Oh that was what I thought I was suggesting, but yeah thats what i'd be happy with too. :)

Seraph takes the lead again, repeating their previous array like before which would allow her to charge first against any threats to the wagon.

Seraph in front of wagon. Mulray and Arv on Wagon. Destroyman near wagon again and Janu/Venetia/Neji inside the wagon right?

Female Init +2; Senses Perception +10 AC 25 (Touch 12 Flatfooted 24) HP 43/89 F: +7, R: +4, W:+4

Seraph takes first watch, not quite comfortable but someone needed to search the fallen for any usable gear.

Anything Useful Corsario?

Seraph was tired but felt rejuvenated by whatever the spirited had done for them. However she was wary, though the shock of being trapped in these lands was much worse though...

Apologies for the wait. So are we rejuvanted as in all our daily abilities are back or just HP?

Female Init +2; Senses Perception +10 AC 25 (Touch 12 Flatfooted 24) HP 43/89 F: +7, R: +4, W:+4

She narrowed her eyes in a dangerous way as the one Vordakei died and the shadow appeared once more. However it was the dead ones words that made her feel conflicted momentarily. Seeing they were healed was a relief but she felt the exhaustion in her trembling muscles. With a sigh she looks to the others. "Lets retreat for now, make marks on our maps and plan our next foray. The halflings farm is probably the safest place for us to be right now..."

She regards the shadow then, her eyes narrowed once more. "What was it babbling about. Guardian of what?"

Female Init +2; Senses Perception +10 AC 25 (Touch 12 Flatfooted 24) HP 43/89 F: +7, R: +4, W:+4

Acting out of turn? Two can play this game!

"And why would I?" The last blow was still upraised. Despite his stepping back Swift edged forward. Her threat was very real and very intent by the burning look in her eyes. Keeping him firmly pinned between her, Neji, Janus, Mulray and Destroyerman.

I am assuming that my Fleet Charge did or didn't hit yet? Because I thought I had killed him there... xD Lmao

Still withing reach of her foe she continued to speak, hard and darkly. "Why would I let you exist? You attacked and threatened us remember? What reason do you have that will end my challenge?"

If my fleet charge was expended then she is readying an action to strike him with her greatsword if he starts casting.

Oh yes he is flanked on four sides, that he god damn is.

Sent to me by Corerue.

Melissa's wry smile turns into a genuine one as she taps your left leg with what could only be an invisible blade. "Your far quicker then those last six were, caught me bloody well by surprise." She nods and waves you past. "Glad your with us yet, get ya gear and lets kick the shitte out of these traitors."

They are quiet as you suit up, giving you ample time to pull on your gear and strap on your equipment. The fighting in the halls sounds like it has intensified, screams of agony echo up the halls. Loud enough to make the hairs rise on the back of your neck..

Melissa readies her blade along with the three Lucerne Hammer wielders, it takes you a moment to understand why but as you still your movement you hear it...

Clap

Hooves on stone...

Clop, Clap

Heavy hooves on stone.

You finish strapping on your weapons just as the quiet in the armor shatters completely. Something tore its way into the world, something large and powerful appeared out of nowhere. Directly behind your companions. Before you could shout, before they could even turn it raised its flaming axe opening its goatlike muzzle and blasted them with hellfire. Catching all four of them completely unawares. the three woman with Lucerne Hammers burned where they stood. Melissa somehow avoided the worst of it. (...)

DC 15 K: Planes check to identify.

Standing just over seven feet tall, this bestial humanoid wears filthy, tattered robes and has blue-gray skin decorated with strange, coiling stripes. Dark fur grows on its head and arms, and its feet end in burning hooves. Its eyes glow as red as the flaming axe it wields in one hand, and its breath fills the surrounding air with noxious gray smoke. It tries to raise its axe and encounters the armory wall, before it can recover Melissa climbs over her dying companions and impales it with her blade. She screams as the demons hot blood sears her flesh before she can pull away.

As she yanks the blade free the demon begins to crumble into ash, desintegrating so quickly that soon you can see its bones as they too turn to dust before your eyes. Stunned as you are Melissa grabs your hand and drags you out of the now burning armory. "We have to go!"

