Just a quick note to say that I'm still here, but I'm working on cleaning out and reclaiming my man-cave (which has become a household storage/dumping ground). This is a lengthy process (as a couple of my bookshelves had broken and I got replacements). Anyway, I will try to update as possible, but please be patient if waiting on me, or bot me if I am holding things up. This should be done by next week.
I will wait as long as necessary. Take what time you need.
Convinced that the newcomer means no harm, Sharee lowers her bow and relaxes.

Sharee is more pragmatic, keeping her bow ready and an arrow trained on the prisoner until she is sure.
Sharee secures the extra arrows in her quiver and follows along. "I suggest that we at least try the doors so that we don't leave our rear exposed."
"Thank you, my friend," Sharee says, accepting the arrows.
I'm looking down the barrel of two hurricanes, so if I disappear for a while, that's what happened.
The cat presses the attack as Sharee fires again at the monster.

"I'm running out of arrows!" Sharee notes with a hint of worry. Even as she utters this, she fires a shot at the new incoming. "Kalish!" The cat, understanding the urgency in its master's cry moves to stand beside Vothe, biting at the creature. (undead)
That's Marcus and Ordrud in the front rank then...unless you have a reach/missile weapon or spell then You are unable to attack.
Sharee nocks and lets go another arrow, her concern growing over her dwindling supply of such. (undead) "Kalish, get in there and help us out!" The cat does as it is bidden, biting at the creature. piercing
Sharee reacts immediately, drawing and loosing an arrow.

Sharee also pricks an ear and listens.
Sharee shivers in the cold but says nothing. Following Ordrud, she moves north.
Sharee nocks an arrow as the group proceeds forward.
After Ordrud has been returned to the top of the pit, Sharee leans heavily against the wall. "So, how do we get across?"
"At all," Sharee says, adding her opinion.
Sharee nods towards the west door while raising her eyebrows questionably.
"I hear it. I can't see a blessed thing in this bright light. What tunnel shall we take?"
Sharee moves forward cautiously, with an arrow nocked and at the ready. "This is no elven temple," she replies seriously, "Not with statuary such as that!" She peers down each corridor, looking as far as her darkvision will permit, trying to assess what lies down each.
Sharee nocks another arrow, draws, and lets fly at the guard running towards the temple.
"That's our cue," Sharee says, stepping around the corner and letting fly an arrow at the one attempting the grapple.
"I am in agreeance, but we should attempt to draw them to us, with the others remaining in hiding for an ambush."
Sharee also sneaks forward to take a look.
"Or, I could be a lone hunter who happens upon them. If I can get a look at the situation and then take my leave casually, I can report back here. If I get into trouble, I'll give a signal, and the rest of you can come running."
The elf steps forward to offer a hand to the newcomer. "Sharee Blackfeather, and it's nice to have another female voice in the group."
I agree. Sorry to see you go, Crit. We should find a replacement.

Sharee shrugs and follows Ordrud.
Sharee sheathes her swords and picks up her bow again.
Sharee drops her longbow and draws her twin short swords, slashing at the manticore. "You'll find that this tiger has claws!"
Sharee spins on her heel, nocking the arrow as she does so. By the time she completes her turn, the bowstring is pulled taut and she releases the arrow at the incoming creature.
Sharee uses her bow to fling another arrow at the enemy!
Sharee curses and readies another arrow, sending it towards the target. This one also goes wide and the elf swears again.
I expected that he was going to be pretty much invulnerable to our attacks for the time being. I didn't think that they would let us short-circuit the adventure by killing him this quickly.
"Okay, we're going to persist on this suicidal course," Sharee sighs. She also moves to help with the grapple.
Sharee moves to the window that Ordrud has smashed out. "This will get us nowhere! He has us, for now. Better a tactical withdrawal than to continue a losing battle."
Sharee, realizing that they cannot hurt the priest, looks towards the door, the only visible exit from the room. Not so much as a window. We may have bitten off more than we are capable of digesting.
Sharee frowns, sensing that her weapon will do no harm to the priest. Still, she must try. She lifts her bow and takes careful aim. The arrow leaves the bow, carrying its message of harm.
Sharee launches another arrow at the mage.
Sharee lets fly her arrow at the mage. Unfortunately, her aim is off due to the shock of the sudden (but not completely unexpected) betrayal.
Sharee lifts her bow and nocks an arrow but holds her fire. If he makes a move to attack, she looses the arrow.
Sharee stands quietly, mentally reviewing the layout of the room, including potential exits and bottlenecks.
Yeah, I'm good. Just a combination of busy and had nothing to add to the conversation.
