@ Capt. : I'm unsure, as this is now the 3rd Kingmaker group this character's been denied. Looks like I need to find out what's wrong with him, and move forward!

Male Ulfen (human) Barbarian (Scarred Rager) 1

A tall and imposing figure of a man steps in out of the weather, and into the tavern proper. Covered with a few choice furs and a warm coat, the man's musculature was hardly hidden. Bold eyes, the kind you'd find on a man with ambition, gazed out at the room with a sense of longing. Ritualized marking was across the left side of his face, making it all the more intimidating to those who were not of his 'type' as it were.

With a few good, long steps, he makes his way towards a mostly empty table, and sets his choice weapon against the wall, along with a pack of his belongings. He seated himself with every intention to relax after a long and arduous caravan trip, and leaned back until service arrived - at which he'd request water and bread, and allow himself time to rest his eyes.

Weary I am, but my travels never end. There is opportunity in the air - a chance to reclaim what is mine is closer with every day I live. He looks over the room for a moment more, smiles - though it appears wicked - and closes his eyes again. Soon, Ingvar, soon. I will have my revenge.

Won't catch me on that wagon! It's good to be the king!

I honestly wanted to try a very different route that I'm not normally fond of for Kingmaker. The concept grew its own legs and blossomed into what I made for Svalk.

I never pictured him being regal, but having innate talent for making people move (hence the ranks in Intimidate). He's still young, but that doesn't mean much in the great scheme of things... so far, anyways.

I know if I were accepted, I might consider aiming at rulership, but I'd honestly rather discuss it IC rather than OOC. It lends to more interesting groupings.

Also, my planned progression is probably straight barbarian. I haven't decided if anything is worth branching out for. Who knows? Maybe I'll pick up Cavalier down the road.

Alright, not using piece meal armor. I also forgot to mention that I can post several times a day; I will always put in at least two unless in combat, of course.

I'm hoping to get in for the long haul!

Submitting Svalk, an estranged heir to a barbarian tribe of the North.

I'll be reviewing him and probably giving him piecemeal armor appropriate to his upbringing. Nothing fancy, I assure you.

Whew, my brow's makin' beads just looking at the competition. It's going to be tough, and I don't envy you for picking from the lot. There's easily multiple parties' worth of potential here!

Svalk 'ere. Need some muscle? Got plenty of it, and the scars ta' prove it. Ol' Deadeye be praised, I'll carve a path for us ta' walk.

( Old character recycled from an old Kingmaker recruitment. Background in the profile! )

Chiming in - been trying to find a good spot for my barbarian for a small while. He's from a long time ago, before I had to take a long internet hiatus. Just changing a few minor things on his prepared sheet, and he's ready.

Background:

(Short and clean, can provide with more if requested.)

In these days, lineage means everything when you come from a clan as mighty as Svalk's. His was one of the greater bloodlines in line, for he was next on the block for chieftain when he'd last looked at things - but it was too soon, too late once he'd returned from a hunting expedition.

On return to his home, deep in the Land of the Linnorm Kings, he'd found the village in a state of confusion, the people gathered in the central ring. Once he'd made his way to them, he'd learned a vital fact - his father had been slain, and control was ousted to another, ending his line's trail to what it had been! Needless to say, the youth had a sudden rush of rage, and challenged the older male to an honor duel, to reclaim what was his birthright.

Days later, the male woke up in a cave far from home, with a single note and a pack of belongings and supplies next to him. It clearly stated: "Do not return until you are stronger than I or my successor. You are weak."

With this in his mind, Svalk stood tall, gathered his equipment together, and set to hiking across the lands, catching caravans here and there to be far from home, self-applying a mark of exile on his face's left side, crudely carved but enough for he. This led him towards the southern end of the River Kingdoms, where he'd make for himself a place of living on a settlement as a laborer, and part of the militia. In time, though, he heard of the opportunities abound in the northern parts of Brevoy, and his hard lineage called out to him. It was somewhere deep inside, that he was determined to grow in power and eventually return - and it led him to journey again, this time with a fresh twist in store for his fate - for he'd be meeting with a noble, who'd hand him a most important piece of paper...

Male Ulfen (human) Barbarian (Scarred Rager) 1

I'm sorry that I haven't gotten around to posting his entire background this weekend, but I've had UNIX studies for my final this week, and I found I was missing an assignment. I'll make sure it's up and running by tomorrow night, I promise. No more delays.

Male Ulfen (human) Barbarian (Scarred Rager) 1

Character sheet is complete, history is still in the works. I'm toying with the traits to put him there without error, and working on using actual names and such from Golarion, since immersion = win.

It's hard to find good barbarian avatars without them screaming at something.
