I hope that Paizo reconsiders at some point down the road on producing 4E material, hopefully with the same approach as Pathfinder. Since any business is around with the goal of making money it would seem to be beneficial that Paizo consider expanding their revenue stream to include 4E. Today they have limited themselves only to 3.5E and will potentially lose revenue from a group of folks that switched to 4E. Bringing that revenue back to the business at some point in the future would seem to make sense. I’ll leave the issues with the licenses to the lawyers.

Great discussion, this is where it is tough for my group. The Paizo material is far superior to the other adventures available. Since I have no time to design adventures myself everything we run comes from either Paizo or WoTC. The group at some point next year wants to switch to 4e but unless there are adventures to support it with great background material like Pathfinder is providing it will be difficult to make the transition. The base content and rules with one company and the great adventures and background information with another company.

Attempting our 3rd try into the Temple during City of Broken Idols. One PC lost on each of the first 2 attempts.

Name: Aramis
Race: Human
Class: Paladin 13
Session: Taboo Temple (City of Broken Idols)
Catalyst: Symbol of Death

It seems the newly multiclassed Warmage took an interest in the writing on the floor. She was able to complete the save but the Paladin was not as fortunate, he was just standing on the stairs of the temple when he was struck down. Not a glorious way to go for a Paladin.

Name: Caleb
Race: Human
Class: Favoured Soul 13
Session: Taboo Temple (City of Broken Idols)
Catalyst: Ranger Chief

The party got a little too split up and Caleb got isolated from everyone else when the Chief arrived. One lost initiative roll later he was on the ground. Although another party member Dimensioned Door him to the hallway away from the battle a fireball did him in before he could be brought back to life.

We started playing STAP in October and these are the first 2 kills for the group. As one member of the party told the others, one wrong move at this level and you are dead.
