Thanks GM! Level 3! :D Chronicle looks good. While I am bowing out for the next go through, once y'all hit level 3, I'd be happy to touch base and see if I have the bandwidth for another game!

Seeing just about everyone converge on Jiang Fei, Skithryx drops his crossbow and joins the fray. Running up, he pulls out his sickle and points at Krall. "Stupid Ogre no match for smart Truebloods!"

"Good plan, good plan!" Skithryx says as he draws his crossbow and fires a shot past Skyxa. "They come to us with holes!"

"Skithryx, I have a question," he announces. "What is it fleshies do again for Princesses? Bow-wow?" He drops to his knees and bows several times.

"Did I do it right?" he asks, standing up. "I notice you are clear, but also here. Why is that?"

At the mention of "traps," Skithryx drops onto all fours and begins crawling around. "If they are here, I will find them!" he promises before inspecting the way to the throne room.

I'd like to keep going with y'all, but I "need to let my dance card empty out a bit" too :/

"Easy! We find quickly, is no problem," Skithryx assures Mai Chun. "But we travel so very long and have such hunger, maybe first we have lunch?" he asks innocently. A bowl and spoon appear in his hands, his eyes go wide, and he tries his hardest to pout just a little.

Skithryx jumps from table to table before finally landing on the one behind the monk getting kobold-piled by his brethren. "OGRE SCARES THE FOE!" he shouts as he tries to knee the boy in the chest.

Skithryx staggers backwards in pain, but quickly shakes it off. Feinting to the right, but tucking and rolling to the left, he makes his way to the other side of the foolish fighter. Who charge into foes like this? Only fleshies do!

As soon as one of his brood takes up a position across from him, he unleashes a mighty attack! "Ogre scares the fleshy!" he calls out, using a tail assisted jump to get high enough for his knee to reach the man's stomach.

Tumble to try to avoid an AoO, ready for flank (which would add 2 to the roll).

"Maybe make half water though? We not want them to die!" Skithryx adds, laughing as uproariously as he can, pounding on the table and rolling on the floor.

"Why waste time? Teach and we eat! I think Ogre big and dumb. Is that how we fight to?" Skithryx asks, scarfing down the meal. Setting the empty bowl down, he raises his claws in the air and stomps around the room. "ME BIG OGRE. DUMB AND GREEN AND LOUD."

He recomposes himself. "...did I do good Ogre?"

Skithryx smacks Krall's hand. "One dumpling?" he sneers. "No. We order ten dumpling. Each. Please."

"Ok, we have map now AND he say we don't have map! I think we win-win, we go now, yes?" Skithryx asks, nervously looking at the guards surely making their way over.

Lol, I'm sure there is a Scooby-Doo gif that'd do nicely here!

Skithryx shrugs his shoulders. "Here for map, don't care what else happen," he admits. "What do fleshies say? Catch two two? Don't know what two they catch, but other fleshies seem to know. We take map and then you fix your problems. Win and win to me!"

Skithryx doesn't really care what happens to Jianghong, but more importantly he doesn't want this on his conscious. The choices, as he sees it: Do the "wrong thing" and let him go so he can help his family and live free. Do the "right thing" and turn him in so his family can stay in debt, he stays miserable, and Zheng loses his job. He'd rather have the map right now and run off into the night.

Skithryx raises a little claw in the air before directing it at the flailing thief. "Behold! The might of TRUEBLOOOOOODS!" Leaping into the air, the Kobold lands on the lip of the fountain and inhales deeply.

Perhaps anticlimactically, nothing but dense fog pours from his mouth as he exhales onto the thief. Quickly, however, the water around the thief starts to form a sheet of ice.

Skithryx has the Frost Spitter trait. Even if it doesn't apply, I think it's cool :)

Skithryx scoops up the ornate scroll case as he continues the chase. Trying to save time, instead of going over the hedges, he attempts to slip through them. This heavy, don't know how long I hold it!

"Thief!" Skithryx whispers urgently to his fellows. With the window still open, the little Kobold scampers after the shadow and launches himself out of the window.

Skithryx uses the hedges to his advantage and leads the way to the offices. His loose, dark robe helps the white scaled reptilian melt into the night. Mighty Kobolds show fleshies how bad their locks and traps are!

If T10 works for you, he'll be doing that in the future.

Laying on his back, belly full of food, Skithryx shares his thoughts. "We see only copy of map. We should sneak around and find real one!"

Looks like we're going to have to poke around without the teachers knowing. Perhaps the sneaky people sneak in, the not-so-sneaky people hang around to distract any guards who get curious, and our Paladin guards our rooms while we all go for a collective, nighttime bathroom break? :P

Skithryx is entirely too distracted by the map and the prospect of food to be of any use. Between doodling on his shoddy replica of the replica map and the occasional drool, it is unlikely the bearded teacher is impressed by him.

Once the tour ends, he'll volunteer to go fetch food while lodging is arranged.

"When is time for food? Is it now? I think it is now. We go to market for food then come back!" he explains, giving a look to his allies.

