren shivered on the boat, the cold wind blowing off the water causing him to shiver. I’d have much rather say at home, enjoying Sanderson’s The Way of Kingshe thought to himself. He looked around to his companions. At least the company seems…. entertaining.

He looked around at the variety of people crowding the boat, some excited, some nervous, and all chilly, he thought slyly. People watching was one of his favorite pastimes. He couldn’t wait to see what would happen.

Probably nothing. Some dead guys washes ashore, clutching a holy symbol- probably just crazy. Still, it should be good to meet those from the other side of the water. And if I’m good, maybe they’ll elect me to Elder next year!

He slowly approached the group. “So what do you make of this mystery?”he asked. “Nothing, or…. something?
