Tarek contemplates the shared knowledge.

We know there should be more orcs in these ruins and we have surmised that they must be out on hunting or raiding parties. I do not think it would be wise to perform the ritual here. I think it is best to either take the remains back to Lastwall or perform the ritual in a safer location nearby. We can wrap the remains in my cloak and take them and the sword with us. What does everyone think?

Tarek removes his cloak and lays it next to the mound of soil and begins digging carefully.
I think this may be the location of the warrior's remains. Dig carefully and place what you find on my cloak so we can return her remains to the Knights. Her body should be given a proper and more significant burial for her status

I have a few spells left to aid in healing. It may be best to save your wand for a more dire situation.

War Blessing:1
1st level:3
2nd level:1

Tarek focuses his mind and calls forth divine energy once more. Strengthening his healing with the aid of his War Blessing, Tarek uses cure moderate Wounds on Caoilte

Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (8, 2) + 4 = 14+50%
Caoilte should be healed for 21 points

Tarek then focuses healing energy on Arklore
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Ark should be healed 15pts

Tarek calls forth divine energies to enhance his attack. He unhooks his chakram from his belt and addresses the group
Let's get this over with. Ark, can you burn the web so the rest of us can charge in? I am moving in so let's get into place

Tarek casts Divine Favor
Tarek readies his chakram for a ranged attack and moves into the room while avoiding the web

These rooms all seem to be interconnected. Can we get in behind it and attack from both sides? If we can't then I say try burning the web and the rest of us continue our assault on the orc. We can't fire through the web but we can prepare ourselves for battle

Tarek looks closely at Caoilte's wounds
I do not think that last healing spell patched you up as much as I had hoped. Before we take action, let me try to call forth some divine healing once more.

Casts Cure Moderate wounds: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (7, 6) + 4 = 17

Tarek smiles as he sees visible signs of the wounds closing
Hopefully, that will keep you on your feet a bit longer

Tarek takes a full move action and moves into the room behind Isador and with Arklore but he will move out of view of the orc

Taking advantage of the chaos caused by the web, Tarek moves into the adjacent room to regroup.

Speaking softly once everyone is together Can we attack this brute from two sides? So far, our assault is not going in our favor. Any thoughts on the next plan of attack?

Tarek looks around the room

We need to move forward and I get the sense that evil is ahead. We should prepare ourselves for what may be on the other side of that door. I plan on moving quickly to take advantage of any surprise we may have. Is everyone ready?

Tarek waits for everyone to check their gear and ready spells and weapons before opening the door

Tarek calls forth divine energy and blesses his blade with the war blessing of good. He sheaths his blade, opens the door and moves quickly inside. He will move to the left once he enters to allow others to follow.

Here we go!

I am posting this action but Tarek will not open the door until everyone is ready and he will postpone his action if there are any objections to his action. This war blessing will not be cast until right before he opens the door.

I am sensing some evil west of us. It may be a bit premature to cast any spells but we should proceed with caution. Isador, if you are going to scout ahead, I can give you a little divine guidance to aid you

This statue was carved in honor of Kols, son of Torag. Apparently it is depicting the legendary story of his battle with Droskar.
