Buy the pdf for the AP, photoshop the images, and make your own pawns for that particular brand. That's what I did for some of the older APs. It took forever, but it was worth it. Now I have pawns for every AP, counting the ones I have now which I subscribe for.

I made pawns for almost every pathfinder image at this point because it's the best fantasy artwork ever imagined.

I tried to keep up in this thread but might have missed it - is there going to be a pawn collection made from this?

I want this earlier!!

Also, im still waiting for Carrion Crown Pawns :(
Carrion Crown pawns would be awesome! Seeing as there are many I could use like the werewolves and vampires. I hope they consider making them.

I agree. Paizo could put together a big box with some former APs that were never made into pawns - carrion crown, jade regent, second darkness, and legacy of fire would be a great foursome to make into one gigantic pawn box.

Paizo is sitting in a really good position given they have tons of artwork that has as of yet not been turned into pawns. I'd love for them to go back through some of the former APs and supplemental books to scope out potential pawns. There's plenty of great concepts out there.

Well, I was hoping to get this before Christmas but making these products isn't something to be rushed. I just hope that the Inner Sea Gods are in the collection. Also Tengus, more bird people!

I've received word from Erik Mona that this pawn collection will have many of the clerics from inner sea gods. I'm not sure about the servitors and gods themselves, however.

I agree about not rushing it. I do hope, however, that they get many of the inner sea bestiary in on this collection as well. Paizo still has a ton of great artwork that could be turned into pawns via the inner sea gods, inner sea bestiary, and advanced race guide. Hopefully we'll see some of that in this collection or future collections.

You guys pushed this back again?

I was hoping to get a few boxes for Christmas, as I'm sure many folks were.

Yay! Thanks for pointing that out. That would be so awesome! :D

20 races with 10 stat blocks each. That suggests that there's 200 pieces of art just waiting to be pawnified. Really useful art of core monsters. At my table his would definitely see a lot more use then Bestiary Boxes 2, 3 or 4.

I'd say it's almost a definite at this point. A Monster Codex pawn collection would probably sell better than the bestiary boxes simply because most gamers have a universal need for pawns/miniatures of the traditional sense.

For example, most gamers could use 20 additional orcs or trolls but do most games need 20 additional obscure characters that many people have never heard of?

You get my point. I feel some of us will be more willing to buy additional boxes of this pawn collection as well, building up larger armies to combat during a campaign, and giving more flexibility to gaming options.

A pawn collection for the Monster Codex is going to do well for Paizo. I hope it comes out next spring.

I was thinking today that Paizo might include inner sea gods with this.

Reason being:

- we usually get well over 300 pawns per large box.
- this is a large box (price-wise it implies close to 300 pawns).
- inner sea bestiary and inner sea codex combined only gave us around 100 characters total.
- adding inner sea gods would put this upcoming collection still well short of 300 pawns, but closer to 200.

That would be epic, and I don't think it's out of the question since this box features "Inner Sea" pawns.
