If the GM wants, he will always manage to kill a player or the entire party, even in an environment as easy as PFS... And especially if they’re frustrated with something. The game has to be fun to the GM as well, and I’m sure our GM here got frustrated several times as the game dragged sometimes for days without posts, mine included. That particular trap is clearly not as lethal - usually the GMs would resolve an attack against the first person in the room, or give people a chance to react after a single attack in each, these things. For my character, I particularly spelled out that T’Shar was walking in the back and letting other people in first, as to observe what was going on before stepping in, but apparently this was ignored as (like I said) the intention was to make a not-designed-to-be-as-lethal trap kill one or more characters. But it doesn’t matter - it’s just a game, bad things happen, and I’d rather use it for learning (about people to play with, etc.).

I thought someone had dragged T'Shar out of that room? I can't find it anywhere. He is far, far unconscious anyway, so if he's still in the room and taking arrows on his body on the floor, then he is extra dead and the new arrows are just pushing him into a pulp of ifrit.

As far as I understand the rules, the 12 nonlethal take me to 0 already, everything else is lethal and outright kills me as my CON isn't that high.

This creature seems susceptible to fire! - he says, alerting his companions in case they could do something about it.

Frustrated his attempt didn't seem to make any difference, T'Shar held his silence about the water. He wasn't minimally interested in swimming himself, and would do it only as a last resort.

T'Shar steps ahead, getting within 30' of the figure. The ifrit moves his arms with speed, and the environment gets warmer. A smoke cloud briefly forms around him, and finally it becomes a blast of pure burning fire flying against the creature.

The blast flies completely without direction, leaving the pyrokineticist cursing his own aim.

The ifrit is just a big hothead, certainly not interested in the wisest course of action. However, he will comply and wait if the group decides to do so; he already somewhat learned to control his will to move ahead burning everything.

Thanks GM! T'Shar usually has his spear at hands; if he didn't have his spear, then he wouldn't be able to take the AoO as he doesn't have improved unarmed strike and is considered unarmed. My apologies for not posting sooner.

As Steppinwolf gets back with them, T'Shar moves on his own. He knees down near the shut door to the southeast, then waves calling the others.
This way seems as good as any way within this maze... Let's keep moving! - says the impatient Ifrit.
Finally back! I had to clear cookies and refresh more than once, and use different browsers. Now it seems to be stabilizing in all my devices.

T'Shar does a small step ahead, then moves his arms in pure impulse - he doesn't seem to have any skill at it at all. Yet, after a lot of flames seem to be pulled towards him, the ifrit releases a flying blast of pure fire against the closest enemy he can see.

As he completed, he did a step sideways looking around. His hair seemed to start floating a little bit, as if a swift smoke was coming from underneath it.

Hah! - says T'Shar, letting out a wave of flames out of his body, that dissipates a few inches away without harming anyone - I didn't get to burn anything!
After a long sigh of frustration, he speaks back to the group.
I say we stick to our path. Maybe that's part of some test, but regardless we have our mission at hand.
He pulls his spear to get ready to move - and will do so with the group even if people decide to stray from the path.

T'Shar does a small step ahead and gathers power again, and one more time shoots his blast. He was confused - he didn't see any illusions, and certainly wouldn't hold his punches with nonlethal damage. Who ever heard of nonlethal fire?
