I PM if a mistake is big enough to talk about most of the time I ignore them. If something comes up that I find my players get confused a lot I take opportunities to post rules. It is a great part of PBP.
You are on point about the problem with conveying tone.
Yep. The part that had originally taken me a while to find was the ghost touch weapons crit becuase it is neither in incorpoeal rules nor the ghost touch rules. It's in the subtype rules.
There are still lots of fights about in 'affect normally' covers crits when I'm a player I assume force does not crit. It's usually safest to assume the most conservative rules.
Also I should ma“e it clear that this was not me trying to correct you in any way. I just like when rules are posted. It has helped me learn a lot in a past. I hope it did not come off as me correcting. And, apologies if it did.
An incorporeal creature has no physical body. An incorporeal creature is immune to critical hits and precision-based damage (such as sneak attack damage) unless the attacks are made using a weapon with the ghost touch special weapon quality. In addition, creatures with the incorporeal subtype gain the incorporeal special quality.
The rest of the rules are here. In which I believe it is still unclear what normally means in, 'Force spells and effects, such as from a magic missile, affect an incorporeal creature normally.'
The blood golem was not dead and not misfortuned (different target than last round) when I tried to misfortune it, but if I get a retcon.
Tak hits the creature with a blast of stardust.
Quote:
This stardust causes the target to shed light as a candle, and it cannot benefit from concealment or any invisibility effects. The creature takes a –3 penalty on attack rolls and sight-based Perception checks. Last for 4 rounds
(Knowledge History or Local)- You can attempt to remember stories that shed light to what Gulgamodh was.
(Knowledge [arcana], Spellcraft, or Use Magic Device)- You can realign the glowing sigils and schematics.
(Appraise, Craft [sculptures or stonemasonry], Perception, or Sleight of Hand) You can find hidden buttons and mechanisms that can free Gulgamodh.
(Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Linguistics, or Perform [oratory or sing] You can improvise a phrase that encourages Gulgamodh to activate —be sure to roleplay this encouragement)
(Disable Device, Knowledge [engineering], or combat maneuver check) Or you can remove parts of the fountain that aren’t part of the original construction.

Tak sees smart people calling out demanding help, people trying the magical command words, or rationalizing. He tries something different.
Tak places his head against the giant guardian and whisper quietly,
Your city is dying. A city I love. Do you remember your purpose? We are all putting our lives on the line to protect it. Please join us.
Engineering:1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18 Nail guides the group to restore Gulgamodh by showing the team images of it in its prime.
"It will all be presented to you at the city gurads and then again at trial. But, I hear there are judges that like it want the accused cooperate. I also have the sworn testimony of a expert tracker that places you leaving the scene at the time of the crime. That last one was a fun freebie for your records."
"Well those are fresh wounds on your hands. I have sketches of your boot prints from the scene. I'm betting that mud matches too. The impressions suggest a weight of 200lb. I bet you come in what 203-204?. I have more but why should I over play my hand. Would you like to come quietly?"
"It's going to be ok. We can help. But, we need you. Is there anything you saw you know that can help us. We are team you, I, them. Please work with me."
