Ah yes. We should make the offer..at least, after we learn more about them. Never know, they might have been slavers themselves once upon a time. Whatever the case, we are provisioning them each with ten silver pieces, which should get them a foothold where ever they end up going. Tap looks long and hard at the longship. Would this be able to sail inland in places where we dare not sail the oncoming storm? Darn it, I need to learning something about sailing ships.
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
It may be worth something Tap allows. It seems that our primary booty is made of hulls. But true, they should hold a fair price, somewhere.
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
Tap leans over. I know what you mean Rush, but I don't hold with slavers and those who'd abide them.

but to be fair, Galar might just let Fineyeus take over that role (who'd know?) and let him deal with the paladin. Heck we might not even have to let the paladin or charles know that we switched.

natural born leader Jack, is what it is. check my newest order out.
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
Collect their weapons and bind them. Gag that captain as well. Tap orders. Tap watches grimly as the weapons are collected. At the command, a sailor hauls over a long rope from the Oncoming Storm, and one by one he binds the legs and hands, into a long snake of frightened men and women. Last, Tap hauls the captain up, ignoring the captain's frantic attempts to parley through a dirty rag, and stands him up with his back to the mast. Search him! The officers as well. Tap commands. Once done, Tap orders the captain to be tied to his crew. He walks down the line. Suddenly Captain Taptap points his thumb to a young man who appeared to actively be reconsidering his ill-fated choices in his short life. Untie him, and bring him aboard our tub. Strip him of everything and tie him to the mast. We must have a witness. Turning back to his captivated audience. For the sins of slavery and stupidity, I command thee all to the death, as the sea, our mother, extends most willingly Over groans of fear, Tap gives the order for them to be cast overboard. With an initial shove, a snake of men begin to be pulled overboard, with the helpful kick and shove to move things along. Last the rope tightens, yanking on the captain to the deck, and pulls him to oblivion. Now. Search the ship. Take all booty and bring it back to the Oncoming Storm, save provisions enough for the enslaved men, and then provision each freed slave with 10 pieces of silver.

Go get 'em Sunyata! Sunyata, pretty sure your rolls are not including all your bonuses. If you are some kind of monk, then your BAB should be +3. Then there is +2 for having a strength of 14. With the +3 bonus from increases strength this round per her racial ability you posted, and the +2 from Tap's inspire courage, your to-hit bonus should be at least +10. Fury of blows too? Then +12 to hit

Damn it. It looks like garbled spider webs, it does. We need to hire a mage.
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
This is not a ship we'd keep. It is a slavers ship in use and in design. It shall sink and burn after we raid its hold for gold and booty! And only one slaver aboard shall we keep alive, to release to tell the tale of Captain Taptap and his band...The slaves, well, we shall see who they may be!
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
Taps heart goes cold. Many of such wretches will find death a welcome freedom. Tap reaches back and pulls out a cracked blackened shard of a whale's skull, yet intricately traced with magical scripts. Judging the ships distance (within 170 feet?), Tap whispers a most dark spell upon the deck of the slave ship.

Aye, forward and hard...aim for their sails! I think

FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map

Saving? No. We couldn't even sail it if we could. Loot it?
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
Jack, Rush, erm...Malvessa. Come to this map and let us consult.
The prudent course is to consolidate our gains. We instead head back to Rickety's. Go ahead and fit our battering ram and deposit this Chelish ship for a proper pirate retrofit...who knows from whom it was stolen, and then set back out for the prize. I think this is a prudent course, but I'd hear ye opinions before calling out the order.
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
Rush the wise is correct. We shall search the hold, but first, Rush please see to any of the crew that were hurt in this scuffle. I'd like a full report of casualties.

First Mate, take the ship under your command, and while you're at it, giver her a new name. We'll split up the new fellas between the two ships to speed up introductions. Turning to the rescued sailors. As it happens, we are on our way to find a beached ship we heard tell of, not too far from here. Perhaps a bit of plunder. When we took the merchant ship, the captain "gave" us the ship weapon AND a map to a stranded ship. We were hoping for a bit of plunder on this quick expedition before returning to get the new battering ram installed.
FleetFooted Halfling 39/39 hp |Loot|The Shackles Map
I believe we got more crew recently...I believe we are at 26? But perhaps we can save some people and invite them to our crew for a bit?
