I have Aygonn Spengler, a humble elven spiritualist (Ectoplasmatist) 7, who might work nicely here. He's a ghost-fusser, the sort who makes ghosts fussy, in a very rational and reasonable fashion. He may have a habit of asking whether he can have a sample of your brain tissue, but he means well...

I'd like to second Chak Chak's sentiments: thank you for picking this up and running a great game!

How much does Vim and Chak need to come back to life? Spengler would be willing to offer some of his filthy lucre to help, but he's going to want to spend a long time asking them uncomfortable questions about their afterlife.

Seriously.

I'm glad I got to play this before I run it. I'd heard it was hard, now I think I can see the spots where you could either run it or ruin it if you're not careful!

Criminitley, Trigger! I can definitely understand how that scenario can be so lethal. Until you get the hint that you need to place the discs, you can get murderized really darn fast.

Spengler sighs deeply and closes each of their eyes. He murmurs a few words in Elvish.

Elvish:
"You did not die in vain. Your sacrifice will be remembered and your name will be added to the Wall of Names. Long will bards sing of your heroism and I will raise a glass to you whenever I drink. Also, I am totally selling your stuff. Thank you."

He shoulders one of the bodies and motions for Rogar to shoulder the other.

"Let us leave this place and head home."

"A little madness now and then is treasured by the wisest men." Spengler sing-songs. He moves and supports Rogar while he places the discs.

Spengler nods at Rogar, then takes the White Circle disc. "This one is the Moon, I think." He places it in the first spot.

The purple one he holds up to the last spot for the Stars. "I think this is the stars, which means that last one is the Sun. I think."

He puts them in the places he indicated or helps Rogar do the same!

Can Spengler see why the disc isn't moving?

Edit: Trying a theory, Spengler thrusts one of the discs he can hold to Arletta saying "Take this and run back to the slots on the wall!" He then tries to pick up the other disc!

Intent is to get there, grab the discs, run back and place them!

Spengler looks at his friends, falling before the serpentine menace. He glances at the thing and ponders briefly how he would explain himself to the Decemvirate if he fled.

"Rogar, let's show this prehistoric b!tch how we do things in Absalom."

Which door has the slots for the coins on it? Can you indicate on the map?

Flail! Cease your pointless telepathic grumbles or I will give you back to the fighter who is actually trained to use such weapons (instead of myself, who is hampered by a lack of proficiency in such weapons as well as a sudden weakness of spirit when I hold you.) In fact, Rogar, cease YOUR grumbling and take this accursed flail and use it! You are by far the most suitable wielder to what is probably a very useful part of this adventure."

Spengler hands the grumbling flail back to Rogar and resummons his own ectoplasmic weapon.