She abandons her shield, useless as it wsa now that it was melting into a glob of molten metal from the demons blood. She pulls you towards the barracks, intent on joining the commanders squad there. Your hopes are dashed as you both arrive and find that several of the same type of demons had beaten you there...

Backing the traitors as they were you could see that the possibly even fight had turned into a slaughter. There in the center of her amassed enemies and demonic host stood Talgia, a damaged halberd in her hands now. Fending them all off by swinging the weapon in a wide arc, spilling the guts of one foolish traitor as they stepped into her expert swing. As she twirls she sees you both standing in the doorway.

She mouthes something, tears streaming down her face as teh encircled demons each open their maws...

Perception DC 15 to hear what she said.

... Unleashing a four pronged attack of immense fire on the unarmored Paladin Commander. Before they were even finished burning her alive she slumped to her knees, using the burning Halberd for support.

As they stopped, her corpse still a burning wreckage of her once beautiful self, they notice you and turn with a scream of rage. The remaining traitors reform behind the advancing goat demons as their burning hooves and weapons make short work of the furniture between them and their intended victims. One of them smirks as it kicks Talgia over in its passing. "Wretched mortal." It sneered as it stomped past her, twirling its axe as it focused on you.

Melissa, not letting the moment freeze her turns away. Slamming the door in the oncoming enemies face before trying to make her way down the hall. However it was pointless. The same hammering sound, a sudden dark flash of movement and the demons had you surrounded two on each end of the long hall you stood in. Again appearing out of nowhere. Melissa goes back to back with you. Yelling an order you could no longer hear.

For a long moment you stood there, mechanically drawing your bow and unleashing arrows fruitlessly at the oncoming demons. Watching as they were deflected with ease as they closed the short distance between you. The door to your right started to rattle as dual headed halberds slammed into it, the traitors intent on breaking the now stuck door down to get to you.

Everything was lost.

You hear Melissa clash with the demons just as the ones in front of you reach where you are standing. They raise their weapon and your eyes go wide.

You were going to die...

As it came down, you winced and then there was... nothing.

You open your eyes, everything appearing slowed and blurred save for what appeared to be tendrils of light that floated around you. Then a blur of light lashed out splitting one demon in half in the space of an instant, so quickly you could hardly register it. The second opened its maw just a breadth before its teeth were mashed in by a burst of light that slammed into its muzzle sending it catapulting down the hallway.

The door the traitors were trying to cut through is suddenly knocked inward, sending them all flying back as the tendrils of light lash out at everything around you. As you turn you catch something, a glimpse in the corner of your eye of what now stood between you and Melissa...

Perception DC 25 to get details~

However it is then you hear that same voice, the one that roared at you to awaken when the Lysida was about to impale you. "FIGHT AND RETURN!"

Then everything vanished in a burst of light, you were sent cartwheeling into a place of flashing light and blinding speed. Your bow was still in your hand as you hammered back into existence once more. A thundering boom announcing your arrival in a place you could not recognize. Your appearance sent four unknown creatures flying back into their brethren, followed by a pained gasp from behind you. Where a four armed wolf looking humanoid hung pinned to the wall like a crucified.

You detected evil before you, the creature hanging from the wall detected as nothing at all and a group of humanoids. Seven in all detected as nothing as well. All of which were fighitng against the onslaught of enemies that appeared to be pressing towards the creature pinned to the wall and towards the group, who apparently had a minotaur like brute at the head of them, as this evil enemy tried to overwhelm them.

The four heading to Ga'Tul are knocked compoletely prone.

Every enemy in the room is Stunned for one round! PARTy MAY ACT AGAIN!

Party!

The entire room is blinded, shockingly none of your are affected, as something appeared to br the traitors way to Ga'Tul. Sending the mongrelmen deathguard flying back. Ga'Tul hit by the sudden entrance as well, whimpers at the sudden appearance of of a Paladin in shining armor with their bow drawn.

AS said above... PARTY IS UP!

Female Init +2; Senses Perception +10 AC 25 (Touch 12 Flatfooted 24) HP 43/89 F: +7, R: +4, W:+4

I can understand that. :/ I have a hard time with some Archetypes.

