Hi friends, a little news today: We're starting a Patreon! Starfinder Facts has always been a labor of love, but we want to focus and invest more in our creative work, so as of today, you can now support us as Bearly Factual Productions!

We're starting small - little, achievable goals - but to start off, pledging will get us posting more, firing up Ye Olde Blog again, and even helping us with the process of commissioning art that doesn't look like it was made by a highly-talented toddler or lowly-talented adult!

If you've liked our content in the past, we hope you'll join us in this new phase of our evolution - we have a couple of big plans for after we spruce ourselves up, and we hope to announce them sooner rather than later.

Find our Patreon here!

Today, we have a sweet little guest blog by Friend Of The Facts Jake Rennels! For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Jake, he is an avid Organized Play GM, with over 125 SFS tables to his name - talking easily over 500 hours of Society games! When he's not writing his own to-be-published adventures, he serves as the Society Venture Captain for the St. Louis, MO and Western Illinois areas. You can find him on the Paizo boards under the alias FreedomSnake, on twitter @jakerennels, and on facebook /jakerennels. Now, let's see what he created for us, hmm?

Hysterically, my unconventional naming conventions and Paizo's obscenity filter don't match - so you can find the blog post at https://starfinderfacts.blogspot.com/2021/05/oh-no-we-back-on-our-bullshi t.html by simply copy-pasting and removing the space I inserted into the url :)

A bittersweet blog today: effective today, we're shuttering the blog and scaling back Starfinder Facts. But first, Jen McTeague planted a monster idea that we just HAD to design, so one last time...

Starfinder Facts presents: The Mountain Galvo, in "So Long, And Here's A Bunch Of Fish!"

This one's for all the hoopy froods out there: today, we ask ourselves "If I was a hyper-intelligent shade of the color blue, what weapons would I put on my prism-toting robotic body?"

For June, Starfinder Facts welcomes our second guest blog post - this one by the talented Alison Cybe! She gives us the Firebrand - a new theme for characters steeped in revolutionary rhetoric - and one of three themes as part of a new fundraiser giveaway!

"Giveaway, you say?" Yes, a giveaway! The steps are simple:

1.) Make a donation to Black Lives Matter
2.) Send us a screenshot of your donation and the best e-mail for us to send your Themes Of Revolution pdf. Screenshots can be DMed right to us on Twitter, or sent to starfinderfactsSPLATgmail.com!

Not only will you get your very own copy of the Firebrand, you will also receive two other brand new themes by the Starfinder Facts crew: The Dissenter, a canny street-level operative, and The Coordinator, an infosphere-riding manager of information!

We hope to see e-mails soon, so you can get to making your very own politically-engaged Starfinder characters post-haste!

Q: What's worse than one undead spellcaster?
A: A dozen alternate reality variations on the same undead spellcaster, all set to kick your ass together.

To celebrate two years of Starfinder Facts' Twitter feed, our April blog explores one man's journey from S@*$poster to Paizo Freelancer in a Starfinder Facts Blog we're calling:

You step outside of your starship and into the building.

Ah, love - that powerful emotion that sweeps you off your feet, whisks you away, and makes you believe that dumping a bunch of money directly into the AbadarCorp Holiday Consumerism Department is a responsible decision. Today's blog post is a special one to us. Timed to coincide with Australia Day - or at this point Down Under, Australia Day (observed) - a big part of this post is asking you, dear reader, to throw in all six and help out.

We don't expect all of you to do it out of the goodness of your hearts, so we worked with Savannah Hensley to create and illustrate the plasmaroo, a species of magical eco-warriors. But! You won't see that in the blog. Instead, let's make a deal...

We're going to ask you to make a donation to the Australia Zoo Wild Warriors to help with their recovery efforts, take a screenshot of your donation confirmation, and send it to us (via starfinderfactsSPLATgmail.com). In exchange, we'll send you a complimentary copy of the 2-page Plasmaroo pdf!

So - want some zanyness for your next Starfinder game? Do some good for our Aussie friends, let us know about it, and we'll give you all the tools you need to add a spacecourt of plasmaroos to your next game night!

Oh yeah, plus - we made a Hybridization biohacker field of study!

Starfinder Facts presents... Australia Day Special: Featuring Hybridization!

A booming "HO HO HO!" echoes out in the night... then the explosions start.

This holiday post from Thomas Cronin marks our first guest blog, and introduces us to the deadly Veskmas icon Scarlett Claws!

You better watch out, and you better not cry...

Starfinder Facts presents... Scarlett Claws!

You want some more? Well, here's some more!

This blog post is for all the mushroom-cloud-layin' m-----f---ers; the folks who are so cool that when they go to sleep, sheep dream about them; the ones who can make a quip, take a hit, and keep on kicking.

Starfinder Facts presents... The BAMF!

Want something spooky and malevolent for your Halloween Starfinder fun? Want to feel that tingle down the back of your neck?

Come to the blog and meet the electrogeist - magic-fueled, technology-fixated undead who would be happy to shock your players!

Sometimes, that nufriend has six hands.

Sometimes, that nufriend just wishes that they had six hands.

"Well, you better go look somewhere else!"

The only thing worse than an envoy's debilitating mockery? A pair of envoys who coordinate their debilitating mockery. Perfect for a GM who needs to cut some PC egos down to size, this familiar-looking pair of bounty hunters can show up as unimpressed allies or dangerous and obnoxious enemies.

From the minds behind parody twitter account Starfinder Facts, we've answered the question "What if a computer virus went self-replicating, gained sentience, and was statted up as a PC race?"

Amorphous shapeshifting flying spheres of UPBs, codelings are curious, intelligent, and adaptable! Whether you want them to be a unique NPC, a flavorful PC option, or a cold calculating mastermind, there's all sorts of possibilities for this artificial race.

Starfinder Facts Presents: Codelings!

Added an in-character, behind-the-scenes look at The Making Of Starfinder Valentines - enjoy!

From the minds behind parody twitter account Starfinder Facts, we've taken a journey into the Drift and epic levels for a creature sure to amaze and confound your PCs!

Is it a terrestrial duck enhanced well beyond it's natural abilities? Is it an extraplanar representation of something from beyond our mortal ability to understand? Will you face the danger of it's laser eyes, or find knowledge in it's impossibly downy feathers? That's up to you - and up the duck, of course.

From the minds behind parody twitter account Starfinder Facts, we've expanded into "more than 280-characters" content in order to present a new player race!

This one goes out to all the xenodruids with better ideas than execution, to all the people who want to play an uplifted bear that can actually fit through a spaceship door - and of course, to the fans of a certain rag-tag group of superhero-affiliated space cowboys out there.
