Mhmm jinx was the main reason for choosing Halfling over Dwarf or Gnome.

With jinx and Malicious Eye in third level the eyes debuff moves to -3

The healing hex provides me with 7 cure spells per day.

Any thoughts for the open trait slot? I thought of something that provides class skill like acrobatics or stealth or maybe Bruising Intellect for using int instead of charisma.

For familiar
Goat was an funny idea, especially if i could ride it.
Cat or Raven seem to be good roleplay-wise

Hello, I need your help in fleshing out my character.
I've read the cackle and the lockdown as well as the viking guide to witches. They helped alot, but still i am undecided.

Camapaign: Giant Slayer AP
Group:
Barbarian (Dwarf)
Paladin (Archer Build)
Cleric (Dwarf) Support & Heal
Sorcerer (Damage-Dealer)
Ranger (Dwarf)
Rogue (Halfling)
me-> witch (halfling)? Debuff+Heal?

My main goal was to provide a de-buff / controll character.

That said in our first level we only have the cleric with healing power. So i was thinking about taking the healing hex in the first level. Which criples my debuff abilities much.
To compensate that i'll depend on spells like command and sleep - which are helpful in the first levels.

25point build, 2 Traits
Haven't decided yet on 2nd trait,Familiar and Patron yet.

So what are you suggestions for that group setup for?
Trait:
Hexes
Patron
Familiar (I don't feel that dinosaurs are valid in that campaign and talking to an scorpion doesn't feel cool)

Is Jinx worth the hassle?

So far I'vee come up with this fellow here:

Amaryllis Leagallow female Halfling witch 1

Im my game (AoW with Pathfinder Roles), one Character recently died (Sudden Hold). He got following choices:

Stick with his old Character:
- Raise Dead / Reincarnate with 2 permanent negative Levels.
- start a new Charakter at old Character Level -1 which is equals to same level as lowest Character Level in group.

Beeing an Druid of Obad Hai (greyhawk) he choose reincarnate.
I selected CL-1 for new Character to eliminate the urge of dropping old chars.

Getting the two negetive levels away will need some work for the group. getting raise dead and reincarnate are not so freely provided as well - the druid had been lucky that the meet the coven before his death.

Short Statement:
- new character Level should depend on your rules for Raise Dead and Reincarnate.

why drag up these old wounds?
Because maybe some day they'll move Erik to restart his campaign but using the Pathfinder rules instead?
And we'll be impatiently and eagerly awaiting for that day!

My own campain just entered Sudden Hold last week. (Running pathfinder on greyhawk)

please give us back Tyralandi !!!!!

may i get one too? pv_renard@yahoo.de

Hi,

A playercharacter(A) of mine did grapple a Doppelganger(C) sucessfully.
Another playercharacter(B) cast color spray - Doppelganger saves, Character (A) not.

HD > 5 so (A) is stunned for 1 round
What happends tu the grapple?

I ruled the grapple is broken, as stunn says drop everything held sounds like loosing control and tension.

So my question, is the Doppelganger still grappled, or can he use his weapons to attack normally?

Whats your oppinion.

Thank you very much.

Running Age of Worms, Harsh Reflection with Pathfinder Rules right now.

We were wondering if an unconscious Doppelganger would morph back to natural form as he can't concentrae on his form.
To help the players i ruled yes, but iam not sure if its ok.

Ever tried PCGEN? it has Pathfinder Modules that are very decent.

condition cards - pathfinder beta (pdf)

download

laid out in point form and ready to be printed.
there may be other sets, one for buff/debuffs and one for situational modifiers (cover, concealment, etc).

sounds interesting. Is there another way to optain these condition cards? KeepandShare doesn't to work for me somehow. I can't download the file, even after subscribing.

I would rule that sleight of hand provokes an Attack of Opportunity if noticed.

So if you got a teamworking group that steal AoO's the rogue gets away with it.

Or the rogue is just good at dodging AoO's.

The old ability of Find/Remove Traps from first addition was split into Craft Trap (with the information buried in the Craft skill) and Disable Device handling removing the trap in 3.0 and 3.5.

I can't find any info in the Rogue or in Craft on how to set adhoc traps, as the ancient skill was for. Under Craft there seems to be only info on mechanical traps -- which I consider very different from the intent of the old ability. Information may be buried later in the book, but I'd really like this to be clarified and put in one place for the ease of players and DMs to find.

Craft Trap (ie., Trapmaking) for complex devices you can bring to set up, and use Disable Device for adhoc trap creation, as well as dismantling and Opening Locks that I see was folded into it.

Thoughts?

Trapmakeing is described in the addition resources part around Chapter 9 or 10 i Think. Where Doors, and Traps are explained. But you are right, a reverence to the relevant chapter would be neat in the class and craft description as well.

I'd say that each gifted race (i.e. dwarfes for craft(mining)) should treat that skill as class skill and get one rank for free.

Another alternative would be to give them skill fokus on that skill as a free feat, as soon they've got one Rank in that skill.

This would be an easy and general rule to get the familarity form different races into sync.

Cheers
