You're right. Seth is a cleric of Nethys. It is anathema to do things mundane when a magical solution presents itself. Hence the RP about "if it's not magical - don't bother".

Seth climbs out to the surface. He quickly and quietly advises Elsha to continue with his task. "Go on please. If you plan to move over to Raike's. It is possible that her hut is similarly booby-trapped. Do whatever it takes, but don't get caught."
He quickly says a small prayer to Nethys asking for guidance, then moves out of the hut to talk to the captain.
He then addresses the lieutenant. "...And in that one statement, she has revealed to you her heart's desire. She wants to claim everything as her own. That hut, is certainly not her hut. It is Greeleep's. You know this. And if you and your people are not careful Lieutant, if you believe this snake's words - she will take everything from your people." Seth speaks dispassionately.
"As for her claims about Czav, easily disproven. Let us see Lieutenant Eloqi. We can address all of these things in his presence."

Right after the fight, Seth sets out to prove that Pathfinders aren't just fighters. He sets up a table, and calls for wounded to be brought to him. He spends his time healing the Iruxi.

Seth & Czav already spoke about healing at the start of the game. Both IC and OOC. Why would the cleric RUN to a Damphir's side? The obvious answer is to apply Battle Medicine +11. It's actually written on my character description ^^^. Also you only have a few of those elixirs left. I suggest you keep that for when the cleric is downed, or if you are about to go down, and the cleric can't help you.

I had to backread a bit and found that I'd already cast the spell in the 1st round of the fight, which is why everyone's talking about Sustain. My declaration should've been to Sustain (which takes only one round) rather than cast. Sorry about that, I missed reading I'd cast the spell already.

Next round, you get to sustain the spell and attack with it - just once.
The note regarding MAP is if the caster of the spell does something else, like for example cast Spiritual Weapon/hit with it, then hit with a dagger he's holding or in the reverse order (hit with dagger 1st, etc).
It doesn't make sense to sustain a spell that hasn't elapsed yet, since the spell was cast on this round.

Prior to entering the camp's meeting hall, Seth addresses Sergeant Drussem's question and says "Yes, I am."
Upon meeting Artennod Raike, Seth engages her in conversation. "It is a pleasure to meet the representatives of the Aspis Consortium. I've heard that your people are very interested in the business of doing many things. I assume that this includes Art Works?" Seth pauses for a dramatic effect in a bid to see the reaction of Artennod. But, he won't give her a chance to speak and immediately follows up with "Have you ever heard of the succubi statues of Ayavah? I hear that they're priceless!"
Seth being an Artist, continues to discuss the statues, their rarity and value... all in an effort to impress Artennod.
