She doesn't get far before she hears the hissing and sees the critters attack. Immediately she pulls her rapier from its sheath and moves to flank one of the creatures with some red pigment stuck to its body.

Rapier: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 for Piercing/Slashing Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Doubled on Crit

Unfortunately she slips at the last moment and almost perforates Petal.

Before

Shadow groans as she wakes, the ground feeling more solid than when she fell asleep the night before. Her stomach growls as she realizes that breakfast is overdue. Calming herself, she remains quiet, ears straining to hear, if anything, is around her. She hears her fellow abductees rouse and realizes that something is wrong, very wrong...

She slips the bindings and removes the blindfold. Looking around and seeing her fellow abductees, she realizes that something is very wrong all right.

"I assume you are also participants in the reenactment festival?" her slightly musical voice betraying her elven heritage. "Shadow Fang, " she says shortly, "But we should get properly introduced once we figure out what's going on."

Now

"We'd best be heading back to town to see what's really going on. I'll be sticking to the shadows"

Avoid Notice is her Exploration Activity, Stealth +7

Eek... I've posted but it appears I haven't done the other setup stuff yet... Character is posted with botting spoiler, so it should have my background skills already in place.

A slender woman, quiet as shadow, notices the woodsman shuffle off after leaving the bundle of wood outside her door. Many times she wanted to call out to thank him but decided that revealing herself prematurely might be unwise.
