Not that I want to sound like I'm rushing you or anything but have you come to a decision on what happens to this game. If you need more time that's fine, I just thought that I would check and see where things are at.

Sialea looked at the man in surprise, how did he even get down here, let alone know a quicker way than they did. It was rather surprising and not in a good way. Sialea kept her guard up as she eyed the man warily and asked, "how did you find a faster way down here?"
Sialea focused on what she had just learned and mentally conveyed to her companions that only a few of the cultists were wlling to side with them or stay out of any fighting and was about to respond to teh android's question when the grinding sound came from the west. Sia's gave snapped nervously to the west to see what might be causing the noise and she considered what she knew of the machines to try and determine a cause.
Sialea was relieved that Ausk joined them and reached her mind out to him as she looked around at this sanctuary in interest.
Ausk:
Sialea's voice appeared in Ausks mind once more as she thought to him, Morning Ausk, sorry we're late, or furry little companion was infected by something and we had to restore the sterilization chamber to heal him before we came here. Her thought took on a questioning tone as she asked, Did you have success in passing word to others of a mind like to your to either help or stay out of any fight that occurs? She looked around in interest as they went at the piles of machines parts all aroudn them. Her eyes were caught by all of the lights and unidentifiable machines but of particular interest were the table with floating light structures above it and the big black doors with lights around the frame. As they reached the priestess she recognize that she was likely the same as Edynn, and android, and sent her thoughts to her companion.
Edynn: Do you know her? Any idea how to approach her and avoid having to fight her?
Sialea nodded at Hackfoot and said, "yes, we said we would after all." She looked down at Inlé, "We'd have been here earlier but we had to treat Inlé for an infection he got from the tiny plant people we ran into yesterday." She smiled brightly, "Fortunately he's all better now."
Finally releasing Inlé, Sialea said, "Yes, we'd best get to meeting the cult. by the way, some of them may be on our side, at least one of the half-orcs is." She smiled sweetly, "I made a deal with him and told him if there were like minded cultists to have them either help or sit out of any fighting that may occur."
Relieved that Inlé came through the process apparently unharmed Sialea drops down to her knees and catches him during one of his hops, pulling him in close and hugging him tightly to her generous chest. Relief radiates through the emotional bond with everyone and she says, "I'm glad you're alright Inlé."
Sialea was relieved to see that the area was no longer electrified and approached the decontamination chamber cautiously. Once she was sure it wouldn't start zapping them again she bent to her work on the device. Sia had her tools out and was double checkin everything she reasonably could to make sure it wouldn't kill her furry friend when activated and after some time decided it was as good as she could get it.
Sialea's eyes lit up at the mention of the decontamination chamber and she nodded saying, "Yes, that's a brilliant idea!" She frowned slightly in concern as she said, "If it works correctly. I don't know what it might do to you if it doesn't." Her expression shifted slightly again as she stood and began to pace thinking out loud, "I need to check the connections, make sure..." Her words continued in a mumble of technical jargon that made little sense to most anyone who heard it but the gist to those who did was it just needed to be check for faults and make sure the safeties were still in place before using it. Her deliberations over Sia looked up at the group as if noticing they were still here and said, "If we're doing this now we'd best get it done. We do have a meeting with crazed cultists to keep afterall."
As they prepared to set out Sialea was suddenly concerned as Inlé held his stomach in pain. She wanted to help her friend but knew there was little she could do to help him. She wasn't trained in healing, that was Celen's job. Instead she tried to send comfort through the emotional bond and take away some of the bunny man's fear to help keep him calm. After a few moments of silence from Celen she looked at him and asked, "Celen? Can you help him or do we need to fall back and return to the temple for aid?"