Like the Brawlers Strangler Arch is worthless. Wildchild is more fun but Strangler is probably only good for an NPC unless your always fighting things you can grapple easily. :/

A LOT of the cavalier archs are terrible. Huntmaster is fun, so is the beastmaster, but the rest... pass.

Like I said their are some Archs that are way to based on certain encounters or turn you into something that doesn't work. Like cavalier with a gun? Might as well go Gunslinger lol.

Female Init +2; Senses Perception +10 AC 25 (Touch 12 Flatfooted 24) HP 43/89 F: +7, R: +4, W:+4

Apologies, I meant nothing in a negative way and forgot your Smite evil was exchanged by the arch class features. My bad there. :/

Still your other ability is awesome. :) In some ways. Again I didn't look closely at your sheet, It was an assumption on my part as you are a paladin and paladin always has smite evil in my mind. xD Glad your back. :D

Happy Halloween to everyone that celebrates it!

I am sweating bullets. If this fails to bring him down then Seraph is totally and utterly hosed...

Other then that it was a good fight at least.

Corsario

So far its not bad at all, its my own fault for not crafting her gear along the lines of undead fighting but with Mythic we are able to turn the tide. Cavalier proves to be a bruiser in open areas as expected, had this been underground I would have had much more difficult time fight.

If Venetia were here this fight probably would have ended with her Smiting evil and that awesome sword of hers.

I cannot understate the value of a Legendary Weapon. As it seriously turned the tide in this fight. I have sought more rule references on whether it is a free action to change shape and so far no one else is commenting. James Jacob referred Xi'Tir to the rules forum on that and every Shape Change source I have found is either a Standard (Hat of disguise) or a free action (Shapechange the spell 8/9th level?)...

So yeah...

Bottom line, its been a lot of fun. The positioning has been a bit hard to follow. Like when the Waves of fatigue was cast but it was minor at best. Maps are nice in that aspect but a map for such a possibly short lived battle would have been a waste of time/energy.

I tried not to steal the thunder from the group, if people felt that way it wasn't my intention. Cavalier tends to do that in an open field, mounted battle situation. Thats why I try and make sure that if there is No Room to Charge that Corsario can tell me. As it significantly reduces my damage dealing. However with challenge and the boatload of buffs everyone gave she still turns into a monster. :/

Ride skill continues to vex me, I am in the middle of making permanent [dice][dice] rolls in my profile to speed up combat, its just hard to break everything down with ease. Lots of construction going on as well. So I will try. :)

Damage above doesn't factor in the second hit at all. Only the first and fleet charge. Which is the last of her mythical points if I tallied correctly. So ya... Blew through those. Best of luck for Neji and Janus! :S

Her blows burn with mythical strength as she slashed at the cyclopean evil before her. Intent on its total and utter destruction.

The first blow carved away more of its dead flesh as her legendary blade sliced through it with ease.

Her second blow... Didn't know if it glanced off or what damaged rolled above. Since it was Blinded still(?) I thought. Didn't know if he was flatfooted or anything pertaining to his modifiers.

Her third strike pulsed with the strength of her mythical might, she raised it high. Her flame red hair glowing as if it were on fire. A cruel smile played across her lips as she whispered. "Die like your empire." Delivering such a powerful blow that it crashed though his magical resistances against her previous attempts to damage it...

Seraph had been in a fog, at a complete loss at what to do. She nodded quietly in agreement with Arv's plan. Hoping they could eliminate the enemy a few at a time.

Slobada didn't have the resources to fight this. The Silver Dragonflight couldn't face this yet, they didn't have the equipment or the training. She hoped they didn't awake a sleeping giant by killing the few they could.

What would Danath do...

She brought out of her stupor by the rising shadows ahead and Hiera's urgent voice. "Mistress what will you have me do?"

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

She couldn't make out anything in this fog, however her fury was rising. She nearly charged again but remembered the faulty logic in that action...

"Fall back, lure whatever it is to us. If they don't move we come after them. We can't get separated again by the fog..."

Will Hiera into a lance once more.

