"Alright, I don't care as long as the brother dies by my claws." Talon keeps the stuff looted thrown over his shoulder, and gets ready to leave. Right before he leaves he looks over at the men lying on the ground in such a nice heap and he opens his mouth to breath out a blast of acid on them just to make sure they are all dead. Breathing cone of acid on the downed humans. Not sure if you want me to actually roll damage, or if I can assume that they die from the extra acid damage.

Talon picks up each ring and threads it through a piece of small thread. "Trophies for intimidation is better than gold, but it wouldn't be fair for me to take this for free, so I'll take it out of my share from selling the chain shirts, and I'll even carry all of the other stuff." Talon easily picks up everything, and just throws it over his back without any trouble whatsoever. "Like this, it's no problem for me. I could probably carry this house if I wanted to."

"Right.... I'll just fly there thanks. No way am I going to let someone else open up the fat priest." Talon then walks over to the defeated mercenaries, and he begins to harvest his required components. Just a shopping list of what Talon is going for, but here it is.

Seeing the man there Talon smiles and begins to try and tear the man apart with his own claws. Dropping back into initiative after the man moves forward. Bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Talon breathes out a blast of acid from his mouth on the mercenaries attacking Fremont. Hitting merc Q,R, and P, DC 18 reflex save for half. Those that fail their reflex save will take 2 points of acid damage for the next 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds. Acid Damage: 3d4 ⇒ (4, 4, 4) = 12

As the Silver flame member approaches Talon doesn't have any weapon on him. No man-made weapon at least. With a savage growl Talon atempts to rend the neck of the fool who attacked him with his dragon teeth. AoO: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

TE is standing for Talon. He is no longer disguised and instead openly wears his draconic heritage. He will have also tried to bind Aza'zati before the meeting begins. "Am I to assume that my warning will go unheeded? I have more experience in these matters than you do. Either surrender your items or don't expect me to cover the cost of failure. I gave free warning something that rarely happens. Also, how will she be traveling to the meeting?" After getting an answer to his question, and grabbing the items offered Talon goes out looking for the sister on her way to the meeting.

Talon nods in understanding. "I will not fail." Before Talon leaves he looks over the other twenty or so warriors gathered there. "I am a professional, and due to my upbringing I will allow no chance of anyone being implicated with this. Everything that you have that has the smallest chance of being linked back to the Silver Flame must be left here." Bluff: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (19) + 23 = 42 Talon then looks at Sen. "This is your final chance to make any special requests for where, or how you want the body found. I can do a townsfolk easily enough, but do you have anyone specific in mind to take the fall?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

Talon glares at Merton. "If I did get into a fight you wouldn't need to ask that question. I don't walk away from a fight until I'm covered in blood. Either mine, or my enemies." Talon goes into the other room, but instead of hiding his half-dragon heritage he pulls out his mirror, and disguise kit, and he begins to alter his scales, wings, and tail until his entire body is covered in a sliver sheen. He then gets to work on his armor throwing a tabard over his armor with the Silver Flame motif on it. Walking back out Talon seems to have changed from a green half-dragon to a silver one.

