I can go Wizard Universalist... and suggestions for the free Archetype? Cleric, Ranger, Summoner? Seen some suggest Archer. What does free mean? What is the usual cost?
Always wanted to play alongside Storyteller Shadow (he's an excellent roleplayer - GM's one of my games). If you're leaning towards him, would love to toss my hat into the ring (as it were) with a Half-Orc Barbarian/Rogue "fighter" type. Are you ready to rumble?

Will this be a run through the gauntlet type of game, or more heroic, legend building, etc... I suppose a lot of Transmutation Wizards and Giant Slayers in the applicant mix?
Breaking his silence... So, potlatch is a term of use to make you believe "a thing" is unimportant. Hide it in plain sight? I can extrapolate uses for contraband, smuggling, the list goes on.

I typically like intrigue! This character just isn't built for it. He needs to mix it up. It had been difficult to wrap my head around the whole enchilada! I'm usually better with enchiladas, burritos, chimichangas and the like!
Looking toward the holy man. I am at a loss in this situation. My previous assignment was more... direct. Intrigue is not my strong suit.
I know this is weird and lame, but I built Sethran as a Combat Mage. So, sadly... All this investigative, social stuff is out of his element.

Charms are ethically ambiguous, not a fan. But illusions, I've got a few. So, we're going for subtle. Usually, I'm more of a knock'em on their arse kinda guy.. He smile genuinely.

Do we know what the place has for security, both mundane and magical? I'm assuming money was no object, the question would be how much value they placed on their exhibits and how much risk the can stomach. Is rather innocents don't get hurt, it's unprofessional.

The object is composed of pyrite. Maybe a mine? My geology is rusty. There was another term for the stuff... fool's gold, I believe. Perhaps Mr. Gallowsmith can help us cross-reference such a location or where similar pyrite deposits may be found? An anomaly, sky metal, something.

In alright with character conflict as long is it isn't an assault on their sense of self. Calling a good pious character, wicked. A brave character, cowardly... and so on. Chiding is alright, to spur them into action. Whatever the DM allows.