After a night's rest Sialea woke with the barely remembered tatters of an amazing dream quickly vanishing from her mind. It had felt so real yet there was no way it could ave been. The remnants faded quickly from her, lost in the fog of her past, and she began to meditate for a time to arrange her mind. As she did she let her powers reach out to her friends and connect with their emotions weaving a link between them and her. She would be able to push their emotions, to an extent, to help them if circumstances allowed. Any who resisted the connection felt that the weaving simply frayed apart and was lost with no ill effects. When Sia was finished meditating she ate breakfast and listened to the discussion of how to approach the cultists. At the question of her stealthiness Sia laughed, those with the emotional bond could feel the humor vibrate through the connection pleasantly. She gestured to her nearly naked form and asked, "Do I look like someone who goes anywhere unnoticed?" She smiled and said, "I can try to be stealthy but I have no great skill at it."
Sia considered where to ho and then said, "I think there are two options. Either we return to teh surface to rest, which would take a lot mroe time than I think we need to, or we go back to the previous level. I believe there was a room with some beds i it. We can see if we can lock the doors and use that place to rest for the night."
Sialea considered the offer to stay overnight and what that might mean for them. It could simply get them killed or it could given them a better idea of what they had to deal with. She realized that Ausk might be able to help turn the odds in their favor when the fighting started. She let her thought's touch his again and asked him a question while she said, "I thank you for your offer but I think we would be more comfortable finding someplace separate for the night and return in the morning." Ausk: Sia's mind touched the half-orc's again and she thought to him, "Are there others like you who are dissatisfied with the way things are here? Would they be interested in an offer similar to what I made you? I don't think Papa could take them all on but I think he can find people who would work with them. You are, of course, going to get a spot working with Papa, I promised you after all. If violence occurs, and I hope we can avoid it, we don't need them to fight for us, just to stand aside and not get involved in it."
half-orc: Sialea's mental thoughts frowned slightly at the mention of what had happened with the priestess and knew the woman had just made that one up to get him to quit leering at her. The fact that he had a dascination for the technology was interesting information and that it was the main reason he joined this cult as Sia was becoming to see it was potentially useful. [b]"So you aren't so much committed to the religiong of Hellion as you are the fact the high priestess gave you a chance to learn about technology?"[/i] There was a definite question in her thoughts and she had a plan forming, one that might help to even the odds.
"Would you be tempted to leave the followers of Hellion if you had a chance to study and work with technology directly, learn what makes it tick?" Sia was curious if such an offer would work and felt for this poor exile, "My pap is well known in the town above and works with the machines alot, he might have a use for another apprentice, especially one who's big and strong like you are, as my little sister and I aren't strong enough to lift some of the things we work with. He'd also be willing to teach you about the technology and how it works." She gave a mental smile of amusement then and continued, "You could also leer at me and think all the lascivious thoughts you want, within reason, as long as you don't direct them towards my little sister." Her mental voice was stern then, "If that happened I would have to melt your brain." She said the last as a warning as opposed to a threat.
Half-Orc:
Sia's thoughts trailed off for a moment as she verbally responded to Hackfoot then picked up again with the half-orc's mind, "It seems that a god taking that stance might be in for problems if all of his followers get old and die without producing children to raise in the faith. Is it just that he is against lustful thoughts or against procreation altogether?" As Hackfoot said their "True God" was what made them capable of winning Sialea knew they were destined to fail...or were they? She wasn't sure. Something about this still bothered her and she looked at her companions, reaching out to them mentally, "Should we go speak with this high priestess or deal with these guys first. If we end up fighting her and leave them behind us they'll probably attack us and get us killed. On the other hand I don't want to kill them just because they might stab us in the back later." There was a pause on her thoughts then, "Also, do we want to deal with her right now or rest first? I'm nearly out of magic and not of much use in any future fights." half-orc: Sialea had drawn her thoughts away for a moment affter hearing the half-orc's response and they now returned as she asked him, "So I'm Sialea and I'm curious what got you interested in worshiping Hellion?"
Interested half-orc:
Sia giggled in the half-orc's mind, "I don't mind that you have such thoughts about me. It's nice that you find me that desirable?" There was a pause before she asked, []"Does Hellion frown on such thoughts as you were having about me?"[/i] Sialea considered what Hackfoot asked her and then shook her head slowly, "I don't think so, where is it?" As he continued to speak she saw the numbers stitched into his fur and felt another flash of concern, something just as nebulous as before, and winced slightly at what must have been a painful process. "Power can be a good thing but you wouldn't be the first to try and trike at the league. As I understand it many have tried and all have failed, what makes your group different from the others?"
