'The bird' jumps on Tauriell's shoulder with a flap of her wings.

Meanwhile a red tailed hawk enters the office of Mrs. Heidmarch through the open window and lands on the stretched out arm of the Tauriell statue.
It is sad indeed. But that happens to pets that no one takes care of.
From high in the sky sweeps a hawk down in the park manoeuvring through the trees and into the house. It lands on the spine of the oxen and starts feeding on it "Screee!"
"Scree!" Shaylin replies.
Shaylin comes back up along the edge of the boat and hops on Tauriell's lap. It fluffs itself up bowing it's head and closes the eyes.
Shaylin walks a few feet along the edge of the boat to move out of reach of the shooing. "Screee!"
With the last light the hawk swoops down and sits on the edge of the boat. Looking at Tauriell the bird says "Screee!"
Perception DC 15: Coming in from the north east a red tailed hawk circles over the cathedral.
With another attempt Shaylin puts te hare out of it's misery.
With two more flaps of her wings Shaylin is back on top of he hare
Going first Shaylin gives it another try jumping on te hare grabbing it with her talons
Shaylin gets annoyed. What's the use of being thrown around. Small circles are not right. Large circles are not right. But as she can feel what Tauriell feels she get's an idea that large circles are better than small circles. And finally in an extra large circle Shaylin recognizes the hare. She tries to swoop in unnoticed to grab the hare before it flees.
Hearing 'bla bla bla fetch bla bla' Shaylin looks in the direction Tauriell points and flies there collecting a a small rusted dagger from the field and dropping it before the Elf while landing on the glove again.
A bit annoyed by te prospect of being thrown around Shaylin doesnÄt want to come down. But as Tauriell wont stop to make a fuss, she gives in and lands on Tauriell's hand again.
Shaylin starts flying with the kickstart Tauriell provided but circles to the next tree to sit on a branch.
Shaylin liking it very much on Tauriell's hand holds on tight to the glove and flaps with her wings a few times, to come to an upright position again.
The hawk jumps from the branch down on Tauriells arm. The bird looks at Tauriell as she makes noises with her mouth, and grabs a berry now and then with her beak.
After circling above the coast road and then over the oak grove for a few hours Shaylin slowly decends her circles coming closer and closer to the tree tops. Finding an opening in the tree she swoops in and lands on a branch above and besides the humming Elf.
Shaylin immediately grabs the squirrel in it's talons and starts to rip it apart with it's beak, swallowing the pieces. The sight is not for the faint-hearted.
The hawk watches the offered hand with interest and checks for offered food. Finding none, and not sure what to do it watches Tauriell's face, and lets out a shriek.
The hawk retracts from the hand and tries to hide from it behind Tauriell.
The hawk, feeling the discomfort of Tauriell, hopps down on the ground. Still staring at her.
The hawk tries to evade the poking but to no avail. But it learns to predict the timing and on another attempt to poke it, it jumps on Tauriell's arm.
As the red-tailed hawk glides over the clearing in the forrest a quick and erratic movement on the ground catches it's eye. Pulling it's wings close it swoops down with tremendous speed, spreading it's mighty wings at the last moment before hitting the black cat with it's talons.
Catching the food competitor unaware and almost bringing it down.
Over the forrest a red-tailed hawk soars in wide circles watching out for upcurrents with the sun starting to warm the place up. |
