Sorry for my erratic posting, still not a habit of mine to check the board and with one day being exactly like the next lately time sort of just slips away from me....

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Katigar follows Bhru through the gates of the estate, scanning the shadows with caution. Her eyes catch a brief glimpse of a wiry human exiting the shadows and slipping quickly through the door. A small arm prods her thigh and breaks her focus. She nods at the dwarf, wondering again how she came to travel with such an unlikely companion.

As they enter the manor she lowers her black hood and takes stock of the other arrivals. A stoic, well built Touv woman engaged, seemingly against her will, with a plain looking well-armored male. She notes the man from the shadows. She eyes him curiously as they await their host.

Description:
Katigar has the typical greenish grey skin of the half-orc and long dark hair, twisted methodically in braids and dreads and embellished with wire and trinkets she's collected from her victories. On the small side for her kind and dressed head to toe in black armor, you might not be able to tell she were a half-orc at all if not for the glint of two white tusks and gold nose ring from beneath her hood. Her weapons of choice are a large great axe she carries on her slender back and a dagger on each hip. A woman of few words, a calculated, stern expression permanently paints her face when you can see it.

More musings for you Squuid (apologies for the info dumping lol - Greyhawk and the old Dungeon APs are my wheelhouse)

If you stick with Inquisitor - may I suggest the Umbral Stalker archetype? Would fit thematically into your long term Shadowdancer plan and also allows Darkness Domain (which also fits in with Xan Yae portfolio)??

Thanks! I'm taking a look right now, may rejig my character in this direction...definitely feels more rogue-y than my current build.

Holy smokes, lots of stuff. I settled on Inquisitor/Sanctified slayer...eventual shadowdancer. If there's any insight let me know, I'm brand new to D&D. Look forward to playing with you :)

Hi! I'm thinking of playing a rogue :)

2d7 + 4 ⇒ (6, 3) + 4 = 13
2d7 + 4 ⇒ (6, 1) + 4 = 11
2d7 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10
2d7 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1) + 4 = 7
2d7 + 4 ⇒ (7, 3) + 4 = 14
2d7 + 4 ⇒ (3, 5) + 4 = 12

Oof that sucked, might go with the point buy...
