Female High Elf of Rivendell

"Ho there, Man of the West! We come upon you, hidden in this house of carnage, and give you our trust because you are a kinsman of our companion; and you treat us thusly? Faded, indeed, is the courtesy of fabled Numenor, that you would speak to us in such a manner when all we have done is come to lend our aid. Bold, indeed, is any Man that would speak so to one of the Noldor, who have fought the Enemy longer than any other save those that rule in Valinor."

Sirothel stands forward and it almost seems as if there is some prideful fire urging her towards these words.

Awe: 2d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (3, 1) + (10) = 14

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Insight: 1d12 ⇒ 4
I know where my next AP are going...

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel eyes the man for a moment before relaxing her draw.

"Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo, Ranger. I would not war with one known to Morwenn, or indeed any that walk the path of your people. We will have peace, if I have my say."

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel moves with the group, bow at the ready.

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Hunting: 1d12 ⇒ 11

Sirothel has spent much of her life in Imladris, where the bounty of the land is abundant; she has studied lore and war, not the ways of field and beast. She does her best merely to keep up with her companions and not get in their way.

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Have a great holiday!

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Travel: 3d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (1, 3, 1) + (12) = 17
Auto-success with my 12; I will give my bonus die to Primrose; that should let her succeed on hers. Adair, perhaps give yours to Waylon?

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Heard and understood, GM

Lore: 3d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (4, 5, 5) + (3) = 17
Ordinary Success

Female High Elf of Rivendell

"Then let us be away. We will have need to be wary; of old, the Free Folk strove against the foul Witch-king in the North Downs. Where precisely is he located? It is not a small locale. When we go there, we must first pass the Trestlespan, but there may yet be grave danger lurking past the homes of Men..."

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel follows the group outside, wishing to hear more.

As she does so, she thinks to herself of what might be happening. She is one of the Eldar, scion of some of the Wise, and mighty in her own way. There may, after all, be something in Bree-land, where the progeny of the Edain that did not settle Beleriand came in the elder days.

Lore: 3d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (5, 4, 1) + (6) = 16

Ordinary success; Enemy of Sauron and Elven-lore might be applicable

Female High Elf of Rivendell

"Well met again, friends. Have you found anything that might guide our feet?"

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel pursed her lips, thinking.
”I do not know if political is strictly correct...my own thoughts counsel me that the raid was a distraction or a pretext. They were looking for something, or someone.”

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel's jaw tightened.
"Are the people here safe, then? Should we be making this place defensible?"

Female High Elf of Rivendell

"Then, Master Lister, perhaps you should not send many men. Perhaps...a small group, full of valour and righteousness, to cut the head off the snake. If we can find the head."

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel looks back and forth, following the conversation and events but saying little; she is still clearly on the lookout for more danger, as her hands are never far from her bow.

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel glances down at her raiment, the fine cut of her Elven clothing clearly marking her as an outsider.

"I really wouldn't know."

Female High Elf of Rivendell

So sorry to hear. I'm dealing with a similar situation myself. My sympathies to you and yours. Stay strong!

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel smiles, then nods towards the Sylvan Elf.

"Well met it is, to find one of my kind so far from our homes. I am named Sirothel. How fares your lord Cirdan?"

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Party eeeeeelf

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel nods at Morwenn.

"Well met, Dunadain! I will follow your lead, for indeed, the situation seems dire! Let us be away before we are overwhelmed!"

Sirothel follows, alert for more foes.

Female High Elf of Rivendell

"Courage, friends! This foe shall not take you!"

With that, Sirothel pulls back hard on her bow, hoping to send an arrow not simply into, but through the Shadow-cursed monstrosity before her.

Called Shot- Pierce: 3d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (6, 6, 6) + (12) = 30
Uuuuuuuuuum. Well then. That's 25 Endurance Damage and an injury test against TN 16

Female High Elf of Rivendell

7 Endurance if it hits. I will spend Hope if it does not.

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel takes careful aim, sighting down her bow. She saw Free Folk engaged in combat with one of the horrors of the ancient world, and she did not hesitate.

"Fly from here, fell minion of Shadow! The Firstborn still oppose you! Fly, or be slain!"

Attack Roll: 3d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (2, 5, 5) + (8) = 20

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel is not one for stealth. She is one of the Noldorin, mightiest of all the children of Iluvatar that are bound to the world. She rushes forward, intent on finding out what is occurring. She remains aware as she does so, attempting to discern what is occurring.

Awareness: 2d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (1, 3) + (2) = 6
Athletics: 2d6 + 1d12 ⇒ (5, 4) + (5) = 14

Her main thought, however, is given to closing the distance.

Should be success on Athletics

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Switching weapons is just part and parcel of your turn. You can still only attack once but going from Weapon to weapon or switching between two handed or sword and shield just occurs.

Rather than use Staunchinng Song, you could use the Rally Comrades combat task, which lets you restore lost Endurance with a Battle or Inspire roll, I believe.

Of course the mileage in Tarandor's games might vary so anything I just said is not necessarily the way it'll work in this campaign! But them's the basics

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Sirothel, hearing the tell-tale sounds of battle, drilled into her through centuries of training as a scion of the House of Glorfindel, makes her way forward. It is entirely possible that the Men that she knows of nearby are in danger, and she would not see them fall to the hands of some dire Enemy. She readies her bow and moves forward, preparing to deal death to any foe that rears it's head.

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Busy day, on it now!

Female High Elf of Rivendell

Figured I would dot in here. 'Lo, mates!
