Elemental Outsider Eidolon of Karg, Summoner 4
The eidolon coordinates movements with Karg, positioning him in such a way to attack Jujanil from both sides. There is no hesitation as Shear brings down his hoof on the creature. Claw Power Attack: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 2 + 2 = 23

"Thank you Lars. I would not be able to fight if not for your help. Karg will use his magic on you, ward you against any dangers before we can follow." Barkskin and protection from evil on Lars before he starts the ritual. Protection from evil on Reavis as the ritual nears the end. Are we still within the boundaries of Amanandar, Jinin, Wanshou, or Zi Ha for the moment for the benefit of the ley line bonus?
Elemental Outsider Eidolon of Karg, Summoner 4
"Karg can perform the ritual." The half-orc shows a lack of enthusiam at the suggestion. "He is strong and can take more hits than most." The half-orc doubles down on his distaste for heading the charge. "And he does want to hit it with his sword quickly." Karg's disgruntled demeanor does break for a moment to at least acknowledge that is true.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 Shear watches Mata Ryu for a moment. With only a handful of years of experience with humanoid behavior he looks to see Ryu's intent and the danger he poses to the mission, others, and himself. The eidolon has no benchmarks though to measure what he has been through. He still cares more for the mission than the trials of this elven wizard, but considers this to be an additional goal. Turning to Sharaheen, "Do you still think you can open the gate?"

"At the festival. We spoke and you ran when we asked you questions. We now wish to speak to you again." The eidolon's voice is soft, but still carries the crackle of flame on the edge of each word. Still he makes no attempt to truly be intimidating, but focuses on not agitating the already frightened wizard. "Remain calm, we offer you more kindness than your mistress. We want to know many things. What this this tower is for. Why those people in caskets have daemon flesh." "We have many more questions and we give you a way to fix damage that has been done. Will you hear them?"

Shear does want to kill Mata Ryu, but his defenses offer little chance for his blose. While he has been lucky, he just falls upon Mata Ryu with all of his wait, attempting to pin the wizard before he can hurt himself or any of any of Shear's allies. Attempt to grapple Mata Ryu. Shear roars with a sound of crackling flame. He tries to latch onto Mata Ryu with his bite, not trying to dig in his teeth, but to grab and beat the wizard against wall and table. Nonlethal Bite: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 7 - 4 = 17

Shear continues to trample them. "I don't like enemies in front and behind, I can only protect one-" Shear is interrupted when a blow comes barreling down on Karg's neck. The eidolon pushes into Karg's space and barely blocks a critical blow and just begins delivering a full onslaught of blows in reprisal. PA Bite: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 - 2 = 25

"They are made of bodies. There may be more bodies in bags. I agree that we can not leave threats behind. We should attack them before they finish. I'll take attacks and crush them." Shear is going to move in and go into where they are placing the bodies, but I don't want to run in this moment if there are other people that have other reactions or suggestions.

Shear directs has Karg examine the eight bodies to determine if they were at least humanoid or if they were something else. Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Meanwhile Shear continues speaking to Sharaheen. "You are young, but old. Do you have anything to keep yourself safe when more guardians appear? If you die, will Jujanil be freed?"
Elemental Outsider Eidolon of Karg, Summoner 4
Karg withdraws the blade slightly, still ready to attack, but no longer with blade at throat. Between summoner and eidolon a debate rages for a few moments and at the end Karg seems greatly frustrated. "I will be going away for a time as Karg calls upon another creature to speak for us. My apologies for having to abandon you all for any period of time." With that said, Karg prepares to dismisses Shear when...
Elemental Outsider Eidolon of Karg, Summoner 4
Unless anyone objects, Shear would be game to try at least. Karg does try to convince Shear of the danger of the plan, but Shear continues to insist. "We do not know anything about what we are fighting. We should learn what we can before with move forward." Shear has the summoner blindfold the yeti and makes a token attempt bind the creature's limbs. When it comes time to wake the yeti, someone else will need to use Karg's wand of cure light wounds, as Karg will be busy holding a falchion ready for an action from the yeti.
Elemental Outsider Eidolon of Karg, Summoner 4
I'm not sure if that is a ride-by attack viable position. If it isn't I would recommend backing off out of reach, possibly to better set up a charge another turn as the yeti is large and it would be best not to be caught in the yeti's gaze again. "Vash! Keep safe, don't let it grab onto either of you!"
Elemental Outsider Eidolon of Karg, Summoner 4
Shear races across the ground and moves full force at the yeti with the full intention of playing the part of distraction. If able, Shear charges, otherwise he double moves towards the yeti. If Charge: Power Attack Charge Claw: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 2 = 17

Shear is still no less unusual than he was weeks past, but has seen more significant changes in that time. The eidolon appears to be composed of black volcanic rock with cracks in the shell revealing glowing red heat from his bodies interior. The heat offers no danger and at worse makes Shear uncomfortable for a typical person to remain in contact with even though the heat isn't strong enough to burn. He wears a treated tabard with the symbol of the Open Road along with the wayfinder hanging from his side and an ioun stone floated above his head. The most significant change has been in the way he speaks. His voice sounds more human without the rough crashing of rock and flame within his throat before. He has spent most of the free time he has had practicing speech, understanding humanoid cues and acting less alien within conversations.

Shear looks towards the rafts but decides against trying to clamber onto either of them with the elder having some measure of safety on the patch of ice Reavis has created. Instead he focuses on pulling the elder he already has to the shore.
