Honzak's eyes sparkle with electricity as he focuses on the warden. An arc connects his fingertips and Dimitsi's scythe.

Meanwhle, Dimitsi swings the scythe at the arboreal, cutting deep into the trunk. The combined effort of the gnome and his eidolon cause massive damage to the hulking tree, and it slowly knees down, only to fall face-first into the snow. Whatever their face might be, that is.

Again, Thalaasi nocks an arrow and aims for the nearest boar. But the boar is too close for an effective hit. It files over, and impales the wooden statue of a bear near the fire.

From his hiding spot, Eldon lets loose twice in quick succession, and manages to land both on the boar covered in green moss. One arrow pierces the foot, but the other strikes a neck. The boar lets out a quiet grunt, and collapses into the snow.

When he confirms the two strikes, he moves back behind the building to stay out of sight.

Thalaasi speaks a quick incantation, and nocks an arrow as the tip drips acid on the snow-covered ground. He lets loose and strikes the brute in melee with Dimitsi.

Zandu's body suddenly coalesces with dark energy of the dusk, and he raises one of the torches with his mind. The torch immediately flies towards Dalton, and - as Sakura holds his hands behind his back - it strikes him in the gut.

Devin

Aftersome convincing, Devin decides to enter the swimmer competition.

The contestants swim across the nearby river. Who manages to move back and forth most times is the victor.

While he is not the fastest, he does get a slot on the podium as second.

During the post-contest celebration, Devin is invited to a contestants table. After the initial celebration, the talk turns to gossip of the recent events in town, as is tradition here. Or so it seems.

Devin overhears several statements during this time.

Therin pulls out his loaded crossbow, aims at the wounded orc, and releases the bolt.

Therin tries to aim to not his his traveling companions. The projectile merely scratches the neck and ends up lodged into a nearby log. The scratch punctures the jugular, however. The orc, already wounded by Andrezzi's strike, immediately drops his weapon to stop the flow of blood. He falls to the floor, where he expires after a few short spasms.

You all saw where the bolt landed, and can retrieve it afterwards. So that I do not waste your consumables.

Raman jumps to the lower level, wielding his maulaxe. The mercenary notices and swings morningstar. Fortunately for Raman, he misses. To counter, Raman takes a swing at the chainmail-clad man and gets him bad. With a combination of Eadric's punch and Raman's maulaxe hit, the man collapses to the ground.
