Sorry to see you go Kel. Real life always comes first and I agree, it can be a struggle to mix real life with gaming. @DM Ninja - Is Kel going to be botted? If not, we can trade out Shadow and Kel, and I can bring in a Gestalt Magus/Cleric version of my own. I have been making a non-Gestalt version and I can incorporate it in quickly. Del can handle the traps and I can make my Magus/Cleric version mold into the group more than Shadow.
100% completed leveling, 99% updating my sheet.
I am about half-way done.
Either I am seeing things from lack of sleep or my dice roll changed on me. I swore it read a roll of 8 ... LOL No matter, adjusting to a roll of 7.
Level 3 hp roll unless we are averaging.
Since the soldier ant is surrounded, this makes Shadow's job a little easier. Watching for anatomy that looks important, Shadow lunges attempting to reward the Soldier ant with a killing blow, "Kiai!
Regardless of how much of the ant's heart was perforated, it will no longer serve the soldier ant in any capacity. As the soldier ant is falling, Shadows motions everyone to quickly follow her to get closer to the door or passage way leading out so this time if they are attacked, they are closer to getting out of the ant hive entry way.
Although wishing she had hit the soldier ant harder, Shadow looks content at the moment.
While Kel has the ant distracted Shadow approaches from behind and attempts to give the Soldier Ant an Aldori enema.
Shadow makes the "shhh" gesture at Kel and snickers without making a sound.

Shadow places her finger on her lips but makes no noise. She then gets light on her feet, slips into the shadows, and lastly sticks out her hand to alert the party where she is and to follow.
Sorry Ninja DM that I did not instigate a meet up. I was so busy visiting family I haven't seen in 9 years and dodging pot holes in downtown Pittsburgh, I barely had time to sleep... :-)
Shadow was about to slash at the incoming Ant but Talon beats her to it. She then whispers, "We probably should leave know just in case they swarm like their smaller cousins. Unless you feel we should scout out this area more? In addition, who knows what the ants may have dragged into their nest?"
Cool! I am in Pittsburgh as well, we are renting a place near the 31st Street Bridge in Little Italy. My father grew up in New Castle, and we still have family here in Pittsburgh, Slippery Rock, and an Uncle who lives closer to Jersey but I do not remember where off hand. He lives in Pennsylvania but works in Jersey. Both of us are heavy into railroading. ~Anderlorn
[ooc]Nope as well![/b] Shadow shakes her head at the stumbling mite and smiles underneath her shinobi shouzoku. Shadow nods at Talon and looks at Del then continues on down.
Shadow holds up her hand to hold the party and whispers to Del, "That blue creature is a mite, I have run into them before and they can have a pretty nasty disposition and may have giant insect friends with them." Then gives Del the signal to watch the mite while she stealthily relays the same information to Talon.
Shadow quickly takes lead with Del (unless of course Del does not want to take lead with Shadow);
Shadow now has trapspotter rogue talent as well.
A bitten Shadow quickly steps out of the area to warn the party, "A large amount of very hungry Vampire bats or some kind of bat in the next room, we should avoid it if at all possible."
Shadow nods her head at Talon Shadow hurriedly but carefully coats her sword and as many arrows as she can with spider venom and makes a mental note to purchase some flasks for possible future encounters. "Ok, I am ready to move out." Then proceeds to take up her position at the head of the group with Del.
Shadow looks at the spider and to the group, "Would any of you be against me using spider poison coated weapons on our enemies? I will not do so if anyone will be offended by it?"
Making sure she is flanking the spider, she makes the attempt to stab the spider in what she thinks is a vital spot, "Kiai!"
Shadow is fully completed.
Shadow moves to set up a flank between her and the others in the party for a back stab on the giant spider.
Watching everyone miss, Shadow shouts, "Too many minds, relax and gain one mind, then strike true!" Shadow sets up for another assault upon the giant spider. Shadow looks quickly at the dead spider and back, then contemplates if she has enough time to coat her blade with venom and stab the living spider with it.
Round 2 Shadow calms her mind, relaxes her breathing, and then strikes again with fury, "KIAI!"
This time striking true leaving a nice size gash in the spider's cephalothorax while stealing life from it.