Talon nods and moves into an abandoned alleyway hoping that Fremont will keep the humans distracted with his looks. Luckily I won't need blood for this ceremony. Pulling out a thimble filled with foul water, leaves, twigs, and acid Talon gets ready. Beginning to scratch at the walls Talon begins to tell the story of greed. Humans stabbing each other in the back just for a few gold coins. The greed of orcs or battle driving them to attack human farms. The greed of dragons being the strongest. The strongest of all dragon greed was Aza'zati and his lust for gold was his undoing. Dying before he could amass all the wealth he wanted Talon calls upon his greed to bring him out once again. Drinking down the thimble Talon smiles as the egg appears and hatches revealing the wyrmling. "You called upon me once again?" "This time I call upon you by name Aza'zati. I need your power for a time join with me, and fulfill your greed once again." "The same deal as always? I think this time I will take a bit more. You will thank me for this later." Rushing forward the Wyrmling closes around Talon and rushes in. Suddenly cracking is heard from Talon's back, and his eyes seem to bleed acid. Talon nearly collapses at the pain as the transformation continues across his body. With a horrible crack two green scaled wings burst out of Talon's shoulders, and a tail bursts out of his lower back. Without shame Talon screams out in agony a human voice twinning with a dragon's roar. Waiting a few precious moments to compose himself Talon gets ready to see what damage has been done. Pulling out his mirror Talon can see that his irises have changed into a form not unlike a lizards. His slited pupils widen as they see the new wings and tail. Great I will need to cover this quickly. Pulling his remaining clothing around himself, and running down the alleyway Talon wraps his wings around his body and wraps his tail around his waist. He begins to hide his new transformations as best he can.

Talon smiles at the woman's fire. "Heh, I like that one. I don't like many Flames, but that one is alright if she shuts up the fat one. Anyways, Fremont I just remembered something important would you mind meeting up with me at the store?"

"My talents lie in the use of deception and disguises. I am best when I can fool those around me and attack before they even know what I am doing. My personal choice of weapons really depends on what disguise I am using."

Not that you need any more bonus to stealth, but shouldn't invisibility give you +20 not +10? Talon remains seated not saying anything for now. Instead he examines Fremont, Heric, and Merton. He pays close attention to any mannerisms they have.

Talon smiles in the dark alleyway as Silver Flame worshiper breathes his last in the dark alleyway Talon calls home. Soon I will have my revenge on all who dare attack me and my own. Drawing the sigil in blood Talon calls out to a dead spirit. "Come to me Tyrant Cromwell I desire your services." As the spirit begins to manifest Talon is surprised to see Aza'zati there instead. Surprise flickers across Talon's face before he masters it. "You call upon me Green Wyrmling?" The Wyrm seems to chuckle before looking at Talon with untrustworthy eyes. "Yes I do, you are required at the Mornspike residence don't be late." With that Aza'zati is gone, and the ceremony is done. Very well let us see what this man has to offer. Leaving the body to be discovered Talon makes his way to the home of Mornspike. Introducing himself as an ally covered from head to toe with clothing and armor.
Sorry about more questions, but if detect alignment got lumped into detect allegiance, would protection from evil/chaos/good/law become proection from allegiance?
@DM Jelani: I have cleared up some of Talos's background problems, and some errors in grammar. I have changed the demon story a bit, but not by much. If you think this still doesn't work I will probably cut it out and change the story. Added reasons for Talos to hate Brax, and joining the Consortium. Also, do you think the backstory on joining the Consortium would work, or do they operate differently?
I see Writing Style: The figure currently sitting in the light of the room seems to be carefully weighing every words the woman says while stroking the head of a rat around the size of a small dog. While his face gives nothing away to what he is thinking, he is currently considering his involvement in the Consortium. I can see why I'm being sent on this mission. Healing will most likely be important. He pays specific attention to the mention of the divination and other problems with locating/reaching the island. Might be best to find a wizard to tell me if any magic could do that. He also listens to the tale of the crewmembers. I could just kill anything that attacks us, but better make sure first. Talos waits until she is finished before asking a single question. "You say that five men went in and only one came out. It seems to me that there is something or someone working against this expansion. If we do find anything, or anyone hostile to us can we kill it?" He then sarcastically thinks to himself. Because, once me and Berax get there hostility will become unavoidable. Hopefully I can just claim he was attacking me, or I might have to make it look like an accident. After speaking his piece, with or without an answer Talos strokes the head of the rat and begins listening to everything else that any of the others ask or mention. Between questions and answers he is writing in a small book, or stroking the rat's head. "If there is another religion there I might be able to corrupt it. If that fails then destroying it would be the best. Make sure to find out more about this 'Golden Idol', and Berax is going to be a problem. I can already feel it." |