Sialea noticed the half-orcs and rabbitman were eying their group with interest as she thought over the name of this "god" Hellion. It seemed vaguely familiar but she couldn't quite say why. It was around then that she noticed one of the half-orcs was eying her with particular interest and realized trouble might be brewing. She decided to take the opportunity to get what information she could and Sia asked, "How did you come to know of Hellion?" She kept a wary eye on the overly interested half-orc thinking through what she would need to do if he came after her. In case she was wrong though...
Interested half-orc: Sialea's mind reached out to the half-orc who was eyeing her so much and she practically purred into his mind, "What are you think of as you look at me like that?"
Sialea noticed the big bunny man and asked Inle, "So are you a child and still growing into your size or is he just bigger than you are?" She looked at the half-orc and the big bunnyman and asked, "So I've never heard of this 'Hellion', what can you tell me about him?"
Sialea nodded in complete agreement, "You're right, it isn't pleasant but for what's down here it's worth it." As he spoke about the "truly faithful" Sialea asked, "So are you worshipping a particular god here? I didn't know there was a temple in these ruins." She showed interest in her posture as she asked, "could you tell me of the one you give your faith to?" It was around then that she heard the voice demanding answers and looked nervously at the half-orc she'd spoken with to see what he would do in response to the loud voice.
Sialea looked in on the half-orcs and saw their rather belligerent attitude and said, "Oh, I didn't know anyone else was down here?" She gave them a curious look and asked, "Did you come in by way of the water too?"
I will be out of town at Gencon this Wednesday through Sunday so my posting will be very sparse/non-existent until possibly next Monday. Please bot me as needed.
Sialea nodded in agreement with their choice of door and when Inle mentioned what he heard she moved over to press her ear close to it and try to hear the words.
Taking out another bullet Sialea tried to strike the nearest of the creature once more. This time she didn't even hold the bullet in the sling long enough to twirl it once before it dropped to the ground.
With one of the creatures near, and her magic nearly depleted, Sialea pulled out her sling and began to whirl it. At the end of her fourth spin she snapped a bullet at the creature before her.
Sialea wasn't enthused about this fight, they seemed to be running into continuous waves of creatures to fight. She was running dangerously low on magic and wanted to conserve it but knew that she needed to do something to lessen the odds against them. She focused and cast one of her regular spells, a shadowy bear trap latching onto the shadow of the creature straight ahead of them. Her spell done she said, "Don't go out there, let them come to us. They will have to come in only two at a time."
Nope, not me. I'm a mental/mechanical kinda girl.
Sialea considered the question and then said, "I can't promise we will have anything when we come back through but I will do what I can to make sure that someone brings some back for you soon."
Sia nodded and said, "Yes, we're here to learn, sort of anyway. We're also trying to end a threat to our town." She thought about the creature and then said, "If you stay down here I don't think that you'll have many people come through, it will be very lonely." She smiled at the thing, "Think about it, we'll make sure to come back before we leave the ruins in case you change your mind."
Sialea considered how to answer the creature and said, "A science deck is where people learn new things through research, the process of learning. A star ship is something that would travel in the emptiness between the stars. A town is, as Inle said, a place where a lot of people live together, it also means that the place has a certain size too it."
Sialea looked at the strange creature as it ate and then heard it's questions again. It didn't seem to know much about anything really and she found herself sympathizing with it. "Well. I'm Sialea, I'm not sure what I am or where I'm from. Sounds like you don't either." Her tone was sympathetic as she understood that pain all too well. "As for where you are, well, you are in a room that is part of the remains of a science deck from an ancient, crashed, starship. You are beneath a town on a planet called Golarian."