Her tone was even, collected as she spoke to Hiera next. "Lance." Hiera transforms into a lance once more, the weapon shudders happily to be of service to its master. "Yes, Mistress!"

If only we had Magi...

"What in Caydens name..." She looked at the destroyed tree in utter confusion before quickly looking around for their elusive enemy...

"Was the tree my enemy Mistress? Hiera vibrated in her hand as the legendary lance's confusion matched Seraph's own.

Quietly Seraph spoke aloud. "No, be watchful everyone. We are probably not alone."

"Yes, Mistress!"

Seraph raises Hiera and wills her to change, in mere seconds the weapon transforms into a greatsword. Together the start to look back and forth, even swift seemed confused by his riders behavior, unaccustomed to her guiding him in mere circles...

With Arv safe she sighs in relief but watches as Destroyer man charges ahead. With magic flowing over her Seraph guides Swift forward with her knees and charges into the mist toward the creature that had bewitched her companion. Intent on its swift and utter defeat. Swifts magical horseshoes kept him a few inches above the ground, allowing him to charge over the rough terrain like it was open ground. Heira hummed with battle fury, its unknown power giving strength to it's wielders devastating power...

"Arv? What are you doing? Someone stop him!" Seraph yells at Arv but as he walks blank faced towards the creature, she growls in anger. She turns and rummages through her saddlebag, taking hold of her Tengu Drinking Mug and pulling free the cork stopper.

She slams back the drinking drug, imbibing the alcohol within to fortify her spirits against the malign creature they faced. After drinking several gulps she sets it back in her back and doesn't even pay attention to the rivulets of alcohol that had run down the sides of her mouth...

Hiera voiced it's concern for its mistress in a worried tone. "Is it wise to be drinking in front of an enemy mistress?"

Seraph chuckled loudly. "Yes because we're going to run it down Hiera!" At that Hiera's lance form seemed to shiver in anticipation.

"Release my companion creature, or taste defeat!"

Seraph takes in the situation and nods to Neji. "Send in Destroyerman Neji, we will back him up as necessary. Everyone take up positions and defend the Carriage. Janus, Neji must be protected, as well as the wheels."

She aligns herself with the creature and prepares a straight charging path if able. Hiera was already in lance form and Seraph's armor adjusted around her and Swift, protecting both rider and steed. Nothin will stop us from reclaiming this land.

Is there a path to charge this Corsario?

________________________________________________________________________
So Seraph in the lead with destroyer man protecting the sides / rear? Mulray and Arv directing the carriage and the rest of you guys are inside. Sounds like a plan!

Seraph looks forward to fighting the undead that swarmed over the land. She wanted to protect the citizens of Slobada, it wasn't for Venetia, Tatiana or even Danath. It was for the people that looked to her for protection...

And she wouldn't let them down.

Her armor expanded, the platemail turned into banded mail as a heavy barding slid over Swifts body, making the pair look like a single entity. She raised her lance, allowing the Silver dragonflight banner to fly from it. Hiera shines despite the gloom they rode through. "For Slobada we fight! We will cleanse these lands in her name!" The lances voice was clear and distinct.

I think taking the woods is a good start, creepy but at least we will be at the edge and work our way inward. One Hex at a time... Any thoughts?

Arv The banner isn't ready for her yet right? Until it I she still has the dragon banner and is proudly flying it now.

Corsario: Is there a backpack mount like those that the Samurai have that is available for purchase? I think it would be neat to have the banner flying proudly behind her as she charged into battle. :) I thought I saw something somewhere but can't find it.... I know that Samurai had a Sashimono to carry the banner on their back into battle. Anywho let me know and thanks!

I didn't mean to stay the night but oh well lol!

Seraph takes front line position, riding just ahead with Hiera at the ready and in its Lance form. Seraph was prepared to smite the first thing that dared to challenge them.

Seraph will want to either lead or guard the rear honestly. Shes a heavy hitter with her lance, she may not have magical ability but few things could withstand her lance strike. :) So Front or back is fine with me in the marching order~

As for plan forward:
Load up firewood if possible.
Follow the road as far as we can.
Navigate the fog and start exploring the northern edge of the undead lands if we can.