"Yes, maps! I have maps, see?" Skithryx says, pushing a handful of crumbled papers with crude, but colorful drawings at Jianghong. "Maybe you have some and I can make more!"

"Demm always ask good question," Skithryx points out, nodding his head. "I stay in house with cook!" Don't see what we're looking for. Even with tour.

"Before second breakfast, you show us inside buildings too?"

"How you know we come to visit? I like tour! Tour now!" Skitrhyx cheers, pulling out a notepad and his brochure. He ticks off a box that reads "Calligraphy School" and, curiously, his tail starts swaying side to side.

For the record, Skithryx would have spent those two weeks leaving multiple, daily tripwire traps for Yue Xin :P

"...Dogs live in palace?" Skithryx guesses, peeved at the ridiculous question. We do fireworks, now he does the rest!

Skithryx also grabs a white and violet rocket, then quietly follows after the others. "Back to the mean man!"

Skithryx fires a bolt at the... fire, but it ricochets of the wall and into the ground. "It's ok, I try again!"

Skithryx begins scribbling and scrawling as fast as he can!

Skithryx sits down with his legs straight out. Between them, he has a few pieces of paper and some charcoal. "Ready, ready, ready!"

Skithryx grabs one of the fireworks. "They explode! What fun. No green though?" He looks at his allies, frowning. "So we blow up in sky then tell crazy man we find nothing green? Maybe more somewhere else?"

Skithryx pulls out his iron bar and shapes it into a crowbar. He hands it to Skyxa. "Again, again, I help!"

Lol a strength check: the bane of our small-sized party! XD Our strength scores range from 8-10!

Skithryx creeps behind Skyxa, his dark shield out and a hood over his head. "Fleshies easy to sneak from at night," he says with a chuckle.

"Chimney look better than other buildings. We go see them first?" he suggests.

Same deal with his perception!

Skithryx sticks his tongue out and makes a face at Yue Xin while he leaves with the others. Hurty trap then, not just tripwire. Maybe tripwire INTO hurty trap! Telling the Grand Ma about you.

"HoW wIlL yOu EvEr EeAd WoRdS wRoT oF gReEn FiRe WhEn YoU cAn NoT rEaD wOrDs WrIt In BlAcK iNk?" Skithryx sasses him in Draconic. Miffed at the affront, he crosses his arms and waits for the others to end the suffering that is the man's presence. We show him. Then maybe he has accident later.

"Or Draconic!" Skithryx says in his native tongue. "Would it kill fleshies to speak real language?" he grumbles.

Skithryx looks at the well then back at the lake and back at the well. He shakes his head. Fleshies dig hole. No fish in hole!

Nevertheless, his hand rests on a rounded object underneath his baggy cloak and he stands behind Demm to form a queue. Just in case.

"Ok, ok, I come too, but only if there's more food!" Skithryx bargains.

The order it presents itself in the scenario is my vote!

"Can read squiggles, but not those squiggles," Skithryx admits. "Grand-Ma can maybe read squiggles, we give to her?"

While they deliberate, he spends his time enjoying the map that's been recently pulled off of the wall. Very good, make many plans with map! Many secret traps...

"I am master trapsmith!" Skithryx boasts, pleased with both his work and the recognition for it. Just not always see them before bad thing happen...

"Take all of it?" he asks the group, not having quite committed to searching the room. Let fleshies look, why us? We hunt bear!

Skithryx grins at the telltale signs of a trap. "YES!" he cheers as he swiftly pulls out bar of iron riddled with plates and spikes. Twisting it around to a useful shape, he zealously gets to work.

"There? Why there? Stupid! Should go here! Trap is to kill, not only give small hurt! GAH! It pinch me! Nonononononono, oh its ok now," he mutters as he tries to dismantle it.

T10 for a 27 to hopefully make the trap useless!

No worries! Two questions: Does Trapspotter work even if you check for traps? We suspect there is a trap there. Can Skithryx just take 20 to search for this trap then?

"Disappointed no traps," Skithryx moans. If no traps, then nothing important here...

He sulks a little as the group waits for Kaidynn to finish his spell.

Kaidynn mentally reaches for a blue crystalline egg, and the egg begins to glow with a bright indigo hue.

Care to share the story on this one? Is the egg real? Is this all in Kaidynn's head?

"See? Hunt bear easy!" Skithryx says as he puts his crossbow away and straps his shield in place. "Check for traps now, maybe door locked!" he says cheerfully before getting to work.

Tower
Skithryx tilts his head at Skyxa. "Guard tower from up here?" he asks :P

Bear
He joins in the sneaking, opting to take his shield off in favor of using his crossbow. Kill bear from far away. Who fight bear where bear is strong?

As the assault on the bear begins, he fires a pair of bolts at the beast.

"You talk to worms too many. Bear at a state, not a tower!" Skithryx explains to Gynnezz, before joining Krall in scaling the tower. When he makes it to the top, he ties off and drops down a line of rope.