Hearing the creature speak in their minds was something that shouldn't bother Sialea, given as much as she spent inside of the minds of others speaking, but for some reason she couldn't point to it did. The thing seemed a bit addle brained in it's questions but she supposed they were valid ones. She watched carefully as Celen fed it, wary it might cause them troubles when he got too close to it.
The next several rooms had more technology that Sia found intriguing but ultimately of little immediate interest. She suspected these were medical devices of some kind but they didn't have the time to truly study them. When they reached the final room on this level she shuddered at the sight before her. The brainy tentacled thing was disgusting and she asked her friends, "Anyone know what that is?"
Relieved the fighting was over Sialea looked at the hammer when it was held out to her and said, "They might but I think it is more of a weapon than a tool."
With little magic left to her and no real way to affect the fighting without using it Sia decided it was best to stay out of the way while the others dealt with the creatures in the room.
So ya'll know I will be gone from Tuesday next week through most of the following Sunday to Origins and posting time will be limited during that time.
Sia was entranced by this room and had no real idea that her friends had moved on. She felt a desire to enter and looked back over her shoulder to see if the others were coming when she realized they were gone. Figuring they went back into the hallway she turned to follow them and saw Celen send fire out. Then she realized something was wrong and hurried forward. She looked in to see more of the same creatures as before, one of which seemed more threatening than the others. She drew on her reserves of psychic power as she wove together bolts of force in her mind. When the spell was ready she dumped the extra power into it and then sent the bolts out to slam into the chieftain. The two bolts hit with far more force than expected for something their size.
Looking at the remains of the creatures they'd just killed Sialea couldn't help but wonder if it had been necessary. She hadn't been in place to see if they attacked or not but she supposed it was a moot point now. She carefully stepped past the remains of the creatures to look inside the next room. The tree was huge, and indoors, both things sh never had seen before. She was shocked it was still alive, if it was alive, and looked through the doorway for signs of trouble and things of interest.
Moving into the room Sialea looked at the creatures they were fighting and focused her mind sending a pair of bolts to lance out and slam into the nearest enemy.
Sialea looked at the items they had found now that the freakish fungi were dealt with. She took the ring when Celen failed to identify it and gave it a try herself.
Not happy with the sudden fight with the fungus Sialea knew she couldn't leave her friends to deal with it alone. She stepped to see in the doorway and focused her thoughts on an unerring projectile and the emotions of a satisfying hit then focused it into a pair of projectiles of solid force. The missiles shot out at the most damaged of the enemies and slammed into it forcefully.
Looking into the fetid room of fungal ick Sialea felt a fair bit of fear. She didn't like fungus, she wasn't sure why but she didn't, and she didn't want to go in there. That didn't stop her from looking in though.
Sialea let Enle take the lead after catching his error and saying, "That one goes there." As the bunnyman took his time now instead of hurrying frantically like bunnies usually seemed to do, she found herself impressed. He was actually rather good at what he was doing. When he finished she looked at the devices with him. He figured several of the items out quickly and so she focused on the ones he wasn't so sure of.
Sialea nodded in agreement with the group and let Inle take the lead on this one. She rather regretted it though when she saw him trying to reach everything with his short stubby arms. She realized what was about to happen and called out, "No not that one!"
Sialea nodded and said, "Yes, I agree. Let's go that way and then back to the science lab afterwards."
Sialea was surprised to still find tracks down here and shook her head, "No, I don't think so. I think he would be trying to avoid the cult altogether, not warn them we were coming because he failed. I think it is either a cultist or something from that passage deeper into the ground near the old camp." When they reached the elevator Sialea said, "Give me the pieces, let's see if I can fix this now." She began to tinker with the device and worked at putting everything back together again.
"So y'all had fun?" Inlé innocently asks the ladies. Sialea blushed slightly but pointedly ignored the question as she walked out the door.
Sialea looked at Parda's body and realized they hadn't done anything about her. She felt bad for forgetting about the dead woman's body but knew there was nothing to do for it now. When her companions spoke she said, "I think that we should return her to the surface but I think we should wait until we are done in here first. The less trips we have to make through that foul water the better."