Any thoughts anyone? Arv? Venetia? Neji?

RL stuff! Apartment Business!:
Apologies for the wait, new apartment is turning out very, very nice. Indirect Hot Water boiler system is fantastic! Its going to save my renters a pretty penny~

Seraph nods in agreement with Arv before looking to the Halflings. "Is there a place on your farm or hereabouts we could bed down if needed sirs? We plan a long venture and would be willing to pay for an extended stay. Also I will pay double the trouble it takes to get more wood, up front of course." She discusses the details with them as needed before heading out after Arv.

Corsario:
For the sake of keeping pace this part can be waved as you see fit Corsario. Unless you have a special place for us to visit. >:) Abandoned farm house to stay the night in? Yes please~ CHa cha cha cha ha ha ha ~ begin creepy horror music~ RE RE RE!... So I suck at it so what! :P

Seraph takes up a front line position, riding just ahead or beside the carriage with her weapons at the ready. She was prepared to smite the first thing that dared to challenge them...

Diplomacy - Improve Relations with farmer couple: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29

Seraph will prefer a forward position for a clear charge path.

She watches the mist warily and nods to the farmers good sense. She was undaunted though, success was paramount and she'd ride through the gates of hell to see their mission succeed. Slobada would not fall while she drew breath. "Well we plan to change that if we can Mr. and Misses...?" She gives them her warmest smile as she tries to coax out a name from the hardened farmers.

Hopefully her diplomacy works out and she will follow it with the following questions.

"What else have you seen hereabouts? Anyone else of note we should talk to? Any local legends or ruins? Other ways to stave off the strange undead?"

Female Init +2; Senses Perception +10 AC 25 (Touch 12 Flatfooted 24) HP 43/89 F: +7, R: +4, W:+4

With the lose of some of our heavy hitters I will try and focus more on a damage build in melee. If I can charge it I can do some heavy damage but we know how that works out most of the time for Cavaliers lol. So here's to hoping for some open field battles!

Female Init +2; Senses Perception +10 AC 25 (Touch 12 Flatfooted 24) HP 43/89 F: +7, R: +4, W:+4

Got Seraph done.

Legendary item is too cool to pass up.

So I have Hiera (CG) Legendary Lance that is intelligent and able to transform into a Greatsword (this is subject to change but there is no limitation on what Shape it can change into only that it has to be the same size.)

I rolled a quirk for the weapon and apparently it loves its wielder, a lot, lol so added that too.

If you have an issue with it let me know Corsario but it does add some cool factor. Although I am looking forward to having Seven League Jump. That is friggen awesome!

Chose Champion and took Power Attack Mythic which increased her damage quite a bit when charging with her lance. On a spirited charge with high damage she can do upwards of 90 damage. On a critical it'll be devastating. Took Monstrous mount as it seemed a natural progression as some of us can fly. Looking forward to how we are going to obtain these mounts Corsario.

Seraph is aiming for a Griffon If possible, if we were more water based a Hippocampus would be neat.

Thanks let me know if there is any issues.

Seraph voted for Queen Venetia as well not wanting to harm the kingdom as she would stick to the founding guidelines of the kingdom. She then spent some time speaking with Maria as they made plans for finding Alexandria and meeting up again to discuss more personal matters.

She thanks Vodyanoy for his help fighting the Stag Lord and her hope in his families success in the dragon forest. She discussed with him as well about the search fir Alexandria and urgedfor them to take no major risks. She leaves it up to him on how they go about doing it and hopes for the best...

Right now without utilizing powerful magic I see us using various connections and local knowledge to find out what we can about her.

¤After the feast, once RP is wrapped up with Maria and Vodyanoy.¤

Despite not wanting to turn the kingdom over to someone other then Tatiana, Seraph was more then happy to tag along with Danath. As a trusted official she could help ease tensions by lending her voice to the diplomatic cause. She informed the citizens that now that the Stag was gone that sheb intended on bb her attention to the undead and burning every corpse alongside Venetia while the kingdom added the former stag lands to their kingdom. Meaning more lands to farm, mine and roads to be built.

She didnt hide the cheer in her voice at the thought of the kingdoms massive expansion...
