I actually own this mini, as he was going to be an alternative mini for my cleric. I at least used the backpack he came with, but stuck it on the cleric I chose :)

That's interesting, but 50+ €? No chance of selling the pdf instead?

The PDFs are available for purchase elsewhere. It could be under contract to only sell there. I too would love to pick this up, but cost and time are preventing it. I hope Cubicle 7 will continue to sell it over the next few years. The devs are planning to make additional books to supplement it.

No doubt about that, and understandably so. It's quite niche... if it even has a niche!

Oh man... this guy, while a bit more ranger...esque (dangeresque? too?)), he has a certain flavor that if painted right could totally fit a pali. And he's a few bucks cheaper too. Decisions, decisions. I'm still open to other options if someone finds one.

This is the first thing that comes to mind. A little pricey for miniatures, but the quality is top notch.

So I've got a build in mind, but I've found it quite difficult to find the right miniature for him. So I look to the pros on this board:

My character is a divine archer paladin of Aasimar race (a human mini will do, even an elf, as long as he's not too skinny; I can sand off the ears). Oh and if at all possible: short hair. I've seen some perfect female archers, but a huge lack of male archer minis. I'd like something more on the lines of a Tower Guard, where's he got some armor, and less hood action. But if you've found one that might fit that description, I'm willing to take a look. I've seen so many miniatures sites my eyes are about to bug out.

Plus it's very important for characters who deal in diplomacy or scholarly pursuits.

I personally started roleplaying with Star Wars, and with experience playing with droid PC's, I perceived constructs to be similar, where if, like a vehicle, enough of the important bits still existed, one could have it rebuilt. But I know this isn't Star Wars and these are not droids. I also get that it might be a balance issue with all the other bonuses it gets.

Look closer. It's one entry for the Movanic Deva, and another one for the Monadic Deva. They're two different creatures!

Semi-related... but for inspiration of water fights, I highly recommend the three episode Mon Cal arc from Star Wars The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. The story is completely under water and there are a ton of very inspiring scenes in it worth checking out. The animation of that show have come a long, long way from the awful pilot movie. The three episodees even managed to redeem Gungans for me. Gungans! For real. Oh plus there's a young ACKBAR! :)

I was looking for this yesterday as well. My feeling is they are still working on it, due to the amount of corrections and clarifications. Looking forward to it!

I do enjoy them as well. I stash them away next to my Days of Wonder and Fantasy Flight catalogs, which are right next to my stack of board games for game night. It gives something to look at during down time. AND they remind me of pre-internet days as a child, pouring over the Sears Christmas catalog.

I'm shocked this thread is already in the archives after only being seven days old. At any rate, I'm personally looking at building a divine hunter, and that's how I came across your thread.

I would look at possibly dipping a level in Luring Cavalier to get the Far Challenge ability. But that's if you are looking for the concept of being a "puller" for the group.

Not to be 'that guy', but I could see support for all of them to be solo adventures. Jade Regent gives you a whole caravan of NPC's that could effectively be your party. There's plenty of flavor in a Lawrence of Arabia kinda way for Legacy of Fire.

I personally don't see why not. But would it not still cost the same move action to do so?

This may of been mentioned before but best to cover it again rather than miss it entirely: The store links in the sentence "Purchase the Pathfinder Core Rulebook or Bestiary." underneath the left navigation are broken.

Others have said the table in the left nav is broken. In the latest Firefox, I'm not encountering that, though it is annoying that one can't scroll down to the bottom when one of the "hardbacks" is expanded. It's probably meant to be like that, but its off-putting at first because I don't see anyone else on the web doing that on purpose.

This was written a little strangely, so you may already know this, but the eagle has two talon attacks, each attack is a talon that deals 1d4 damage. So the only time you will roll two d4's is when the eagle full attacks and hits with both of them. (Don't forget the bite, also)

Yep. I knew this already. The bird can only attack with all three attacks if it can perform a full round action.

I've got a CL3 hawk (eagle) companion for a druid.

CORE RAW says that the Eagle/Roc/Hawk Animal Companion has 2 talon attack of 1d4 (rolling 2 d4's). Yet, when you look at Bestiary's "Table 3–1: Natural Attacks by Size", it shows 1d3 for a small creature using talons.

So is one of them incorrect, or am I missing something? Thanks!

Hmm, this isn't available on my Android Market, thus I hadn't heard of it. I have a 2.2.2 phone. Either one you go with, they are better than Adobe Reader!

Also, I HIGHLY recommend purchasing ezPDF Reader as a far, far better improvement over Adobe's horrible Reader app. It is well worth the $2. Besides one other app, its the only one I've put money down for. It has already paid itself back in usefulness for me very quickly. It's gotta be embarrassing when a third party app exceeds their own.

Oh! It has a dock and water source. This would go VERY nicely with the docks and Waterfront Tavern :D

A friend of mine brought up a very good point to which I second the notion: Is there an official PFS character sheet download option without our Paizo account info (name and email) on it? I totally get the use for stuff through the store being personalized, but is there just a raw one that can be downloaded for the sake of giving out to new players as a PFS GM that wouldn't include your personal info?

Perhaps it is on the site, but its not easily found by yours truly.

As much as I absolutely want it, I'll have to wait until funds allow for it... or Christmas. So stoked for it.

As far as I can see, all 21 files are there, and were there on Monday when I downloaded it, including "Seltyiel - Magus.png".

I don't remember there ever being a different iconic picture for him than is present in the pack.

The one in the pack is technically the painting from the core book as the Eldritch Knight. He got a new rendition in his Ultimate Magic appearance.

Technically "Magus Seltyiel" is still missing. While it is the same character, I do like the newer alt painting. The 102 KB jpg version we have from the blog will do for now though. :)

We currently have no plans to revise our GM Screen.

I wasn't really expecting you all to. In that case, I'll add it to my "Projects I'm Kidding Myself That Will Actually Ever Get Done" List.

I highly suspect the series will end with Anakin thinking he killed her by accident, being another step in the road to the Dark Side. She'll actually be shown as taken away against her will by slavers or someone else in a weakened state. We will then not see her again until her adult form in The Dark Times TV series. It's there she'll be a character fleeing her former master with whatever Jedi remnant is around. Because of this, it is unlikely The Dark Times won't start up until after the final season (season five) of The Clone Wars is over.

Yep, it's in the same ratio. I got to see the Savage Oppress trilogy in a theater for a special charity event. They spliced all three episodes together, and it was SO MUCH better than pilot movie that scared every fan away. The only way to get adult fans to see the series is word of mouth that it's far, far better now. I want to see more clone-centric stories. Those seem to be the strongest written.

The last time this happened, at least for my subscriptions at the time, was for the Inner Sea Primer. The book arrived to my door without my seeing the final image, as it was posted up late.

In any case, I'm real excited to see this book cover too. And the next.

Pen and Paper Games has a great player and game finder as well.

It'll surely connect with the pirate ship from the month prior. It would nice if it matches with at least some of the bigger ones from Ships.