Round 1 Shadow responds quickly by dodging the spider's attack and returning the favor by attacking the 8 legged (and icky) foes, she not only strikes once but strikes twice with a loud kiai with the last strike.
The first attack nearly misses while the second attack goes wild.
Looking at the class again, I have two creation feats and I took potions and wondrous items.
Ok, I'll take Wondrous items and if we find out we need potions, I'll just purchase it with a feat next level.
I have an item creation feat available, since we are team, do you all prefer I take brew potion, scroll, or wondrous items? As for me, my first choice is wondrous items and second is potions for healing potions and etc. A ninja/PFS member would find both item creation feats useful. Wands are not until 5th.
I am going with Artisan which is basically a different approach to the Artificer. I am still trying to decided what is my craft specialty, I was thinking of mechanical because of traps, mechanical devices, and other things. This does not mean I can not craft other magical items or use them, it just means mechanical devices are my specialty. I would say, I am about 30%+ completed.
I'll be working on my gestalt portion as well. This past weekend we had yet again bad weather to keep me busy, and I lost my UPS in the process. It was a good UPS, it lasted me 8 years through some really bad weather.
After witnessing the last Amoeba break down into viscous water, Shadow looks for more and traps,
Before the Amoebas "If none of your allies have room, I'm certain we can manage to find room for you for now." Shadow curtsies ... "Yes my lady, that would be most helpful at this time."
Shadow finds out the group is moving out already and finds herself still a little unprepared. She rushes off to the group with basically the same gear as before but with a new set of masterwork thieves tools. When she reaches the party, she looks a little frustrated and frazzled ... Round 1 Being up in front with Del in order to help locate traps and etc. In order to help kill the amoebas faster, Shadow attacks Ameoba 2 since it already been hit...
@Kel, I guess we are not going Gestalt yet? I thought we were before continuing.
Shadow bows from the neck out of respect, "Thank you, they will come in handy in assisting you, the team, and the Pathfinder Society." She looks at Del, "What is the housing situation around here. Are there barracks or apartments on grounds or do we have to look for housing in town?"
Shadow has been quiet and observing, still getting use to her new team and is learning how to fit in. Shadow bows from the neck, "Thank you for the share." Then looks to the Masterwork Thieve's tools and then to Del, "Del, did you want those fine in quality thieve's tools?" Then she looks at the group, "I am going to spend my time researching to see if I can find out more about this door. In addition, I need to catch up on the knowledge most of the Pathfinder's have regarding artifacts. Do you all have any suggestions on where I should start?"
Sorry I have been out for a bit, work has been busy lately which was magnified after having to stay home for about a week because of the weather.
Shadow courtesy bows, "Thank you my lady for bestowing this great honor to me, letting down royalty and even commoners is not in my vocabulary. I will embrace more training for I already know what my weaknesses will be if I do not address them in your training branch." Shadow courtesy bows one more time, "Thank you again my lady."
After Talon vouches for Shadow, Shadow courtesies to Lord and Lady Heidmarch, "Well met, my Lord and Lady. It was my pleasure in helping your team accomplish their objectives. In addition, it would be an honor if I can continue to assist them." Shadow listens carefully to Lord and Lady Heidmarch's lecture on Thassilonian history with eye contact and head nods of acknowledgement.
Shadow nods to Talon, "I vote to also go back but my desire to go back is based off retiring from my current employer who does not know what to do with me and joining up with the Pathfinder Society to feel I have more purpose in my life. In addition, it wouldn't hurt to recover a bit from what we have done this far, regroup, and bring supplies to clean and secure this room up a little for a small base of operations?"

Since no one replied to her suggestions and it sounds like they are working it out, Shadow continues to watch the group work while on guard.
Shadow not being much of a Pathfinder yet, watches everyone else observing what they are studying and researching She keeps alert for anyone or anything that peaks her interest or maybe the Pathfinders are overlooking. Shadows observes Talon's notes and replies, "Talon not to be nosy but you are missing Elints, Enlist, Inlets, and Tinsel."
Well I was thinking about a (3) class gestalt but after looking at the fact that I will probably be (1) level below you all, it may not be such a good idea? If you all end up not minding, I may go after it anyway.
Exactly, especially if Gestalt does not appeal to you or you character concept. I am still kind of tossing ideas around myself.
