Kasatha Mystic 1 (priest of Talavet)
Hi, there,
apologies for having been silent for so long. Between our old GM dropping out of the game, myself having some time issues and having probably bitten off more than I could chew (starting 3 games simultaneously, one of them with a new rulesset), I lost focus and put this game here to the sideline, so to speak.
As the time problem still persists and as it seems that you're doing fine without me, I would rather forfeit the game, if noone objects to it. Just didn't want to cause any wrong impressions, so again, apologies for not posting anything.
S'karu
Kasatha Mystic 1 (priest of Talavet)
"Great, let's weave a tale of honor, courage and the destruction of our enemies." S'karu continues to give what he thinks is a rousing speech to encourage his companions, trying to hide the feeling of helplessness as he has nothing valuable to add to the situation by himself.

"Good thinking, Riker! Seems like we have an able engineer on board. Tell me if you need some help."

"I have not much experience with starships, an I don't know too much about the technical stuff, so it might better if I am doing the communications."
seems like the captain's role is the only one where I can even try to be helpful especially as I think about to amp up the social skills in the future. But as it doesn't feel right for S'karu to call himself captain let's better go with communications officer ;D

Again, one of those ugly 24 hour shifts rear it's ugly head. I'll try to come by tomorrow morning before I go to work, but after that, I won't be able to post before sunday, 8 AM (CET).

I'm spending 2 RP, one to stabilize and the second to regain consciousness with 1 HP, after that, I cast Mystic cure on myself.
healing: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
"That would not have been a satisfying end to that tale" the Kasatha mutters, after he has used the mystical energies of the universe to heal himself. Luckily the fight has already ended and his companions have already been greeted by a group of Ysoki. S'karu steps to the others, crosses both his pairs of arms over his torso and bows to the others.
"I apologize for failing you in this combat and hope to prove myself worthy next time."
Then as if nothing had happened he rises up and reacts to Bonrakuros suggestion.
"I agree with you, we should make haste to find that ship, and learn more about our lost colleagues."

well, actually I was hoping that he would miss with that AoO because as I understand it, the spell would fizzle otherwise and have no effect. I had unluckily posted before I saw that my guarded step wouldn't bring S'karu out of his opponents reach, and didn't want to edit afterwards (would have been kinda cheating to me).

S'karu cries out in pain when the simultaneous attack of ghoul and thug nearly bring him down. "Could use some help!" he presses through his scarf, then he brings some distance between himself and his attacker, before calling on the mystical energies of the universe to protect him from further harm.
Move action: Guarded step
Spell: Reflecting armor

S'karu follows Bonrakorus example, climbing down the ladder and directly stepping to the side, so that the others can follow. Then he fires a shot at the thug standing left to the central structure.
Miss chance; 1-20 are bad
Hit or miss: 1d100 ⇒ 70
Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 9 NL damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Kasatha Mystic 1 (priest of Talavet)
Without hesitation, S'karu follows his companions, using his four hands to climb down the ladders with a surprising speed.

"Just wait a sec." the Kasatha calls behind Bonrakorus back, holding his voice low so as not to be heard by any other bystanders.
"Just remembered something about the Vat Gardens. A rumor I heard that the Ysoki running this would use corpses as fertilizers, so this Exegara going here to get skeletons suddenly starts to make sense to me. Though I still have no idea what she would want to do with it."
Kasatha Mystic 1 (priest of Talavet)
"We're here to collect those Starfinder insignias you offered to our organization. And just out of curiosity, we'd also like to know where do you got them?"
S'raku keeps his voice neutral, though he's making sure not to stand between the two Vesks in case Julzakama should react to Bonrakoru's challenge in the wrong way.

I need to ask that: Are you the bearded or the beardless version? :D

Next to the Vesk, two pairs of arms motionlessly hanging from the lean torso covered by what seem to be the clothings of a scholar, his face half-hidden behind a red scarf, a Kasatha has listened to the Venture-captain's report.
"I have heard of this pawnbroker. Not a nice guy, it seems, and no one I would normally trade with, but allegedly a coward, so if he doesn't talk, there might be ... ways ... to convince him otherwise."
S'karu nods to Arvin.
"This sounds like there is an interesting tale to hear that should not be lost in the Vast. Doy you have information where we can find this Julzakama?
Oh, and I'm S'karu, and I'm glad to make your acquaintance.",
he adds, looking to the other Starfinders in the room.

you're probably right. Still, I settled for a Kasatha Mystic (priest of Talavet) in the meantime (if Luthor would have gone the mystic route, I'd probably decided for a soldier instead ^^), as I have to work nightshift (german time) tonight and I'd like to have my character finished before the game actually starts tomorrow. And as I have nothing heard from Luke_Parry yet, I fear that I couldn't do that otherwise.

Wormy here, I'm using that avatar in lack of a better one for the moment, still going with my concept announced above.
